We have been together for 5 yeasr and married for 3 as of this year. we are very happy together. life nor are we perfect people in any way. But he and I both have respect for eachother and good communication with  understanding of what the other feels or needs. I so appreciate his help at home before he was able to work. Its not easy to up and leave your continent for love or anyother matter to assemilate easily anywhere else. no matter what you have learned about a place. If it were so, I would have moved to Morocco exspecting life to be easy there. He told me having close friends like the ones we met on VJ has helped especially meeting them or communicating with them outside the forums. having to know someone here fom morocco living in the US helped him alot too. Getting the first Job is not life or death for a newly arrived person, but learning the surroundings, new friends, family, and how to get around while im at work was the best. meeting his needs personally for  home and welbeing as he did for me when i visited him in his country was all I wanted to do. to give him the same great experience in coming here and now living here. Being patient is the key and a good listener too. I love my husband/best friend. life will bnot be easy. It won't help speed things up on NVC's end, but it will help with getting that GUZ number quicker.   Even when NVC tells you to call back next week, in reality, they just don't want the same person calling everyday. It does not mean that they won't have the case updated until next week.   So i suggest you to call every other day, so you can get that number asap without calling everyday   Oh okay, well noted, and we will be doing that to keep them on track. Posted Today, 08:59 PM Have you called NVC and asked for your case number?    REPLY; we just called both NVC and DoS, and they told us to call back next week. We hope something good comes out next week as said. The nvc is just now working on 8/27-29  time periods. I have been trying to follow similar timelines. Should be any day now. Ours is 9/05. Many of us had to wait much longer because of a high number of applicants in March and April , also the USCIS was working on other things because of Obama's unconstitutional changes and the expected passing of the so called amnesty bill, which should be called cheaper labor for American farmers   Oh okay, i hope all goes well sooner! thanks. hi,,i got my NOA2 on aug. 28 and i alreday have my case number,,,we called NVC everyday and luckily we got it on oct 10,,,call nvc or dos to get your case number      we just called both NVC and DoS, and they told us to call back next week. We(My fiancee and I) need some clarifications and assistance from you, please.Our petition has been approved, we had NOA1 on Feb 21, 2013. We received NOA2 on Aug 27, 2013. But till now, we haven't heard anything from NVC or the consulate concerning the next steps to be taken.   I've been reading on VJ, some people whose petition was approved on Aug 27 and 28, have already received their Case numbers, and some have even gone for their interviews already. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Hearing nothing from nvc	I and my fiance are waiting for case number but we havent heard anything from nvc for 1 month . My fiance calls and email to nvc twice a week but they said they havent got it yet and they told my fiance that It takes up 8 weeks from california to nvc to process. Im so worried about it so much cause Im scared that our application might be lost. Can you guys give me some good advices or some experiences about it. I really appreciate for hearing from you guys. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC and NVC , what is going on?	It seems that the transfer of I129F-NOA2 files from CSC to NVC is getting so slow or even no movement at all. This is so frustrating! What is happening or causing of the delays? If you can see the trend, the line graph for NOA2 to NVC had gone up, way up compared with May-July 2013. To know from other VJers who have August NOA2 receipts that they haven't gotten their case numbers is so disheartening.   How much longer do we all need to wait? Oh, I only can pray for more patience and perseverance.        Is so bad and unfortunate, and i don't really know what's going on at USCIS, NVC and DoS. Our NOA2 is dated August 27, but till now we haven't received our case number from NVC. We don't know where our case is now. They don't have anything concrete telling us after our numerous calls to all sections.   We called NVC as VJers advised, they(NVC) rather gave us the number of DoS to find out from them, we called DoS and they also directed us to call USCIS. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 - NVC RECEIVE DELAYS	Our 129f was approved last September 12 2013 and still no letter, no nothing from NVC   But i looked into the processing times of Visa Journey and it says there that roughly they are now processing the approvals of September 19 2013. I don't think so.   seriously, how are we supposed to know what happened to our cases. No one's giving an accurate answer. I saw some cases who got their approval June and until now they still didn't receive but i also saw cases where in their approval was September 5 and NVC received theirs already. How unfair is that???    How are we supposed to know if our case unfortunately got lost in their files   Our petition was approved on August 27, but till now no case number from NVC. Our petition was approved on August 27, till now we haven't received a case number to allow us proceed in the K1 visa process. Our file stayed with USCIS for 3 months after approval. We called almost everyday but but all proved futile. We finally had no other option than to involve the office of the Senator of my Fiancee. The office sent us an email yesterday that they contacted USCIS and finally they said our file left USCIS to NVC on the 26th of November.   NOTE: Please could anyone tell us how long it takes for NVC to receive files if they are mailed from USCIS? And more so, when should we expect our case number? Answers from you would really help us to reduce a little stress, because we are already stressed out in this process. Please help us. THANKS!!! It's 8weeks since we received our NOA2, but still we haven't received our case number. We keep calling NVC and DOS but nothing concrete, are they telling us. They keep directing us to call here and there, so bad. The phone call we just finished, the person who answered it said we should call back in a couple of weeks to check, gosh, not even days!!!   Don't know what is going on there, sometime ago they told us that it will take 4-8weeks to get the case #, it's now 8weeks and they saying we should call back in a couple of weeks. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Why US-Kabul embassy has sent my IV case to US	It looks like the case is in AP and they have sent to US to clear some red flags or something nothing to worry about. if they were to deny they would have informed you that they are sending the case back to US because they are denying it. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Why US-Kabul embassy has sent my IV case to US	You should contact the embassy again and ask why you are being sent back. Thats not AP. Thats a denial. More than likely a NOIR or NOID it goes to NVC than back to USCIS where USCIS will reaffirm or back up the NOIR/NOID and deny you.   It usually takes a few months to make it back thats why your congressman said 60 to 90 days.   Many especially out of Islamabad get sent back after a lengthy AP. I have a friend had 22 months in AP and they were sent back also. Just stay on top of your case and don't let up.   They wont hide it if they are to deny the case. Was she given a 221 G form? What does it say? It sounds like the case has been returned to USCIS in the USA. This is not good but we have to keep in mind this is an case concerning Afghanistan so this type of thing is to be expected. Your politicians can do very little to help you in this situation but there is nothing wrong with asking them to do so. For example to say its going to be 60 to 90 days when they know nothing about the case is ridiculous. The embassy have not collected her passport yet and she was given a yellow sheet after a very simple interview, I believe it is the 221g, it still says the case is undergoing AP.	habib	Male	Afghanistan	2013-09-30 00:20:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Why US-Kabul embassy has sent my IV case to US	Hi to all folks who are going trough the though AP process. My wife had her interview on early August 2013, its been almost tow months and she is still under AP. Today she visited US-Kabul embassy to find out why her visa case was not updated since September 14, she was told that the embassy has completed the inquiry and has sent her case to US - no specific location given - for further process. My question is that which office is approving immigrant visas, the embassy, NVC or state department? And why would they send her case back to US? I have filed the petition for her on March 2012, I am so frustrated and tired of the never lasting process.  PS: I have contacted my Senator and Congressman's offices, they said its gonna take from 60 to 90 days for AP to be completed, when I see some people have been waiting for years, it scares me.
