K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsApproved !! then no visa ?????

You need to chill out, actually you are being quite rude. Just because you told the OP what you think the truth is, is no reason to be rude and condescending. Often a status will change to AP for a day or so right before it's issued. It does not automatically mean the OP is destined to be in AP for months or years.

To the OP: there is no way for anyone here to know exactly what is going on. Seems to me they just didn't get the visa printed in time. The only way to find the real answer is to email the IV unit at the embassy, and/or call the DoS(there is no such thing as the dop that you keep referring to). Best of luck and keep us updated.

Hey thanks alot & I also thought the same they were being a little mean, I emailed the IV at the embassy and is waiting for a response from them. Hopefully they just forgot to stamp it and thanks alot , I will keep you guys updated on what they email me :)

Hi OP,

Everyone is in Administrative Processing until they get their visa. So please try not to worry too much for the sake of your peace of mind. If the consular say you are approved, you should be approved. It seems like their printing didn't catch up, like others say.

I understand your worries as our case status on CEAC site was "Administrative Processing" for some time.

Best,

JJ

Thanks guys you make me feel better when everyone says nice things :) Im trying not to worry and hopefully as soon as the IV at the embassy emails me back I'll let everyone know what happens :)

Wow I tell you what GOD sure had plans for me that I never saw coming.  I have had opportunities that few people have had on this earth. GOD has blessed me to share time and space with a woman that he designed himself, just for me. I've not only been blessed, I have been divinely favored. Thank you GOD for my beautiful wife Zoila.

I also believe in God and will pray for you and your fiance.

Aloha Ke Akua

Awe! Good Luck on your journey guys and life together!! :) Yes God plans for us and we must accept whatever he plans. The feeling of being far away from the person you love is really hard! Thank you so much I really appreciate it :)

You need to understand that they will tell you anything. You need to also understand that god does not grant visas. Look, you still have a long way to go, try and relax. All you can do is wait.

Its ttrue that god cannot grant visas but still god is the one who knows whats gonna happen and i ttrust him and I pray everyday so everything tto go right! Thanks anyways for answering my question I appreciate it :)

No one is being mean! Because you don't like the answer does not make it mean. Would you really rather people lie to you, and say there there, it's all right?

Ok first of all i called tthe dop before reading your posts! So that does not mean I dont like the answer! I am.just telling you what they told me and thats all !! And thanks I dont need you to tell.me its alright! Whatever god wants will happen there u go :)

I'm sorry for being so "mean" (really,... you think that's mean?  You must've been cuddled your whole life), but I was just trying to give you a dose of reality.

Ok :)

You asked a question, somebody answered it based on the information you posted, and you are not accepting it.  Why ask the question in the first place if you already know the answer?

Based on what you wrote, it sounds like you are in AP.  The embassy people are stupid for the most part, they either don't know what they are talking about ot are just flat out lying to you teling you there is no problem.

Ok why are you being so mean when I didnt even say anyhing o talk to u! Instead I was just saying no because I called them bwfore I read the posts and was just trying to tell them what they ttold me and not be mean! Thanks anyways but the dop said no ap :):)

"Then I checked on the ceac website for the visa and it went from ready to administrative processing!! What does this mean? Will this take long???"

That is what you asked. That is the question I have answered. If the website says you are in AP, you are in AP. Plenty of people before you have been assured they are not, when they are.

Ok thanks, I called dop she said hes approved thanks anyways :) :)

You are in AP at the Embassy level, for further scrutiny. There is no time frame for that. It can take days,  weeks, or months. On a couple of occasions people in high fraud countries are waiting longer than that. All you can do is wait.

No I called dop they told me his visa is approved and that just wait soon they will calll u and it doesn't seem that he is on ap!

I don't know for sure, but I would guess they just got a little backlogged in the processing and had anticipated having the visa ready earlier.  If he asked and was told there were no problems with the visa, I'm sure they will have it ready for you very soon.  Definitely call if you haven't heard in the next few days.

Hopefully thats whats going on!!! Thanks

Hello everyone, so my fiance had his interview October 16 on a Wednesday and everything went well and got approved, and the consular gave him a pink slip to go pick up his visa the next Wednesday which is today October 23. Received hard copy June 7, 2013 and they are asking for intent to get married within 90 days of arriving to the US, which we had already sent both original signed intent to marry documents the first time. Waiting for fiance's signed intent letter that was send express mail to arrive from his country to me, either today or tomorrow and I will send it out overnight/next day service with both his and mine original signed document together for intent to marry. USCIS should get it no later than Thursday, this week. OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS...Process time for possible NOA2??? (guestimations please) Feeling mixed emotions, needing assurance from readers, anything else I should do? YES, the intent to marry signed documents from both of us was sent in with original I-209F packet to begin with but for some reason they want it again.  Go Figure?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsCEAC Status Update Process Experience

Our interview was November 25, 2013 and the immigration officer basically said if we don't have a cosponsor we don't have visa. Even though I had sufficient current income, they only looked at the three years of income tax and only one was below the 125%.  All the other documents was fine. The last four months I have been trying to obtain several different candidate sponsors that unfortunately have been disqualified due to either not enough income on one of the three years required, lack of bringing in all documentations required or quitting in the middle of our process. Unfortunately this has set me back by going through this whole process with each one of these individuals by months, just to give you an understanding of the difficulty I have incurred.

I finally found a more than qualified cosponsor who makes well over the financial quota and provided 3 years of income taxes, which included a current paycheck stubs, birth certificate, drivers license copy, and signed sponsor documents. I also did a new intent to marry notary just to be safe and put that in there as well.

We have everything in order and all the documents was sent out, received on 17 March 2014 by the Embassy.

Here is the CEAC website progress, note the change in "Immigrant Visa Application" verses "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" text.  I noticed the change when it went from the old "Administrative Processing" to current "Ready." Also the Create Dates changed. It changed in four steps that I have listed below.  I hope this information helps others on their journey and best of luck.

CEAC and CSC Visa Information Services Website has not posted any updates currently. No waybill number, nothing. He received a cell phone text early morning instructing him to go pick up his visa at the post office (ptt).  Visa/Passport in hand and flight ticket booked for next week, so excited because it has taken such a long time/ process and finding a co-sponsor was challenging.  Very thankful for those who posted and responded.  May you have the best results in your journey and a happy life together!

Middle East and North AfricaCase going back to USCIS, who do I contact?

I know I'm Buddhist, and we're constantly on about religion. We can't have a rational conversation about it- we've agreed not to discuss it except in how it relates to our daughter. His sometime laziness and constantly needing to be pushed to do everyday things around the house is a huge issue too. I work 3 jobs, and I work HARD. To me, I am offended and hurt when I come home after working for 12-14 hours and have to clean up a mess around the house- when he's been blogging or writing music all day. I do understand that he comes from a culture where his mom took care of him until the day he stepped on the plane, but man, it's frustrating. I get a barrage of excuses. I gotta say tho, those are our only major issues. He takes great care of our daughter, and we still have so much in common- it works itself out.

Sarah

wow,
you are just simply awsome with your responses. i was just talking to my fiance Said about house hold responsibilities here in the usa . I reminded him of how he would be eating a couple of meals alone. we laughed about getting him a oversized stuffed animal to keep him company at breakfast and lunch.lol. but the reality has to be broken down about the busy life styels we have here. life can be crazy in the US. most people have work and other activites. I do alot in my community and I see home late and at bed time. so to discuss that express the need for involvment in some areas can be helpful if this is done before marraige. i teach a singles group and i meet people from many backgrounds. I see the hardship that people of different backgrounds can face when the communication fell short of some things from the beginning of the relationship. in fact i have a few projects waiting for him right now, that is more of a man thing to do. lol.

Middle East and North AfricaCase going back to USCIS, who do I contact?

<< I'm sick of people asking for advice/help and then bit$hing because they don't like the reality of the help that is given.
Did you really mean to refer to yourself as "not pretty" >>

I wasn't griping at you, just at the idea that that's all people seem to notice is our age difference. So, sorry if I offended you. I knew it was a red flag, but I didn't think that it would be as big of an idea as it has been. I figured if his family accepted me, why can't the consulate?

I meant "petty," as marked by narrowness of mind, ideas, or views. That's how Salah sees most women his age, so he prefers older women. I see that quite a bit with educated people his age. The "average" 20 something year old woman isn't after a partnership with equality but often wishes for one where she is treated like the princess she feels she is. Not many men anywhere in their 20s can support princesses.

I believe the time spent there is a factor also. i was only there 2 weeks because of my vacation time allowed me. working in hospitals can give a person lots of time limitations. but i will be there for a months since i begged my boss for that. we will also do a cr1 to go from there. i was told by my lawyer that the consolates take their time on appeals and before you know it, they are expired. my expires in april. so hang in there and go on to the next step. i am willing to give you the forward from my lawyer on the process the uscis and the consolate for the appeals and what he says about it. i have my email available to you. as i was toldbefore by another.. dont bemad at her, she is very cautious about her desicions. my fiance says he was never mad at her, but rather hurt over the outcome because so much was invested for the process. our families were hurt as well. my mother is a civil rights activist and she went to town with the race thing and i had to calm her down. so believe me i understand your hurt and dissappointment. you have to focus and go to the next costly step. i had to try and get my money back from many places for my wedding and reception party. a lot had to be undone for now. we were ready to go with it all on april 30th. but the right time will be the right time.

 It is possible that the consulate may have extended the petition before sending it. If that's the case, it may be reviewed, but it would take much longer than one month for a review to happen. More like 4-6 months. It takes more than a month just for USCIS to get the petition back.

that is the same thing my lawyer said to us. it takes a month to get it back to the uscis and they can take a long time to work on appeals or if they will in time. they can sit on them for a long time and they end up expiring.

Thanks for that piece of information. i am so sorry for the mis spelling, i was typing in the dark. In the beginning of my relationship I sounded like a police officer before we ever got serious. I myself have family that are not US citizens. I am a Bahamian desendant through my maternal grandparents. The people can be fake from almost anywhere even here in the good old USA. I have seen it before within my family with cousins. It makes it hard for everyone when the truth is distorted. I am grateful that I met my fince's family and friends and got to spend time alone with just them. i learned alot about them and him. though the friends where a bit shy with answering my questions, they did make it quite clear of how he has sacrificed alot to talk to me at times. even durring weather warnings. he even borrowed the money for a few calling cards whenever he got broke. since i know that, i now make most of the calls with m y calling plan. but i have a real old fashion person like myself that has a sharp since of humor, great intellect that i love, sporty, and a great sence of style. he does not try to keep up with everyone else. he takes care of his mother who is very sick. i took care of her wheni was there , which made it hard for me to coem back home to the USA. I miss her alot as well. I get to talk to his sisters from time to time about how the mother is going. my fiance is a very well reserved person, more introverted and i am the opposite. he has patience and I am trying to. i am more outgoing and as my grandmother would say"fiesty". we love the same foods and movies. So i have met my soul mate and want to proceed with our lives. So i hope with the next interview it will go well. In this economy who can afford to keep going through this over and over. I dont want to give Morocco's government all of my income.lol.

She's a tough broad. Just bear in mind that by denying your fiance, she is testing your relationship. She knows the options that are open to you when it comes to appealing and re filing. While some people on this site (myself included) can be very harsh at times, bear in mind it's because we've seen some stuff regarding Morocco and it's consulate- VJ is a great place to prepare yourself for what's ahead in your journey, and I hope we can help if at all possible.

I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR LETTINGME KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS PERSON. I AM NOT HATING HER IN ANY WAY. I DEAL WITH PEOPLE LIKE THAT IN MY PROFESSION AS WELL. BUT I DONT LIKE IT WHEN WE DONT RESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRUSTING US TO BE PROFESSIONAL IN MANNER. WE ARE APPEALING OUR CASE, BECASEU WE PUT ALOT OF PREPARATIONS INTO THIS AND PAYED OUT A LOT OF FUNDS AND MOST IMPORTANLY WE LOVE EACHOTHER. MY FAMILY IS EAGER TO MEET THIS NEW MAN IN MY LIFE AND I DONT WANT HIS MOTHER TO BECOME ILL AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE DENEIL HE GOT, SO WE WILL GO FORWARD WITH OUR CASE. WE WANT TO BE HAPPY AND WE WANT OUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO FEEL THE SAME. THIS WAS SOME EXPERIENCE. BUT NOT THE END. SHE MADE ME THINK ABOUT THE PEOPLE I SPEAK TO EVERYDAY. I AM AWARE OF HOW I TALK TO THEM. NOT THAT I WAS EVER MEAN, BECAUSE I GET COMPLIMENTS AT WORK NOT COMPLAINTS. I WAS PREPARED FOR MY SPRING WEDDING AND WE HAVE A FAMIKY REUNION THEN AS WELL SO MANY WERE WAITING TO MEET MY NEW HUSBAND. I AM SO LOST FOR WORDS BECAUSE OF THIS. I KNOW WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO THAT OFFICE, BUT I HOPE WE GET SOMEONE ELSE TO WORK WITH. I WILL BE THERE AND OUR LAWYER IS GOING THERE TO TAKE HIS WIFE ON VACATION, BUT HE WILL SEE IF HE IS ALLOWED TO INTER IN ON THE INTERVIEW. HE HAD TO DO THIS FOR HIS WIFE WHO IS OF ANOTHER COUNTRY. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR IMPUT. YOU HAVE BEEN HELPFUL.

Yep Malika215

you know, my fiance had his interview on feburary 7th. he had this same lady who is on the youtube video. he was very shocked to see a kind woman there, because she was not that to his face. she was very cold and impatient with him. she left him no room to answer his questions without her interruptions. she claimed that our relationship was not authentic enough since he did not have all the juicy details of my ex husband. she made him very nervous. we spent alot on money paying for attorney fees, mailing letters, shipping cost, airlines tickets, and more. In this bad ecomony, she has a lot of nerve to think people can just toss out funds like that to keep people like her employed. she gave him back his passport without any documents to say weather or not he was denied or approved. our Lawyer is outraged, because of this. she did not complete her assignment. he told us that her response back to him regarding our case was very wishy washy, because it gave him not reason or explination for why he was not given his visa nor did she forward her questions he requested. our papers was returned to the uscic in the us. so we are now having to appeal. i pray he gets someone else that will have a bit more respect than she has for other people. we are both hurt but not broken or shaken by her ill mannered work. we will be there again and she will know authentic when i get there with our attorney. i dont play games with arrogant people.

Ohhhh wow, coooool... Your NOA1 date is really close to ours too, wonder if we could arrange a joint interview timing for them so they have moral support..lol My baby seems to know almost everyone there, of course, khemissett is small as you know, I don't want to announce his full name on an open internet posting but pm me sometime, we'll find out if our guys know each other. I have met 4 other couples in waiting from Khemissett and one guy who did my hair and make-up at our engagement ceremony with a US spouse, who got his visa and left while I was still there, he's here now and just got his work permit, but still a little homesick :( Having a network of familiar friends when they are here is a plus.

IT WOUILD BE SO NICE TO HAVE A KHEMISSETT PARTY SOME DAY. MY FIANCE IS FROM KHEMISSETT TOO. WE ARE PLANNING OUR WEDDING RIGHT NOW AND WE PRAY THAT HIS INTERVIEW GOES WELL. BUT WOW , IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THESE MEN WHO ARE FROM THE SAME CITY GET TOGETHER.

WOW!!!! First I want to say thank you to everyone on here who has prayed for Imad and I and for anyone else who has helped us out. I was skeptical tonight about checking my e-mail because I never saw that one e-mail I wanted to see... you know?? The one that says... USCIS on it in the heading LOL I had just called USCIS yesterday and the guy said wait and call back end of August. I thought he was crazy and I was right cause guess what was sitting in my email this evening??? That's right, you guessed it

Middle East and North AfricaAdminstrative Reveiw Reasons? Any postive experiences?
ours was sent back for review and we had to start over again too, even with the help of having an immegration lawyer. but this time we are doing this alone and togethr and it has not been easy so we just laugh to keep from crying. with patience you can overcome all the obstacles that could arise durring this process. but you learn from others experiences here on visa journey. i just can't express how wonderful it is to have a network of friends.

Yes my husband did it online. plus he mailed it to them as well once he printed it. but they will take the email first anyways. just make sure he puts your case number in the subject box. be sure he put petitioner: name as it is on the case and your birth date and put beneficiary: full name and birth date, and last make sure they know it is is him that is writing the email. the guideline her on vj is good at showing you how to do it. yeah!!!!!! you all are just moving right along. they will have you print up your own incoices to send in each item too. nothing goes tio them without a invoice after he does that ds3032.
