K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	When should it be convenient to contact the NVC!!!!	If you've got your NOA-2 hardcopy, it means they sent your I-129F to NVC already. Most of times, I dealt with USCIS website. My fiance never got any notification by email or text except for NOA-1.   Mine was approved on October 11, 2013, and shipped to NVC on October 17. My fiance got NOA-2 hardcopy by mail a week later after shipped. And then, I started calling NVC a week after my fiance got NOA-2 hardcopy. Mine was processing at TSC and pretty quick when USCIS sent to NVC. I called both NVC and DoS (Visa Unit) to get my case number a week after shipped to NVC. I've got lucky because after a few calls finally they gave me the case number. Our NOA2 was Sept 11th, I got case # from NVC when I called on Oct 21st, although it reached them Oct 18th acc to CEAC website. You can use your case # for tracking on this link https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/   It is frustrating, but such is the process, inshallah all will go soon with you. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	any suggestion	They seem to send petitions to the NVC in batches, on either some kind of pre-set schedule or threshold. Some people wait literally just days, others a few weeks.   Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but wait. ok thank you your page on USCIS doesnt necessarily has to change to shipped. In some cases they dont always update the page even when they ship it to NVC. Our case is currently at the embassy and have an interview date on 9th december but our USCIS page shows the old approval notice so its normal. just wait a few weeks then call NVC to ask if they have received it. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Just have a quick question. Does the visa status online change to approved or refused? Or does it just go from ready to ap or issued etc.. It said before that the form to fill out for evidence of support is I-134 and now it is I-864... So please is there anyone who is knowledgeable about this? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Confusion about NVC letter??	i don't know if its the same as Saudi Arabia.. but on us we fill out the DS-160 and print the barcode and go other site and print up a deposit slip to pay in samba bank.. and then send all that with my medical etc. to the embassy and after few they they received it. they emailed us for the date of our interview.. Hello everyone,    We got our NVC letter today and says (THE US EMBASSY OR CONSULATE WILL CONTACT YOUR FIANCE(E) WHEN THEY ARE READY TO PROCESS HIS OR HER PETITION. IN THE MEANTIME, PLEASE HAVE YOUR FIANCE(E) AND HIS OR HER CHILDREN VISIT CEAC.STATE.GOV AND COMPLETE FORM DS-160 TO APPLY FOR K VISA)   Does this mean that I have to go online and fill the D-160 and wait for them to call me? or I to continue and pay online and book an appointment. Because in UAE we have another website where we can log in and pay for the visa and book appointment.
