In mexico you dont get nothing by mail, everything is electronically... first thing you should do is sent the optin, http://www.visajourn...ew_Online_Forms you will find everything there, after you sent the optin which you should do asap, go to ceac.state.gov you need you case number and invoice number call NVC to get it. once you log in do the ds-261 asap... after it has been accepted the IV FEE will be generated and the ds-260 will be available. read everything you need for the supportive docs( everything will be scanned and emailed) for Mexico you dont need the police certificate. That is not correct.  You make your own appointment when you complete your online DS260 form and pay your visa fee.    I am writing this as I am in Mexico City drinking coffee and eating a concha.  Our K1 visa was approved last month and my fiancée and I fly to Atlanta this Saturday...well that is if we can get to the airport.  This crazy teacher strike has almost shut down Mexico City.  You never know where they will pop up next and shut down entire parts of the city.  what? lol that is crazy. oh and about calling to schedule thats probably because you guys are k1, in cr1 they do it for us, you guys are lucky but that benefit from us that we are finish just have to remove conditions and get our green cards you guys have to adjust status right?	domingo y bianca	Male	Mexico	2013-08-29 13:17:00

I read you r from CLN me too, I have a question did you get the papers from the consulate? although it may be different from you as you are already married and I'm a fiance Cool, i actually have my interview on Oct 3, I started this because I just wanted to be sure. Also how did the Medical Exam worked out, did you have to make big lines early morning around what time and is it safe to go get Medical Exam 1 or 2 days before the interview date? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	After interview in Juarez	No they didnt tell us it was going to be ready, when they approved my fiance they told him it would take a week, but thats what they tell everyone, i knew it would take less time. When we scheduled the interview, we chose to have have the visa delivered in juarez, after the interview i just kept checking online until thursday morning i saw we finally had the number to track it down through the DHL website, friday morning i checked and it was ready to be picked up. There are two dhl offices, when the taxi from the hotel picked us up i just told him to take us to the DHL, and when we got there they told us it was at the other DHL office. :/ ok I see, I just need to book the hotel but i dont know if is worth staying an extra day and not get it, if I put juarez dhl office and im not there can i forward it to another office?	domingo y bianca	Male	Mexico	2013-08-30 16:12:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	After interview in Juarez	My wife was granted her visa on a thursday morning in Juarez and when she got home to Monterrey friday afternoon it was waiting for her at the DHL office. nice, but where you told anything if it was going to be ready at certain time? because instead of her going all the way back to sinaloa we can jus get it there in juarez, it we be easier for us instead of her going back all the way to sinaloa. If you can let me know if they tell you something if it we be ready by certain day or time. thank you. Otherwise they will dhl to whatever location you selected during your process of your appointments. My fiancé interview was Friday and today she picked up her visa in gdl did you ask? I think I saw somebody saying that they saw it get scan in dhl of ciudad juarez and they called to pick it up but I dont know if it was just luck. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2013	I haven't gotten the official email, but from what I could tell over the phone (and assuming there aren't other errors) mine was a mistake on my part. When filling in the section for Total Income, I used the Adjusted Gross Income (according to 1040EZ) instead of the Total Income - line 22 (according to the standard 1040). My brain registered 1040 and I didn't notice the part about EZ vs Standard until it was too late!   Kind-of sad because they have my tax returns, have clearly noticed the error, but I still need to correct. I guess they need perfect paperwork vs. common sense.    Also very disappointed my attorney didn't notice this when she reviewed the paperwork... At least this won't delay the processing of the DS-230 this week, but I'm sure it will delay our overall case complete yet again. damn that sucks, i got the email that they received my case on the 13 and its been under review since then they are taking a long time to review the checklists so you should send it asap if you have not send the response you should find out everything via phone and send them the response asap	domingo y bianca	Male	Mexico	2013-08-25 00:56:00

She said they reviewed my AoS and there is a small error in the gross income section I need to correct and that an Email will be sent with the checklist and the cover letter soon.   1) When do they send the email, It has almost been a day with no email. I hope I won't have to wait until next week to simply be notified!   2) Can updated AoS forms be sent back via email for non-electronic processing consulates, or will I have to express mail the updated forms?   They have not gotten around to looking at our DS-230 yet  what was the error on the gross income? they told me the same thing and two weeks later they send me a checklist saying we are sorry your gross income is correct the error is that you left blank the house total income ?? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2013	Up to that amount of time.  It could take 2 days, it could take 20...    You will most likely not receive a Sept interview because you case was not completed by end of July.  However you likely will receive your interview date in early Sept if you get your case complete in Aug.  Earliest interview date you can hope for IMO is Oct.  You might be right, but I believe every country is different. People from Mexico got there case complete about a week or two ad they got tere interviews for september, I also know someone that got a case complete not even two weeks and they got it for the first week of september. Good morning,   I click around so much at times that I can't recall where I saw an exchange that referenced typing up paragraph outlining the multiple sources of incoming in order to have the total tie out.  It suggested not to assume the reviewers would figure this out even though its obvious.     According to the instructions on the new I-864 what you listed is correct. You included gross total income from your tax return.  If you have your 1040 in front of you this would be the figure on line 22 which would reflect wages, tips, additional income, etc.     I've seen user: pushbrk comment on many other I-864 posts. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2013	Hello, sorry to bother I have a quick question I have a 1099 and w2 form and i got a checklist because apparently I inserted the wrong amount of money i made in 2012, my qestion is that in the transcript says i got for example 15000 for the w2 and 15000 for 1099 i added them tpgether and i got a checklist I dont know why because I got it from the second page where it says total income,so why did i get a checklist or what is the right thing to put? because im not understanding this checklist. A few days after I sent my I-864EZ form I noticed one of my figures $ for annual income was slightly off. I generated a new form and filled it out entirely and signed it.  I generated a letter explaining the reason for the re submission and I printed out my AOS bar code cover sheet.  I called the NVC and was told I could send it and another Rep told me to wait until I received a checklist.  I asked for feedback (NVC Filers - July 2013 thread) and based on that I chose to hold off.  I chose not to send it off on the chance that they not catch it or give me a case complete or give me the "bring the revised form with you to the interview" response. If not, I have every thing ready to overnight as soon as I get a checklist.     Although, I've seen a couple of VJers send revised forms or missing documents before being asked with success.    It's really something to consider and decide on based on your circumstances. And they reviewed my case but appartently I put the wrong amount in part 6 section 5 for total income. I was checking it and called NVC and ask for a supervisor, and he said that apparently it looks correct that he was going to send it back to get it checked. I was happy but he then said that I also left blank part 6 section 10, GREAT!!!!!!!!! so my question is should I send the revised AOS or should I wait? I started working 2011 middle of the year or less so I just earned about 9k, in 2012 I got 29k. For the I-864 I didnt explain why I earn 0 dollars back in 2010 will they ask for a co-sponsor or will I get a checklist I been thinking of this the whole weekend and been worry... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2013	to resend with the biodata is not a problem however, when i did this - i note it delayed things by 3 days, till they caught up with the right email.   otoh, i did get some relief on another mis-send - i called in after the final-final resend, talked with a supervisor, explained which email was the right one, and the supervisor got the 'email guy' to find it, detach it, and add it to the casefile.   IMO, doing that was a godsend, as that set was detached and reviewed the same day.   ---- keywords:  EP Mexico Ok thank you, so I should call first thing monday and tell a supervisor correct?
