Philippines	homeless people	Yes it is true life here is not easy you can make a small house along the road or along the river or anywhere like what people did in the Phils. there are many people in the Phils. living in the called squatter area but here you can't do it. I saw a old couple live the bridge near to our home. I felt very sad when i was waiting my husband to pick me after my work, bec. i dont have a ride. I wait at walmart here in Asheville, NC, for about 3 to 4 hours bec he is working also 2nd shift on his full time job. I saw a young couple bringing their baby. They are trap and caught in the door by not paying all the groceries in their cart like sandwiches, butter etc..and the Police arrived about 15 mins after and went to the room where they are hold. I saw also an old dirty man who are trap in the door before living at walmart. about 5 to 6 items on his cart he didnt pay at the counter, all are groceries. that time i was waiting my husband in the counter. I said to my husband will try to see if the man still there outside so that we will buy the groceries for him. My husband work 3 jobs, 1 full time and 2 part time jobs but sometimes is not enough to pay our bills, mortgage, loans. especially he become a victim when he trade- in the car and the compay got close and dont pay his car. he can't do anything. he is paying to that car not on his hand anymore he can't locate where is it now.DMV wont help him locate where is the car now.The insurance of that company is not enough to pay all their victims...it is very sad. That's the first biggest problem we encountered in our marriage. second paying my medical bills after the deduction of our medical insurance. Last month i visited Cebu, Phils. when people asked about here. Philippines	Travelling with my maiden name on my passport	I had my vacation in the Phils, last Jan 20 -Feb. 9 this year, My passport still in my maiden name (not yet amended) i brought my marriage certificate and green card. I dont have any problem re entry here in USA but I used my maiden name (in my passport's name) in my plane ticket. Philippines	Can I divorce my wife for cooking fish?	I cook lumpia shanghai and lumpia using mongo sprout. We both bring pack lunch and dinner in our office. My favorite is chop suey is a chinese food bec. it is more on vegetables. I cook it in a filipino way and Tinulang manok with malunggay (horse radish-tropical vegetables) and sayote/chayote or green papaya. Philippines	Can I divorce my wife for cooking fish?	We eat rice 2 x a day and I cook filipino foods bec. i eat only few american foods. Most of our ingredients from Philippines. I cook filipino dishes. He bring pack dinner and snacks in his office. He always understand me bec. of love. he is now filipino american. Philippines	A little something about the place where you live	We live in North Carolina, near Asheville. A place in NC where there are mountains surrounding it with a few Lakes. Many beautiful trees, very colorful during autumn season. Mt. Mitchel is nearby the tallest mountain in Eastern United States. Scenic Blue ridge parkway here. Asheville the home of Thomas Wolfe a famous auther who wrote Look Homeward Angel. One of the Lakes here called Lake Lure where the film Dirty Dancing was shot. My returned ticket from Cebu to Manila, i bought when i'm already there in Cebu 1,700.00 pesos only (Phil. airlines ) there is a big difference if you buy domestic ticket in the Phils here. Im thinking how i can save more next time, bec we're planning to visit earlier next year just to send money in the Phils. to buy ticket for us thru online and we are the one to print the e-ticket here. Philippines	PINK SLIP	Hello everyone!!! im done with my interview last july 11, 2008 @ 6:30am, my husband was with me too and thanks God i only got a pink slip...well, we were over prepared, we had all the documents / evidences that were needed..i guess i carry almost 8kilos coz i also brought our call records and a lot of chat transcripts. but guess what? the pre screener as well as the consular officer doesnt ask anything from us..they doesnt even see our wedding pictures, its just that the consul and me are friends..hehehe..we were just talking about the winter there if im ready for it and yes she was also asking me about my husband's family and she doesnt ask even one question for my husband its jst like my husband was our audience.heheh..well i am just so lucky to have a very nice pre-screener and a consular officer...Goodluck for those whose having an interview soon, just pray to God and trust him..ill be going home with my husband this comming july 22..im so excited..goodluck guys...	monalisa	Female	Philippines	2008-07-12 23:59:00

She asked me "why do you have receipts here? are you going to reimburse this papers?" but then i answered her in a nice tone "oh sorry caz i thought it is needed". The second thing she asked for is the Tax Returns (2007) and Affidavit of Support. She asked me on why is it the Tax Returns has only 2 pages. I nicely replied "that is what the IRS sent to my husband but i think the 3rd page you are looking for is at the back of the 2nd page" she looked at the back of the paper and never said anything. I was waiting for her to ask the W2s but she didn't asked for it instead she asked me questions: 1. What is the petitioner's name? 2. What is your name? 3. When was the first time he visit you and until when? 4. When was the last time you saw him? 5. When did you get married? She wrote all my answers in a paper then after those questions, she asked for pictures and emails. I gave all the pics and emails that i have and then she asked me to go to the waiting area. I thanked her but again she never said anything. when i sit back to the waiting area, I almost burst out from laughing remembering the reimburse thingy lol! I told myself what if i answered her "can i?" lol! My number flashed on the screen and it says window 32. i was like "Oh my! the famous window 32!! " lol! The CO was a young pretty american girl. She never smiled or even looked at me (nasayang lang ang facepowder at lipstick ko! lol!). She greeted me good morning then asked me to raise my hand and swear that i'll tell the truth blah! blah! She asked me these questions: 1. Where did you meet? ---- We met in Yahoo Literati. 2. What is that? ---- It's a Yahoo game. 3. What's the petitioner's name? 4. What's your name? 5. How old is your husband? 6. What does he do? 7. How old are you when you get married? She browsed at the emails and pictures that i submitted while asking me those questions. After that, she told me to go back to the waiting area and wait for name to be called. It only took me 2 mins in the CO room i went back in the waiting area wondering if i passed or what caz the CO never said anything. At last my name was called and I was asked to go in window 37. I GOT PINK SLIP ONLY!! WOHOOOOOOOOO! I wanted to shout bec i am so happy but then thank God i was able to stopped myself or else the guard will kick me out of the embassy lol! woohhhoooooooooooo! i was teary when i got the PINK SLIP caz i know i'll be with my husband very soon! I wanna thank all the people who helped me. Mina, Nagi, Ivory, Marie, Mariz, te ninfa, ting, te ann, heidi, te zsa, cloe at sa mga sumagot ng mga questions ko. And dami nyo sencya na hindi ko matandaan lahat hehe (wag kayo tampo ha ). I also wanna thank Sheriiff for the helpful guide I met Marjo2008 in the interview, she is friendly and nice. She is also got pink slip! hooray for her!!! Praise God! He is so good! WOW! i still can't believe that this is it! I will be in my husband's arms very soon Congratulation Pink, Im happy for you. Good luck and take care to your flight, Soon you will be in your hubby's arms again and that time its forever. Pray for us too who still go next to you. Philippines	Praise GOD, I passed the interview with PINK slip Only!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yeheyyyyyyy	Glory To God, I made it, i passed the interview with Pink slip only at window 32. The CO just asked me 4 or 5 questiona and im done, i cant believe it. I had & 7am appointment, arrived at USEM at 545am, and get inside around 615, and i was done at 830AM, and i got out from the USEM at 9am i got home at 10AM. MY son is with me too, the CO just asked his name, and thats it, were done. Im so happy, very happy , soon i will be at my honey arms . To all VJ's thank You so much for all the prayers. Now just wait for the visa to be deliver by DELBROS. Philippines	GLORY TO GOD.........GOT MY VISA TODAY	I got my visa and my son's visa today exactly 820AM, i was soooooooo happy, finally the waiting is over, I got my visa after 5 days from interview. Thanks to all VJ memebers who help me to all my quiries and all who prayed for me. From the bottom of my heart please accept my sincere Thanks. See you again during AOS. WE will leave Japan and POE Dallas Texas. To all who still waiting for there visa , dont ,lose it will come soon.
