I called DHL. The customer service lady (Kerri-Ann or Terri-Ann) told me that the package is in the head office in Kingston.

I told her the website says that it's in Montegy Bay and went out for delivery last night, which seemed strange since we opted for pick-up. She said that the Montego Bay location is closed on weekends, but it will be available for pick up Monday morning.

I asked if there is anything we can do, because we need the visa in that package in order to fly out today. We're willing to pay extra. She said she'll call the manager and see if he will extend the service. They wouldn't charge extra for that, she said; give her an hour.

So the waiting is extended.

I feel like we should be driving to Mo Bay now, but 1) we don't know if Steven needs to say goodbye to his family/friends and 2) we don't know if we need to bring all of his luggage or not.

I say grab his SHITZ say goodbye and be on your way. If he doesn’t get it then he’ll be back but for now kisses smooches deuces AUDIOS(sp) !!!!! Get ur rass in that car and be out Nat.. Now!!!

Apparently, one time my mother wanted me to let her know when I arrived safely. I made a big deal out of the cost of that text, and when I did send it, it said "Made it safely. PLEASE do not text me back!" So the next trip, she asked me to let her know when I made it and not to worry: she won't text me.

If I call the DHL number, the answering service indicates that their offices are open from 9 to 1 on Saturdays. However, this site indicates that only one of the Kingston offices is open at all on Saturday. So we won't know until 9:05 or so if he'll be able to come back.

Nat I'm like on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen. I'm praying the recorded line is correct and the website is wrong. Man oh man so you mean to tell me you could have grabbed the Visa yesterday?? Aghhh. U sure you can't call in (cough) (cough) sick on Monday.

Ha! You know what's funny. My house can be very messy at times I hate cleaning but if you opened any drawer of mine everything in it is always folded and neat. I fold panties, boxers, socks EVERYTHING and if I go in one of my kids drawers or my husbands and its not the same I will stop and tiddy it up. Its one of my pet peeves that and a clean fridge. I’m telling you my house can looks like a tornado ran through it but my fridge and drawers are ALWAYS spotless!!!

I was just remembering last night & so glad I have hubby even though I want to push him off of the bed sometimes. I was having a dream that I went into the laundromat we live behind because I heard noises late after business hours. Next thing I know is I see a younger white guy pop his head up over a bank of washing machines & I start telling him he needs to get out & what not. Right then I see he has a gun pointed at me over the machines & I start to run back towards our gate as he follows me in his sights. I'm saying "I'm calling the cops you f#$ker!" and trying to get away. Then hubby is shaking me awake & telling me to wake up. My heart was pumping & everything cause I thought I was going to get shot. I asked hubby what I was saying & he said it sounded like "help, help"....then I asked if I said the F word & he said, "oh yeah, you said f@#$er". Then he said, "ya brave!"

This story had me rolling cause you were big and bad telling the guy to leave until he pulled out that gun then you rass went running chat bout I’m calling the cops….. I must have needed a laugh cuz I have tears in my eyes typing this from laughing….

shoot i just got my PTO for the year i have 190 hours and i was reading the post op recovery for most people is 7-10 days cause the throat becomes more painful as it heals up and then i guess it scabs over( gagging at the grossness of it all) well aint no way im staying home for no 7 days...

I had my tonsils removed last year... had the surgery on a Tuesday (or maybe Wednesday) and returned to work Friday, 1.5 weeks later. I definitely needed all that time off.. but I think it had to do with the medicine. They put me on 3 different ones. Whenever I'd take them, I'd feel VERY dizzy. If I walked a few steps, I got quite breathless too. Finally one of my friends helped me look up all the side effects online. Sure enough, one of the medicines had shortness of breath as a side effect. So I called the doctor & he switched me to this other medicine.. but only prescribed a little bit of it. I ran out & they were very slow to respond to my request for another prescription... to where I went about half a day without pain medicine. I was CRYING it hurt so bad... and that was a week after having the surgery.

So if your job will give you the full two weeks off, take it. All that medicine will have you sleepy to where you wouldn't even want to work.

Uh oh Nat I think you just made the situation worse. Honey is not tryin to take off two weeks because that means two less weeks in JA. Something tells me she will be sleeping at her desk. Too bad it has to go against your personal time and not sick time or something like that.

Ha the same thing happened to me last week but my bra was by Lane Bryant. I swear this wire ket scratching me so I pulled it out and all day long I kep thinking are my breast lopsided?
