Umm the only problem with that is she calls from many different numbers because she cant keep her bill paid up and alot of times it from her job, I want to call her boss and let them know hwat she is doing on company time constantly but I also do not want to argue with hubby since he is not working and the possibility of her lossing her job. Does he have his own phone? If not I would get him one and change your number so therefore she can only call and harass him. If she has the house number change that too. I just got the money back tuesday for my daughter's phone. She has it now. We went on line to look at her account and the person who has her phone deleted her contacts but never emptied the trash so she was able to get them back. However, they stored 9 new numbers which I wrote all of them down. I went on facebook and tracked 2 people down. They both are seniors at my daughter's school and one of them lives not too far away. I emailed the info to the assist. principal and told him to do whatever he wanted with the info. I also have my car back from the shop now... Things looking up.... Also prayers for hubby he may have a perspective job, even though no word on our AOS shyt Glad to see things are looking up Tee!!! Fingers crossed on hubby's perspective job. I agree with that because I feel like I’ll be in the middle. I have friends that have never been so I’m sure they’ll want to see the sites and then I’ll be trying to chill with Nev if we’re still (friends). I know my BFF wont mind but the other who knows but like JG said I’ll just tell her ahead of time what I’m doing and if she is in agreement cool if not oh well. Here's the thing.......stay at the nice resort as a compromise. You sure can leave her butt there a lot easier then if she's scared of yard. You know? Tell her ahead of time "this is what I'm doing today (tomorrow) whenever. You can go with me or you can stay here and chill on resort. I'll be back when I get back. As for myself I'm stressing about the summer already, out of the 12 teachers and co teachers at my job, only2 of us will be working for the summer and that means there'll be a bunch of teenagers running around claiming to be teachers... Glad you enjoyed your intown getaway, I'm planning one and my friend thinks I'm nuts but I know it'll be worth it. Hubby will be back before you know it, in the meantime have fun!!! What's so crazy about it? Sometimes a get away is so nice when you can spend some alone time... I did it for my ex surprised him with a spa tub and I had fruit candles and all the trimmings. I’m geeked about my one friend going my bestie but the other I’m not. All she wants to do is sit around the resort and eat and drink. I know now she’ll be complaining about it being so hot and about me running the streets. Also she wants to stay at a nice resort where I’m so over that. I love to stay at the yaad or an very inexpensive place. I don’t go for the resort I go for the country and the chance to get out and see and do things. I’m hoping she drops out. I really don’t have money to go before Oct with me moving but at the same time Oct is too far so like I said who knows. I might have to do a very quick weekend just to hold me over. This one, however, was in the backyard of the Jungle - they set up a stage and an outdoor bar - It was put on by Soul Rebellion, who is a charity that has been building schools, etc... in JA - Dang ders a roof deck and an outdoor bar?? Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	I believe that's what keeps us going, we remember why we got married in the 1st place and what we truly love about each other. No one said it would be easy and we are ready to work through whatever comes our way. Unfortunately because we're young, family memebers and friends don't think it'll work and I just shake my shoulders off b/c majority of those heffers are divorced and din't try to work on it I talk, I just prefer to observe more when I'm in a crowd or especially when I don't know you, he just chats away and I hate it but what to do other than bite my lip... He has other great qualities and I think about that when I wanna snap... I hope you either come to accept Nev that way or he start to be more outgoing toward you... Its funny how they don’t think it will work because you are young when here back in the day most couples who were together for years married when they were young. As far as me and Nev I shall see. I told myself I refuse to be with a person that doesn’t communicate. To me that is key and I don’t think I can be with a person who doesn’t do it. Only time will tell. The trip was good - Started off with a nasty nasty customs byatch, lol - but then it was fine - We first went to Negril, where I linked up with Sonshyne and Morantbay (for you OTs who remember, lol) - Western Consciousness got postponed due to rain - But we did go see Etana and IWayne at the Jungle - we left before Stephen Marley came on. We had talked about driving from there and stopping in Alligator Pond then through Kingston to Portland, but with everything else going on we ended up driving through Mo Bay and Ochi to Portland - Spent a week there, lots of rain - then headed back to Mo Bay earlier than we planned (we had had enough rain, lol) - We stayed at a little guest house up the road from the police station - Nice and quiet, totally relaxed. One thing that shocked me about Mo Bay was how much seems to be gone - Many shops on the Hip Strip were bare and closed, and the shops that did have stuff had old, moldy stuff at way higher prices - We were talking to one of the shop owners and he said they are having a harder time getting goods. Shut up mi hip strip don’t look the same. Nooooo!!!! I always stop near the ladies who have to sell their goods in the back. I no longer go back there though too many of them coming at me but the one knows me and I know her and I always buy a piece of jewelry from her. Last time I went I was in Negril so I didn’t get a chance to go past. Last time I was on hip was Feb. I feel so bad the hip strip was my spot. I just met someone who lives in Portland. You get sono's early now because I remember with mine I always had to wait till I was 4-5 months. Luv good luck not knowing the sex of the baby. They couldn’t tell what I was having with my second child and it drove me crazy and after so long I was tired of buying yellow or green because you know you have to stick with neutral colors. den nuh muss!! Tee, that's our problem, he talks a little bit too much but what I didn't realize was that I need to accept him the way he is and stop telling him to be more observative than talkative. I apologized to him for my rude behavior, yesterday was 1 month since we've been married and while I (surprisingly) haven't regret it, I do think that the 1st month was horrible. So we had a little dinner and ate a piece of the cake from the wedding. Hopefully I'll calm my little ####### down and stop taking out my frustrations on him and I will tell him you said hi I think your taking a BIG step Jenkins you realized you have some issues and your working on improving them what more can anyone ask. You and your hubby have a lifetime to adjust to one another and its going to take some time no doubt but again you are trying. I worry about Nev and myself. He is so quiet it irks that mess out of me so I feel your hubby's pain (sorry). We like ta chat while our mates are quiet. I hate when mi chat ta Nev and he just says umm hmm umm hmm its like talk back to me darn it. So the other day he was talking and all I said was umm hmm umm hmm. He got so frustrated he was like talk to mi mon (mi luv how he says this) anywho he got upset and I told him that is what he does to me. He was like ooohhh I can see how upsetting that is. Exactly!!! But still our communication needs some work. If he's upset he just shuts down where as when I'm upset you can't stop me from going off. I refuse to settle for a man who can't talk to me so this has me thinking. Congrats Shemmy and D!! Congrats to Shanette also with the green card I got some news myself. I am 2 months pregnant. I had my 1st sonogram yesterday and everything is well with baby. My due date is 1/1/11. I wanted to wait a while b4 I annouced it here!! Sunray I thought u were gone to Jamaica? I use eCoupons in addition to mfr coupons & end up getting stuff for free, cheap, or even make $$ off it. Krogers??? Do tell. I see there is a Krogers down NC I went this past weekend and I like it. I'm so used to Wal-mart it was different shopping somewhere else. One of the things i have to get used to is brands some of the brands I'm used to up here I didn't see down there or maybe it was the stores I was in. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	Hey all... Did almost nothing at the weekend, but did take photos at two parties/dances. Was talking to another photographer who I often see at these events. He sets up a background and takes pics and prints them out on the night, which I don't currently do because I don't have a 'ghetto' backdrop, ie the car or champagne bottle. So anyway, he'll make little smart comments about how much money he made, or how nice and cool it is downstairs and how I'm sweating it upstairs. I just smiled at him....So anyway, we were talking about quality of photos and he said oh he doesn't use an external flash 'he keeps it basic' and plus the people 'don't know the difference'... Now, I agree, BEFORE I came on the scene, partygoers may not have realized how BAD his pics are, but in a SIDE by SIDE comparision, his don't make it. So I say this as diplomatically as I can, he says to me 'well anyway you went to college for it, I trained myself'....I nearly fell over laughing, because of course this means he's been on my site looking at my photos and saw the 'about me' stuff. But what makes me feel so darn good is the week after a take photos at a party, EVERYONE who I have taken a pic of on facebook uses mine as a display...No bigger compliment....But I still just shake my head at the attitude that because you think the person you are photographing doesn't know the difference, there is no point in stepping your game up! I don't care if my client thinks they are AMAZING, I STILL want to EXCEED their expectations, CONTINUE improving. Even if the CLIENT doesn't know a good photo from a bad one, I DO! English you care about your work and you put your heart and sole into it because you love it. It sounds like he is just doing it for the money and he " thinks" he is good at it. Mine is in a few weeks but I doubt I'll be going *kiss teeth* I was 1 out of 5 african americans and those hispanics didn't care for us too much (staff and students)... I don't wanna end up going and don't understand what is being said. Yes we did take pics and he was gonna post them on facebook but I told him he's addicted to facebook and he didn't post them... I've got work to do, we did an assessment and it came out that I'm arrogant, controlling and lawd I'm so horrible I don't wanna say the rest...Lol... Sooo all weekend I've been trying to be nice to him "honey" this and "sweetheart" that. It is fun now that I'm doing it but it hurt when he said in counseling that I tricked him b/c I was extra sweet in JA and now that I got him hooked I'm mean Jenkins your a meanie (sp)?This made me laugh because normally its the other way around. I'm trying to work on not nagging or crying about everything so much. Also my tone of voice. I have been told I holler alot. Good Morning Yardies....Im so damn sleepy I dont know what to do. NYC was a blast my hubby really enjoyed it all. We got home at 5am today G slept for an hour and was off to work. I slept late but made it to work. Now I wish I was in my bed....Lawd please help me through this day. I agree I so didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I drove back from NC last night and I'm feeling the effects. We went camping Saturday night....swimming, boating, 4 wheeling. It was sooooooooooo fun. Sunday morning, I had a rude awakening. My dad was rushed to the ER at 3:30 a.m. He had a heart attack. We zoomed home. 4 blockage...2 they didn't seem worried about too much. 2 stents. Loaded him up with Plavix and some diet and exercise tips. Sent him home Monday afternoon. Kind of unbelievable to me since he's 72 years old. My family loves the medical drama on holiday weekends. Wow that was fast. Sometimes I think medical is too fast for its on good. In Jamaica, it would be a foregone conclusion that you would take the child. That is probably why your husband said he would take the child, in Jamaica, the question would even arise, it would be assumed that the child would be taken in. I know you are saying that your daughter needs to adjust, but what is the alternative if no-one takes your niece? Foster care? This is probably one of the biggest cultural difference between Americans and Jamaicans. Here, it's no biggie. The though is, well I can't be inconvenienced, so while I'd like to take the child I can't. In Jamaica, there's a sense of responsibility, no matter how it is going to be worked out, it is going to have to be worked out. Your husband is probably finding how you think incomprehensible right now because it is so far removed from what he would expect to do. Hope you make the right decision. I know I'm late and I'm not in your shoes JQ but I would take my niece in a heart beat. As long as it means she won’t have to go to foster care then yeah I'll take her and we'll all have to make do. Now if another family member can take her cool but if not at my house is where she would be. I feel for her. It sounds like she is bouncing from house to house with no real stability. Not that its your fault you didn’t cause all this heck your taking care of yours but still its just said sad is all. Why is most of the people in my office making jokes after they found out Gary Coleman died. Just for today cant they just resist the urge to make fun of the dead. I tried to make a doctors appointment for the girls and my son at the same time and they told me they only can schedule 2 kids at a time. #######!! She said it is the office policy.
