Try to send an email to Angela. We did the same last Friday and she let us now Tuesday that will have the decision in few days. And we did have the approval in 3 days. She is a real angel. We emailed the representative as well and useless, same answer from them just wait 90 days.My wife for shore will not vote any more with Loretta Sanchez since she did not helped at all.

I got to a point that I'm scared to ask for some help...I fear to get even more disappointed and hopeless.

Thanks for your advice anyway

Alright, Lidia :) And my hubby rarely comes to VJ either. Posted Image

Have you got any update on your daughter's case yet?

I didn't even get an update on mine, yoou remember I had a 1st RFE on mine on Jan 27, we sent what they requested and still nothing. I'm losing hopes, this is so ridiculous. We're in the hands of people who have never touched ICR, K3 files.

Yesterday I called TSC, I hope they will release us soon, I really feel like if I was in prison, in prison at home. Prisoner of the USA and at home Paris :crying: :crying: :crying:

People you haven't seen the incompetence yet, here it is,

They separated my dougther's from mine, and guess what? My daughter's became : " Petition for Alien Worker" that's in the RFE letter. BTW my daughter is only 13 years old.

Gary thanks for your help, I was on the phone with an officer, tier 2 when I got your reply. I'll follow your advice this pm, am in Texas.

No we didn't, we're about to send the response. I got the new certificate, official documents are easy to get here in France, most of the admin services are electronic.

Unbelieveable! Are they blind? Don't they see the English there? Sometimes people are so careless that they don't see the other language there. I wonder what my RFE will be. I called USCIS and even a tier 2 doesn't have a clue on what my RFE was about. How long did it take your RFE to arrive in your mailbox? I am just tired of this whole process.

Congrats to all those who got approved. Sorry I'm not in a cheerful mood since yesterday. Hope everyone gets approved this week.

I do not want much from TSC

Just: 6 approvals for June, 31 for July, 41 for August and just 1 for September TODAY!!!!

Thats it, not much :)

They don't know what they're doing. My exemple is the evidence of their lack of knowledge regarding the US spouse visa process.

Is this incompetence coming out of the TSC or CSC?

You're not alone... you're in the company of other good people whose lives have also been placed on hold- just like I tell my wife, any day now, we'll either be approved or get an RFE- either way, we'll be another day closer to being together :)

Keep the Faith :)

2nd RFE, this time my daughter's petition, and guess what they don't claim for the passport but for a TRANSLATED birth certificate. In Europe we have multilingual official documents, and it's exactly what we submitted, they are askeing for an english version of something which is already in English :bonk:

People I've never, never seen such a nonsense.
Do you imagine me going to see a translator and tell him to translate something from English to English???? :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionDHL Tracking From NVC to US Embassy

Hi, I was going crazy calling NVC everyday and I had given up when I had saw this on a post from another person and decided to give it a try. I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

EXAMPLE:
* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A
* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011
* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011
Account Number - Leave this blank
Shipment Destination: Egypt / You Choose your Country

The day I was trying this I saw a package had left for Egypt. I thought could that be our's? I called the NVC and I was told our package had gone out. The one I had saw was our's I was so happy. I just checked our's it's at the Sorting Center in Egypt now, it's moving fast :)
Someone with the example date I made up above for the country of Egypt has a package going to Egypt now as you will see if you try this.
The best of luck to everyone :)

Congrats Lidia & JB!! I am gathering my RFE response and hope to send it in by the end of this month. This is encouraging news.

Requested 3 years of tax transcripts from the IRS online about a month ago and still nothing in the mail. Am guessing the IRS is particularly busy this time of year

Thanks qoqisha! Patience is not only a virtue but also our best ally!!! BTW we added a few copies of our family cell phone plan statement, it showshe 3 names (mine, hubby and daughter)

Good luck!!!

Hi everybody,

Yesterday, May 13th we received a text msg as well as an email informing us that our GC was ordered and it will be mailed to us within 30 days :joy:

Actually we responded to the RFE on May 3rd, the package was delivered to USCIS on May 5th, I don't know exactly when we were approved, but the GC was ordered on May 12th.

What a journey!!!

Thanks for your support!! And good luck to those it may concern!!!

Hey Folks,

I have been following the July filers thread for quite some time to get ideas on timelines and am finally joining since there hasn't been much activity on this thread for some time :)

My wife and I got married in March 2010 and we did not file an AoS until mid 2011 since I was on H-1B status till Sept 2011. We finished the Aos process and I received my conditional GC in September 2011.

We had filed  my I-751 to VSC on July 19, 2013 , the case got transferred to CSC on Sept 17, 2013, and had not heard anything from USCIS since. So I filed an eRequest on March 25, 2014 and got an email saying they would respond by April 9th.  I received an RFE yesterday from CSC dated April 10th :(

RFE states that 'the documentation submitted is insufficient because little to no evidence of joint ownership of assets and joint responsibilities for liabilities has been received and little to no evidence of communal residence has been received'. I was dumb enough to think that sending only the latest bank statement from our joint account  would suffice, instead of spamming all 2 years of statements (did not discover VJ until after we had filed the petition). Here's a list of what we had originally sent in:

·         Copy of our lease agreement
·         Joint bank account statement for the month of June 2013
·         Joint Federal and State tax returns for the year 2012
·         Joint Federal and State tax returns for the year 2011
·         Copy of life insurance policy listing my wife as a beneficiary
·         Utility bills (electricity) year to date, 2013 (January ? June 2013). Water is included with rent
·         Copies of our drivers? licenses showing our current address
·         Signed affidavits from three of our friends
·         Some pictures we had taken over the past years (10 pictures)

I am assuming whoever had my case was just sitting on it without even looking at it for the 7 months since my transfer. Since I had filed the eRequest and their deadline to respond was April 9, the IO simply rifled through my file and generated an RFE just to respond to the eRequest....but that is just my assumption, I will look towards other seasoned VJ members for more experience based speculation :)

In responding to the RFE, along with everything I had already sent, I am planning on sending them an IRS transcript for our last 3 years of tax returns, 3 years of bank statements, car insurance docs, utility bills (is it okay if they are in either one of our names but not both?).

How uncommon is it to not have heard anything for 8 months and then get slapped with an RFE, what can I do if I really don't have much more documentation that what I had already sent in ?

VJName............Date of I-751....NOA1 Date.....Biometrics......Approved...
QOQISHA...........07/19/13........07/23/13.......08/22/13.......(RFE received 04/10/14)(Trans from VSC 09/17/13)

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 July 2013 Filers

The main thing is the tax returns (which I hope you filed jointly). Don't sweat over the utility bills. Use a highlighter to highlight the English part of the daughter's birth certificate. Don't waste your time calling them, just send documents.

Thanks buddy!!! You are absolutely right about the tax returns, due to hubby's travels we were late to submit them, now we are finally good to go!! Regarding the birth certificate I'm sticking a post-it note to it. I want to believe that the new home makes the utility bills irrelevant...we'll see.

Lidia & JBFemaleFrance2014-02-21 00:05:00
Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 July 2013 Filers

Hi everybody,

Got a RFE today, they want additional evidence, including my daughter's birth certificate which is going to generate another RFE as it is a multilingual one (English is on the 2nd line on the header of it, but they only read the 1st line in French, I'll then call them to invite them to look at the 2nd line :) I did that like 4 times when you were going through the immigration process in France)

Here's the list of docs:

Joint bank account (got it)

Insurance policies (got it)

Utilities bill on both names (red flag, they're under hubbie's name like they've always been)

2011 and 2012 state and federal tax returns (we finally have them)

BTW we had included our new built home docs in both names in the package, we thought it would be more than enough to prove our bona fide, looks like it's not :(

Any advices/suggestions are more than welcome!!!

Does anyone know how long the wait could possibly be? I've seem some people get the green card in 2 months and others longer. I'm working on my 6th month waiting, last notice i received was a transfer notice in November i believe

I guess I'm in the same situation as you :( .... Nothing since the transfer from VSC to CSC.

I read somewhere that we can call them after 6 months, mine is Jan 20th, I hope I'll have something from them before that date.

Again - what makes you think it is going to be Stokes ? People do get interviewed for their ROC routinely and it has nothing to do with Stokes.

Sorry Kzielu, I felt I should say something about this. Nothing says it's a Stokes interview, but what about if?!!! I think we should all wish for the best and be prepared for the worst. This site's purpose is to help, support and share information. Ivriesling posts are among the most accurate ones, and he/she is a very supportive, helpful and generous person. The link he posted is very helpful to me as I always wondered what kind of questions, environment, etc I would experience if I am to be interviewed.
