I'm here catching up on posts....

What the heck is all this demoting form Post-Decision Activity to Initial Review status???? What is the problem? They need to get it together!!!

I'm wondering if a certain troll is behind this mess....he did say he had these type of powers...

No, but for real, I hope it all gets rectified very soon!

I know! You received an RFE for your daughter right? Did you correct the error yet?

On February 17, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Guys and Gals :-) USCIS has just TOUCHED me. Feels like almost a physical emotional (for sure) touch. Our case is now back from the Post Decision Activity stage to Initial Review with the following comment:

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office.

What should I think of it??? And just now, while typing this, I received both a text message and an email stating the same.

Hmm.... Let it be the good news. Please.................

I just called NVC to check if my case has arrived. It was a surprising question for an operator, he said: "So you are saying that your case was transferred from Texas Service Center?!" I said yes. He said that it's not typical for them to get cases from Texas and asked me again if I was sure. Yep, Mr. Operator, I have never been so sure in my whole life! Well, needless to say that I was also surprised and asked Mr. Operator if he was aware of 36,000 cases that had been transferred from CSC to TSC and all the mess! He said "no, ma'am!" Yes, I figured that... Back to USCIS notice from their website: "Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State's National Visa Center about these cases."

Yes, it proves fruitful!

Hello everyone....just a quick update I got approved on February 17, 2011 but I have not received any type of notification, I was told by Ms. Barrows through e-mail. I wrote an e-mail to TSC follow up and they just called me back that my case was shipped on february 18, 2011 and that I should get something by mail. I called NVC and they told me that my case just got there but it is not in their system yet. No case # yet but I'm happy its there!! Best of luck evey one. Let's keep each other posted. God Bless you all!

My dearest VJ family, who've been through, and are still on, one of the most disturbing roller coaster rides of our lives, I haven't received ANY text message or ANY email regarding the status of my case.

At 8:54PM, after having finished my cases at work from 6 this morning, I followed my usual routine- get on VJ, read up on how my friends are doing, and for the hell of it log on to the USCIS website.

My I130 and I129F cases statuses were both updated as of today.

I immediately clicked on the I130 and my eyes fell on a blue dot overlying "Post Decision Activity". Not having mailed in any wedding photos, tickets, receipts, Skype screen shots, affidavits, joint account information, etc., I feared I was in for the mother of all RFEs.

The notice reads as follows:

Post Decision Activity

On February 22, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

The notice for my I129F reads as follows:

I am so stinking mad, TSC approved my wifes case and then last friday did an RFE on my stepsons case....are they just stuped or incompetent. Now i have to wait to finish wifes case till I can get stepsons caught back up to hers. Im guessing there is no way of finding out what they want till I get the snail mail in..... :bonk:

It is surely another BS RFE, like the one we got for my daughter. They had transformed her petition into a "Alien Worker" petition, and also a birth certificate in English which they already had.

Good luck

When we filed se sent 3 affidavits, wedding pics. I think it's not a matter of enough proves. It all depends on the officer mood and level of competence. And yet again, YOU PAY FOR THAT

Hi. I don't leave with my hubby either, so I sent in the same documents you sent in. In addition, I had my friends who met, entertained, and went out with us to sign notarized affidavits that we have a bona fide marriage. So, if you at least send in two to three affidavits, you should be fine.

I've also added some pics of us with our friends in Paris (where I actually live). What else can we provided??? This is so tiring

I just received the RFE in the mail today and they want me to submit evidence to establish the marriage is bona fide. I am furious!!!!! I sent 2 dozen pictures from several different cities with me and my wife. I send cell phone bills showing all the phone calls between us. I sent my marriage certificate. What else do they need??? I am not living with my wife helloooo!! How am I suppose to have the following?

*Documentation showing joint ownership or property
*A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence
*Birth certificate of children born
*Affidavit sworn to by 3rd parties
*Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital relationship

I am not living with my wife! Helllooooooo How am I suppose to have a lease or property??? We don't have children yet! So I am now freaked out!!! I will get 2 affidavits from 2 people (relative or friends) does it matter who I get it from? What else can I include??? I thought the telephone statements and the pictures from several different trips would have been enough. I can't even prove that my marriage is bona fide! Please help people I don't know what to send.

I HATE OFFICER # XM 1117 !!!!!

Good morning CaliforniaGuy,

That's exactly the same RFE I had first. We sent 5 family, co-workers and friends' affidavits.
We got to keep the faith
