maybe some who experienced my situation would understand my feelings now. Thank you so much for the replies, i appreciate the advises you gave for me. The only thing why maybe this happened to me was i am new on internet dating i dnt have any idea about engaging in foreign relationship or in long distance relationship and im not expose in having a relationship to a guy. What i thought was it was all ok and i was very positive and trust a lot if i felt the guy seems real coz i am real too. My first experience was very unforgettable and left a scar in my whole life. Yah you were right , there is nothing i can do except to accept but i hope this would be a lesson not only to myself but also to other people.

Its my again my fella filipina yes.gif

You are welcome...thanks for appreciating our responses, its the least thing I can give as a help for now.
I can feel that you are a newbie in this digital dating and feels that you are a decent woman.
In this world....old world we can say..is a mix of bad people, good people, wise people, name it, the earth has all sorts of people.
I cannot questioned you for loving genuinely, and never regret..because at the time, at the height of your love, you did't know that it will come to a point like this...unbelievable it may seem...but ###### like this happen...and the only thing you can do for now is stand for yourself, stand for your values, stand for your dignity, rise up woman, rise up. It doesn't matter how many times we fall, but what matters are the lessons we learned each time we fall.

Next time, be cautious, especially when falling in love, if it takes to be suspicious in getting to know a person, then do so, anyway, its your self that you are protecting.

I feel sorry for what happened to you...I know that no amount of words/apologies could heal your broken heart and wounds.

First, I agree with what tallcoolone have posted.

Also, I am surprised as this is not the first time I've read this kind of story, and your story is the second, after reading your story, I recalled the first story strongly, because there are similarities... I will send you personal message, as this issue is very sensitive.

My advices:

1. Stop communicating with the guy and the girl (whoever the girl or girls is/are),
Based from your story, I know that you are truly, madly, deeply in love with your ex, but..be brave my fellow filipina, be strong. If they guy said he doesn't like any relationship, then accept. There is no other way but to accept. Reserve the remaining dignity of yourself. I know I may sound too stiff or rough, but girl..there's no other person who will help you but only you. Healing comes from within and starts from acceptance. Pray to God to help you accept things you cannot change and to give you the determination to move on.

2. (follow up from No.1) Stop communicating with the girl, as you have mentioned she doesn't reply to you. One email is enough, you already told her about the potential STD she might have and she never replied. Once is enough, two is too much, if she doesn't want to be cared about, then don't care for her. Anyway, its her body, its her life, she is also old enough to handle situations and before you care to other people, take care of yourself first, heal yourself first, physically, emotionally and the like.

3. I can say that the best thing to do for now is, continue your medications, find ways or medicines that can cure STD's, or if not cure at all, lessen it (viral/infectious), drink lots of water, sleep, love yourself, love people around you like your family, count your blessings and pray to God.

4. Though the situation as we can say is hopeless and helpless, never give up, this is a part of your life where your character is tested, never give up on life, life is a survival of the fittest remember that, don't let other people destroy your life-destroy the one and only life that God gave you. Just think that this is a phase of life you need to conquer, after 3, 5 years, who knows you might be in a better place/position.

Please my dear filipina...don't let other people abuse you, You are the only protector of your body and of your life.

Nurture the life that God gave you and we only have one life to live, so make it worth living for.

Sincerely,
Christallyne

PhilippinesNO SEXUAL CONTACT WHEN YOU GOT A SHOTS!!!!
Oh...I remembered the nurse who gave me vaccines told me not to get pregnant within the one month time frame (from the date you had your vaccines and then count 30 days), yes you can have sexual contact, just don't get pregnant. Maybe the hospital was just being super preventive to prevent being pregnant, ahha! anyways, were now on the digital age, condoms and contraceptives are available jest.gif

PhilippinesFalling for Internet date cost American P100,000
This is another case that lowers the dignity of filipinas and the whole philippines as well.
It is indeed very very saddening to hear stories about these...because of this kind of news and scams, some foreigners, if not all, already have a perception that filipinos are capable of messing around, fooling people, cheater, money maker, name it!

On the other hand.....I firmly believe that despite the bad deeds that some of our fellowmen commited, there are still filipino people who are hardworking, trustworthy and honest. Take for example, Efren Penaflorida who won the CNN's Hero of the Year.

My last words for the foreign nationals...please don't be blinded or perceive that most of the filipinos are bad...I would also like to thank foreigners out there who believe in the wife, that treated Filipinos as equal men, and not as a third world inferior country.

To my fellow filipinos who are reading this, let's make Philippines a better country by starting with ourselves, being good to humankind. If we all have good heart and set aside pride and selfishness we can make Philippines a better country, its not too late to start.

Okay, that's all for now...and hey..with the words I typed above, am not running for candidacy on the coming elections.hahahaha!

PhilippinesAIRLINE TICKET
Good day/afternoon/evening to all...

I am worried about this...me and my husband don't know the answer.

1. In the DS forms I filled out before, we answered that my port of entry is HONOLULU HAWAII, now my husband is at SACRAMENTO.

Question: Do I need to buy ticket going to honolulu because that's what is written in the forms? or going to sacramento is not a problem.

I feel that there should be not problem about it, coz for sure, there were some cases before that people were relocated and got no choice but to travel to the new address. However, I need a strong answer to back me up.Thanks a lot.

2nd Question: Is it safe to book online? I mean we will be using my husband's credit card in purchasing ticket thru Philippine Airline, at the airport, will they be asking for a copy/photocopy of husband's credit card?

I will really really appreciate your views about this issue, I'm planning to leave on Thurs Dec 17. Thanks.

This is what I did:

I had 3 folders:

1st folder-Immigration documents
2nd folder-photos
3rd folder- proof of relationship

These folders I used were the plastic folder with plastics inside about 20 plastics.

With the photos, I pasted photos on a colored construction paper, above each photo, i put on the details, date, time, venue.

Yes bring all you can. During the interview, do all your best, all your might and power.

During my interview what's on my mind is that i have to pass it, because husband over there and needs me, and with this lengthy and costly process, we really need to pass.hehe.

1. That's nice your petition is progressing. Yes you can try calling US Embassy.
This link will help you:http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhniv1.html#step3

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. PASSPORT
2. APPLICATION FEE
3. APPLICATION FORMS – Both completed application forms (DS-156 & DS-157) are needed for each person, regardless of age. All questions must be filled out with a high level of accuracy. Errors and incomplete information may result in a visa processing delay.

a) DS-156 Form – Please fill out the form online, and then print it out using an inkjet or laser printer. The printout will be three pages in length and include the two-dimensional barcode page. Make sure that the barcode is printed clearly and completely, with no lines broken or torn.

cool.gif DS-157 Form – Applicants should also complete the Nonimmigrant Visa Supplemental Application DS-157 Form. The form is provided at the bank where fees are paid. Applicants must ensure that the back of the DS-157 Form is machine-validated with check-rite. The U.S. Embassy does not validate DS-157 Forms.

Applicants whose DS-157 Form is not machine-validated by the bank with check-rite will NOT be allowed to enter the Embassy premises. The applicant will then have to book another interview appointment. Re-bookings do not require another application fee.

4. PHOTO – One 2” x 2” standard, full-frontal face position color photo against a white background taken within the last six (6) months is required. The photo must be glued or stapled to the application form where specified.

Note: The U.S. Embassy Manila also requires that both ears be showing in the photo. Please click here for additional information on photo specifications.

5. PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP (if applying with/for dependent/s)

ü Original marriage certificate printed on the Philippine National Statistics Office security paper, if applicable (if applying with a spouse and/or child)

ü Original birth certificate printed on the Philippine National Statistics Office security paper (for dependent/s)

SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT

There are two ways to book an interview appointment: through the Embassy call center or through the VisaPoint™ system.

1. Scheduling an appointment through the Embassy call center

These telephone appointment systems are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Philippine time, except Philippine holidays.

1-909-101-7878

for callers from within the Philippines

Calls made to this number cost 53 Philippine Pesos per minute, plus applicable provincial charges. This number is only for subscribers of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company touchtone landlines with national/international distance dialing features.

Or

1-888-877-9888

for callers from within the United States (mainland only).

**IF you like to schedule for an advance medical at St.Lukes, bring an email of NVC showing your case number and 2x2 photos and ballpen.

Lets pray you and your loved one will be together this Christmas.

PhilippinesVISA INTERVIEW DEC 9 2009
To everybody who congratulate me, thank you very much!!!
For those who will be upcoming interview...may the force be with you.

REMINDER: During the interview, wear a smile but not overconfident okay..don't be nervous too much, as long as your AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT is okay, it'll be smooth, please please bring photos, cards, chat logs emails, the prescreener asked them to me and later the consul browse them, so its worth it.

Once you arrived at the grounds of the embassy on the day of your interview, stay close or near the radar of the guard, so when he shouts " for 6.30AM interview" go to the line. Always be alert, have your breakfast, there's chowking 24 hrs just around the corner. Bring ballpen black.

If not needed, just leave your cellphone at the hotel or your companion outside, coz they dont let us use the baggage counter of US embassy for applicants. There are fixers outside and will tell you that you can leave to them your cellphones, CAREFUL! they charge ONE HUNDRED PESOS PER ITEM, so if you leave them 1 cellphone and 1 IPOD that costs 200 HUNDRED already, so don't bring any electronic gadget.

Also, don't bring any liquids, there is a store inside the embassy, while you wait you can buy and eat, its not expensive but higher than the standard selling price, they have softdrinks, juices, breads, crackers. There is also a TV so you will not be bored, there is also a kiddie corner, some charts.

And lastly, pray and pray, God knows our hearts desires.

TO LADY AA thanks very much for everything. She's the kindest lady I've known here.

1. check baggage, i suggest dont bring bag or phone, just your docs, its faster
2. walk straight turn left then turn right
3. you will see 2 counters giving you, your number, keep it (that's the 6002 my number)
4. waited for 30 mins, then you will be called by pre screener, asked for photos and evidences, pre screener talks filipino
5. waited for 30 mins, finger scanning
6. waited for 40 mins, consul interview

this was it:

lyn: he works for the US airforce sir as aircraft technician
consul: do you know his rank?
lyn: no sir, but he recently got promoted, its just his 2nd year! kicking.gif
consul: thats great, oh i got your affidavit of support
consul : (browsing photos....) are you wearing your wedding ring?
lyn: yes sir, im very proud! kicking.gif

lyn: thank you sir! this is the best christmas gift of all time! laughing.gif
lyn: sir, just one more thing..can i pick up my visa....? pls
consul: oh you like to pick up your visa? but it'll take 1 or 2 days, so just wait at home, we use a very reliable courier.
lyn: okay sir, have a great day today no0pb.gif

So in order NOT to be kicked while you are down....most will post only good and happy results....

great news! i want to share this to others who wants to re schedule their interview date

i asked my husband to email manila embassy last november 16, 2009 and got the reply today :

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 16, 2009, regarding the immigrant visa case of the referenced individual. We have referred your message to the responsible processing team for appropriate action.

We have not received the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved petitions filed on behalf of the applicants. The case is presently with the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) which schedules immigrant visa cases for us. We expect to receive the case file shortly. The applicant has been rescheduled for a visa interview on December 1, 2009. At that time, a consular officer will determine if he is eligible for a visa.

so try to email embassy now! and hope for an earlier date...my original date was december 10 and now it moved to december 1!

thanks God

Hello, I emailed US embassy last night and hoping and wishing that they can reschedule me for an earlier appointment and based from their reply..I guess no more slots for earlier sked..here's their response....just sharing...

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 22, 2009, regarding the immigrant visa case of the referenced individual. We have referred your message to the responsible processing team for appropriate action.

We have not received the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved petition filed on behalf of the applicant. We understand that the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) forwarded the case to us on November 20, 2009. We expect to receive the case file shortly. The applicant has been scheduled for a visa interview on December 9, 2009.

The applicant should contact the Embassy's Visa Call Center at telephone 1-909-101-7878 to reschedule the visa interview date. The Call Center number is for subscribers of PLDT and Smart telephone touchtone landlines with national and international distance dialing features (NDD or IDD access). There is a fee assessed to callers by the Call Center for its services.

The applicant need not wait for the hard copy of the appointment letter and can download the visa appointment packet and forms from our website at http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html. The applicant should follow all interview preparation instructions for visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website. The instructions contained at the website will provide the applicant with the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

If you would like to inquire further about the status of the visa case, you may contact the Embassy's Visa Call Center.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

PhilippinesNO CLUE WHATS GOING ON!
Hello I've seen your post and how are you na?

Before I give my advice, here is my question...did you marry him already?

Girl, I'm feelin' you, be strong, be very strong, there's no one to turn to, except yourself...
be very strong, I know its very painful to be in that situation pero you have to be strong.

Think this:

1. Mind over matter, kung ganyan na ang situation, just use your brain nalang and set aside the heart
remember that because of him, you are at the USA and madami jan ang gusto pumunta ng amerka
but wala pera or no means, so hard for them, pero ikaw nakapunta ka ng dahil sa lalaki na iyan,
look at the brighter side of things, if after confronting him, still ganoon parin sya, let him be,
ang importante sa mga papeles ikaw ang legal wife, stand up for yourself and for your family,
continue the process, get SSN, get drivers license, get a good a job, and when you are financially ready
and he still continue to do those ###### to you, well leave him! you dont deserve it, but before doing that,
talk to him heart to heart, ask him what are the things you can improve on and tell him right onto his face
that he is now a married man, that respect should always be there, there is no love when there is no respect.
be strong and pray.

1. Yes you must attend the seminar. I am a CR1 too and I had my advance interview last November 26, 2009. My interview will be on December 9, 2009.

2. I had my seminar at:
St. Mary's Integrated Development Foundation. Inc.
Center for Overseas Workers
1043 Aurora Blvd. Cubao,QC.

How to get there:

Fare: 12php

If you are coming from the north, take the bus going to Cubao, then stop at the cubao terminal, I rode Dagupan Liner and stopped at its terminal. Then take the MRT going to Katipunan, exit at the right side, then when you're already outside the station, walk towards the right side, take 10-15 steps (hehe) and you will see the gate of St. Mary's.

Procedure:

1. Register on the logbook (Name and signature) then they will give you a form to answer.

2. Then pay 250php for the seminar.

3. picture taking- the cashier will take a photo of you, using her webcam, so be sure to look nice. (hehe)

4. Proceed to the 2nd floor for the film viewing. Turn right and you will see a big room with sliding doors.
Room is a bit cold but nice..not very cold..hehe..
Ms. Pat is the one who gave us the orientation/briefing. She is very very good, kind and accomodating.
During the seminar, she will give you advices about marriage, on how to be humble and giving in a relationship =)
They will also give you a leaflet about things to bring, prepare on your flight etc. After that, its time for the film
viewing, "Magandang Gabi Bayan by Kabayan Noli de Castro."

5. After that, the counselor will talk about what you have seen, then one on one counselling, they will ask you some questions about your petitioner while checking on the forms that you've signed

a. complete name of petitioner, so be sure to know his middle name
b. petitioner's date of birth
c. date of your first meeting
d. how many times he visited you

6. After that, you will go to the first floor and ask you to photocopy some pages, (forms you signed in), each photocopy costs 3 pesos, but no choice but to do it...hehe...

7. Then go back to the counter again, then they will print out the certificate.

8. Proceed to the CFO, the small building at the back, its on 2nd floor, and you will see a door on the right, just enter and you will see two employees...the first employee her table is located near the door and the other employee a gentleman.

The man will ask for your passport, the 2nd forms that you've filled up and then pay 400 pesos. he will ask you to sign at the bottom of a page of the form. Then he will hand your forms to the other lady in the room. Since, my seminar is advance, I will just go back once I have my visa and get the sticker, which they will put on my passport.

**I arrived at the seminar, 9:30am and finished everything at 12 noon.

From the experience, all the employees are really nice, friendly and efficient.

You will only need:

Maiden Name of the mother of your Fiance/Husband
3 photocopies of your Passport
3 photocopies of your Visa (if available)
and then the fees of 250 pesos
and 400 pesos.

After the interview:if without visa yet. You should have with you the certificates and attendance (colors:blue and green)

WARNING: YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND THE SEMINAR.IT IS MANDATORY.

For me, the seminar was indeed helpful as it tackled different issues faced by filipinas abroad, not only filipinas but people who are new in a certain country and one is culture shock. So the seminar in a way, told us what to expect when arriving in a foreign country.

Philippinesi'm just wondering.. give ur comment about this
hi,

im just wondering which is more advisable thing to do i will let my fiance call the USEM to set an interview appointment for me or il be the one to call them? I just notice that wen the beneficiary is the one who cols for their appointment, the customer service in USEM will gona ask if we already received the confirmation letter from them and once they found out that we havent have that yet, they will automatically tell us "that we just call them after 2 weeks." crying.gif

and i also noticed that once the USC or the fiance from the US is the one calling them they will automatically entertain our fiance n give an interview appointment without any hesitation as long as the USEM received the hard copy already even without the confirmation letter yet . give me ur insights about this thing so i know wat to do...

oh yah dis is my case
NVC sent it june 18 and the consulate received it last june 23 9am in the morning ( i track it thru DHL)

what is the best date to call dem? or im just gonna follow der policy which is wait until my confirmation arrived and one more thing they cudnt even tell me if i they have received our papers .good thing we can trace it thru DHL! good.gif

any comments or suggestion will be greatly appreciated

tnx!
