My husband received today the letter from Uscis telling him our file was transfered on Nov 12 to California, but the website still shows our case is pending in Vermont, no updates so far...

As you, now I can have some exciment too....

I hope all of us that we are waiting to be with our loved, get approval soon..

You must be psychic. I just got home from work and opened my letter from USCIS to see that I was indeed transferred to CSC. And my transfer date is 11/06. Then I just opened your spreadsheet and you have me on there already for 11/06. good.gif

I dint't get any touches, in fact nothing changed on my portfolio. it still shows 4/11/2008 and says pending in Vsc. I was thinking it might take some time to change since they had problems with their computers.

Thats werid. Your NOA1 date is same as mine. I wonder why there have been touches on my case everyday after the transfer... innocent.gif

i m a US citizen originally from pakistan. Pretty soon i will be getting marry. The girl is in pakistan. And i am getting marry to her over the phone and then file her petition. Do u guys think that it will cause me any trouble getting her case approved since we will be getting marry over the phone? Will it cause any complications in the interview process?

I assume you are already married and one of you is the USC. In that case, the USC has to register the birth with the embassy where the child is born and get him/her a passport. If you are not going for dual citizenship, you will also need to get the child a residence visa in that country.

If neither of you are USCs, then you will probably have to file for the child, but don't take my word for that.

The letter sent to me by NVC stated my complete maiden name. But i'm already using my married name since January 2011 after NSO released our CEMAR. All my documents including my passport is already in my married name.(my husband used my married name when he applied for I-130 in USCIS).

1. Which of the two names I am going to follow?
2. Which signature am I going to put in my DS 3032 form?
3. Is it okay for me to just send the DS 3032 form via e-mail? If yes, how about the signature needed in
the form?

Please help...please........


He applied for you with your married name, so I would use that with the marriage certificate as proof of name change.
