through this site http://www.travel.st...c/nvc_1335.html look for online payment click on it, and then click again for online fee payment, you can see Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center,sign in your nvc case number and your invoice i.d number, if you can still see your payment status as "paid" meaning your case is still on the nvc and still on process (or under review again **sigh**pending), if you can't sign in and it respond as 'sign in failed' meaning that your case is closed(or finished) already at the nvc and already forwarded to the respective u.s embassy of country where your hubby live, and after SIF, the CC (case complete) will be follow and then schedule for interview and med.exam.

Correct, however as soon as child enters the USA on the IR-2/CR-2 visa, at this point father can file an N-600 and claim US citizenship.

Do you mean that in order to get the citizenship for the baby, the father should be a UC on the same day the baby was born ??

Hi to all,

My friend is asking for help, she is married to a UC and he s filling the I130 for her, her husband got the US citizenship last juin, and they have a baby who was born 2 yrs ago from the date he had his citizenship, exatly on October 2008, can the father still fill for his baby to get the american passport or is it too late now and had to do the I130 for the baby too..?

What is going on?

did u get transfered to TSC like many of Juin/July filers? coz all those filers are in the situation till now, TSC and CSC dont provide any convinient information about what might be the probelem of that delay. My 5 months mark is today and i filled on July and still havent heard from them, my last update was 11/24.

Case Number on Documents

Hi everybody,

I read that while taking the step to the NVC and submitting the documents for that part, people say to write the Case Number on all documents submitted, my question is that do we need to write the CN on each document(Pictures, Birth Certificat, Marriage Certificat,....) we submit or just on the forms we ll be filling (DS230,DS2030,I864,...)???

What form to fill out I-864 or I-864A ??

To correct you, the beneficiary does not complete an I-864 unless her income is also being used (which is only possible if the income will continue.. so the OP can't)

To correct you, the husband is the USC, as you said. He would complete an I-864, and not an I-864A. The friend will also fill in an I-864 as the OP stated the friend owns his own house.

Exactamundo! If the joint-sponsor IS a household member (such as a relative that lives under the same roof, or someone the I-864 sponsor claims as a dependant in their tax returns) then they complete an I-864A. In this case, the joint-sponsor being a friend, he isn't eligible for an I-864A unless they are claimed as a dependant by the USC.

Remember that both your husband and the joint-sponsor must include tax information and other supporting documentation.

Ummmmm...I believe the OP is the beneficiary, so she will not need to fill anything out. Her husband, will fill out I-864A, and the co-sponsor would fill out I-864.

Filipinawife0210 my husband doesnt pay lots of taxes thats why his friend will sponsor me, so will my husband still be filling out the I-864A.

i believe, from what i read here on VJ, that a cosponsor is needed when the main sponsor doesnt match the minimum required of tax range, but in my case is different my husband isnt going to sponsor me, his friend will do that.

I hope i made this clear now, so what forms do we have to fill all the 3 of us ??

A friend of my husband is going to sponsor me and i would like to know what forms should he be filling out for me besides all documents he ll have to submit for the sponsorship.

He is a US citezen and has his own house. I wanna know if ill be filling out any sponsoring forms from my side too ?

as soon as you get their automated voice mail choose English as the language you want and then hit *1 this will take you straight through to customer service, then you will have to listen to their STUFF.....which will be a total waste of your time.....when they are done, tell them you need to speak with an officer or a level 2 person. open a service request immediately if you don't have one already. I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the way this whole Texas thing is being handled. We have been totally screwed for time I am certain. Gary and I have been approved for EXPEDITE and the 23rd is our five month date. THis is giving me an ulcer. Good luck to you.

I got another touch today. However, it does not show the previous touches in the USCIS wbsites. God, why is it taking so long to get approved? I am feeling like I am in roller coster. No updates in my case yet, just a touch. I demand approval for all July filers. July month is a lucky 7, it was supposed to be lucky month. Let's hope we get approval within this week.

Why would you think anything else as if it could be bad or not .
First of all if you know anything about the USCIS. You would
more than consider the transfer a good sign not MAYBE BAD.

USCIS could have left all of us waiting for the CSC and just
leave us back logged us even more farther back than they are now.
I take USCIS doesn't want a more back up back log than there
already is.
I would think in a more positive way that they did US a favor
moving us so the USCIS gets all of us done in the 5 month
stated they should be.

SO I take for all here to see this a good sign. It should
be less than 60 days until approval for those NOA-1 dated of
August 10th earlier.

Now let's see if what I says holds true.
I have no probelms with USCIS doing right for us, not make
it worse. I welcome anybody else comments I dont worry I'm
fair to let them do the work and when it's time they will
do it and you'll get approved.

Post Decision Activity On January 13, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

We ARE APPROVED!!!!!
