Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Administrative processing Morocco consulate please share experiences

There is a difference between the two but many times they refer to them with the same terms. The best way to find out which is being conducted a local (AP) or DC (AR) check is to call and ask DOS. In your case you can do an inquiry to find out the status as it has been way over 60 days since you went to AP. Also consider getting your senator or congressman involved.

Good luck and hope you hear something soon.

thank you :)

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)section 221g long delays
I wish good times for everybody
I, Hicham Mohamed Ezzaroualy am Moroccan of nationality of 25 years where I was born in Casablanca in 1982, I Just had my degree in Linguistic from the University of Misturata Faculty Literature English Department, Misurata, Libya where I am living with my family there more than 17 years ago.

Lois Ann Rosenquist Brum has been my wife since 27 January 2006. she is a U.S. citizen where she was born in Fort Bragg, NC. Her father served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, she is a Bookkeeper for Colorado Outdoor Power Equipment.

Lu and I met on the Internet in May of 2003 and began to exchange email, chat on line, and just discuss the crisis of the world today. my first initial conversations was to inform her that not all Arabs or Muslims were terrorist. Lu and I developed a friendship through our conversations. We talked about a number of things that interested us both and we fall in love.

On 25 October 2003, I proposed marriage, which was quite a shocking surprise and requested several weeks for her to think about this wonderful proposal. At the end of the allotted time, she gave me her answer and said YES.

Lu and I discussed many things: We talk about building a life together and as time passed the love continued to grow. We corresponded through emails, instant messages, and photographs, handwritten letters.

Towards the end of 2004, we started talking about plans for our marriage. She filed I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé (e). On page 2: Question 18: Has you Fiancé (e) met or seen you? She had written a description of circumstances of why we had not met, which were the following:
1. Hicham Ezzaroualy was a student in Misurata, Libya and a Moroccan National.
2. For an American access for entry was by invitation of a Libya national only. Hicham nationality is Moroccan.
3. The relations with Libya and the USA were undesirable and my safety was of great concern to Hicham.
The information of the denial and returned I-129F Petition consisted to no physical meeting of each other.

In 2005, we preceded the process to meet and marry in Morocco. She arrived in Mohamed V Airport on 6 January 2006, we followed all the proper procedures of papers that she need for us to marry. she had copies of the two divorces, her background check, birth certificate, and I had all papers translate into Arabic as required my Law. It took a good couple of weeks to follow all the proper steps for the paper work to be completed. Then we were married on 27 January 2006.

When my wife returned to U.S.A on 1 February 2006, She started with filling the I-130, filed April 4, 2006 as the PRIORITY DATE and the RECEIPT DATE: April 12, 2006. The I-130 NOTICE TYPE: APPROVAL NOTICE SECTION: HUSBAND OR WIFE OF U.S. CITIZEN, 201 (cool.gif INA. Once she received this notice of the Received date of April 4, 2006, she filed the I-129F RECEIVED DATE: MAY 12, 2006 and the NOTICE DATE: MAY 17, 2006. NOTICE TYPE: APPROVAL NOTICE VALID FROM 08/02/2006 TI 11/30/2006 CONSULATE: CASABLANCA

I arrived for my appointment for the interview on October 5, 2006. it was more of an interrogation instead of an interview for a visa. Out of all those for interview for visas I was the only one interrogated for five and a half (5.5 hours). I was asking the CO time to time to have some rest because I was too much stressed and under great pressure due to the silly questions that CO was asking me and repeat the same questions all the times and for me I had to repeat the answers every time. I am stating to the best of my knowledge.

The information CO told me that my visa was illegible due to section 221(g) and they were returning the packet to the United States.

we contacted the Embassy in Morocco on November 15, 2006 by E-mail inquiring about this Section 221 (g); but they informed us that our inquiry should be directed to the USCIS Since then, My wife have made numerous phone calls to the USCIS but we only been beating death horse. And all we heard from CSC is to call after 45 days or 90 days.

God !! It is now more than 10 months and we are still waiting for the reason of section 221g and waiting for the document or evidence that they may need but we hear nothing from USCIS.
Guys I need your help to know something, these long time process really makes me and my wife in great sorrow! I have only 35 days more to reach 11 months of waiting, and for section 221g you have only 11 months to present what they asked you for otherwise your petitions will be expired and you need to re-apply again. I wonder if there is ability to extend our petitions since we heard nothing back from the USCIS .
Guys we are really appreciate for your help and notes, and let me tell you that my wife had an accident in her car and she may went into a surgery of her right knee replacement.
Please once again I am trusting of Visa journey society to offer us some ideas.
Respectfully,
Hicham

There are many documents that need to be sent in with the DS-230.

* BARCODED Cover Sheet (to be printed from web when your status is PAID online for IV bill)

* You OWN cover sheet listing what documents are in the package, so they're easy for the reviewer to locate

* Completed DS-230 part I & II and ONLY part I signed by beneficiary (with 2 passport appropriate photographs)

* Photocopy of the beneficiary's passport biographic data page.

* Original/certified copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate.

* Original/certified copy of beneficiary’s and petitioner’s marriage certificate.

* Original police certificates of the beneficiary.

* Original/certified copy of military record, if applicable.

* Original/certified copy of divorce decree, death certificate, etc. of previous marriage, if applicable.

My husband filled the I130 in october and it got approved in March 21st it's more than 4 months , we got advice from a friend who is a lawyer that it's better not to call them as it may cause more delay I don't know how !!
I read on the website that they hire some people because of the increase of cases , so I hope you can hear some good news very soon smile.gif

What service center did you filed at?If you filed at Vermont, no wander that they approved your I-130 only because they haven't approved any I-129F for K3 lately.Once I-130 is approved it is sent to National visa center for further processing. It stays there for 4 months approximately (maybe less, maybe more) and then it goes to consulate. The result is CR-1 visa, you get conditional green card for 2 years and you can work as soon as you arrive to the US- you don't have to file for work permission or adjustment of status(with K3 you have to do all that).CR-1 takes longer but the outcome is much better.

And fill in your timeline please!!!

Hello,
Thank you for the information
The service center is Vermont one. So they will not approve the I129?
What kind of medical exam I am supposed to have?

Why would anyone disfigure someone like this?
Suppose the only ones that will offer marriage in jail to her will be the lesbians.
I would think everyone would be afraid of her.
I was married 22 years and got a divorce not a knife. No one is worth going to jail over. And it amzes me that people do not respect life these days.
Leave and leave well enough alone.

USCIS Service Centersshutdown and greencards
Immigration is not affected by shutdown. It is not funded by taxpayer money.
So. they keep working. I got this straight from my attorney

Hi all,

I just sent my wifes greencard to get her last name changed to mine. I didn't know if anyone knows if this shutdown will affect this aspect of immigration and what (if anything) I can do. Thanks.

Brian

I asked my attornney and immigration is not funded with taxpayer money so it is not affected.

Actually you did express an opinion, since you are taking what you read here in another forum and saying it is "facts from the horse's mouth." I have not seen any post on this forum, or any news article or release that comes directly from a USCIS representative that is qualified to answer the question, What will happen in a government shut down? All I have seen is someone claiming they talked to a USCIS employee that said that person would not be reporting to work.
The reality is no person on this forum knows what will happen in regards to immigration issues until it actaully happens.

You are just being a hippocrit to condemn another persons post and then doing the exact thing you condemned, namely expressing heresay and opinion as fact.

But remember, old files are stored you know where, in basements, that means my 25 pound RFE from my first application with all the proof is gone. And we went to Italian embassy, and all over for our affivadits. What really worries me is the information is personal and has all our vital statitics. What is it is damaged, how can they guarantee us no one will see any of the papers? How can you shred water soacked documents?
