WHAT??? How come others were able to be accomodated even just after a few weeks after RFE... maybe you got hold of somebody who is having premenstrual syndrome or on his menopausal stage or if it was male, he was having andopausal syndrome.

I feel for you.. i hope those who have been through RFE and was just approved could give you tips when and how to call.

BTW, I forgot to ask, are you the USC or the foreign beneficiary? I have heard that USCIS are less accomodating if the call comes from foreign beneficiary.... If you are the USC, I hope you would try calling again until you get hold of a more pleasant person... just remember, they maybe working with the USCIS but it is our application fee that gives them salary.

Stay strong and keep the faith... I do hope and pray that you would hear some good news soon.

It depends on the date on your NOA1. If it is December and your hard copy was mailed only in two months, it means that you are still considered to be December filer. But if your NOA1 is dated February 4… sorry to say but most likely you will be getting NOA2 together with February filers sad.gif .
We sent the petition to CSC on October 16 but our NOA1 is dated December 19 (we got it after my fiancé called there a couple of times mad.gif ). We've got the confirmation from UPS that the package was delivered to CSC on October 18, BUT the receive date on NOA1 is December 17 and the notice date is December 19. I guess, our petition was just gathering dust on the shelf for those two months until they finally bothered to find it after my fiancé’s call. So, even though we are #9 on Igor's list, we are definitely considered to be December filers and we are still waiting for NOA2.

Well it helps to read that i am not the only one in the black hole between CSC and the NVC. My plan is to call the NVC every day or so to see if there is any change. My NOA2 was approved June 19th, where the heck did my petition go!!!!


I thought the time that it took for my approved petition to get from the CSC to the NVC was ridiculous, and it was. But, your situation is even more ridiculous. If I were you, I would be getting my Congressman's office and/or Senator's office looking into this for you. That's what I did. I don't know if it was just coincidence (kind of doubt that), but my petition showed up at the NVC right after they began inquiring to the CSC.

i just notice that you got ur NVC case number, Congratulations:) that is good news, did u get ur congressman inquiring about ur case ? we contacted the congresman office too, they told us that they'll call back but they didnt. we realy frustrated we dont know where our package is noone could give us an answer , in 4 days it'll be 2 Months since we got our NOA2. i hope this wont happen for thiose waiting recently for their case NVC number.Good luck to evrybody and i wish you Don E , a speedy successful process.Thanks

I agree that you most definitely should be contacting your Congressman's or Senator's office. I'm sure each office has it's own policy for dealing with these types of issues. I would strongly suggest that you visit, in person, your elected federal representative's office. You can call their office and find out if you need to schedule an appointment or just show up.
