I have not come across anybody who have rfe regarding police records yet... but I think if it is not some major crime and if it has been dropped or cleared I think you will be fine. you just need to have a heart to heart and honest talk with your fiance. You do deserve to know everything, especially a significant thing like previous case dropped or not... this process is already stressful enough, so there should be no added surprises along the way for the both of you. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Explanation letter	I would make this an affidavit and have signature witness by notarty. Free notary at your bank. You do need healthe insurance so say you are looking into the Obama Care program.   format for doing an affidavit is online. I am 192 days into my last application for K-3. and i am at Missouri. this is the only agency that does not depend on the government budget. It is fully funded by our fees, so they can not really have any excuses. Philippines	Which day of the week is better for traveling?	It used to be Wednesday and Thursday are best days for ticket prices. Now, it is only Wednesday. Fridays and Mondays are expensive as many plan long weekend get aways and/or travel for business those days. Also watch the calendar for Holidays in both countries. I put a post on traveling and saving in the forum under other topics as i am booking my 4th flight. I found 3 travel agents and online prices from $1351 to over $2000 economy. And i finally worked the system and got a fare for $1017. Watch when changing several times in other countries, as it may look like cheaper ticket but when you add in the country's taxes, it comes out more. Hope this helps. Philippines	She's been here for 1.5 months now.	Good to hear this as it is hard to read of the bad experiences and still have hope. I fly over next month for his interview. We have been married 15 months now and I need him in the US. continue your good life and congratulations to you. Well, it's been 1.5 months since I've posted here and since my fiancee and her daughter arrived in the US. Yes. She lied to me. She said she was not a good cook, but that completely untrue. I love her cooking. I have to say, things could not be better. Way better than I ever imagined. Her and her daughter are great. We are more in love now than ever before. Everyone has adjusted so well. We have done so many fun things like fishing, camping, hiking, crabbing, 4 wheeling, gardening, traveling, and shopping. Philippines	Please help..	I assume your son has a passport and his father gave permission for it. but you did not say. If you get visa for him and you, you could wait till he turns 18 as you say this year, and travel then. You could even say in interview that you desire this. I can only run to VJ after praying to the Heavenly Father for mercy and guidance..so please advice, as I am so tensed about our situation. My son is turning 18 this year. After a surviving the tale of our petition being transferred to the Texas Service Center blackhole, we are finally scheduled to have the interview on July 1. Up to this time, the biological father has refused to sign the consent allowing my child to go. My son is willing to come with me. I have been trying to ask for the consent for the longest time, and was told he will, but I am always given the run-around. I am planning to just go ahead and take my son with me ( with a positive mind that we will pass the interview). I don't know if there was ever a case wherein the immigrations in the Philippines did not let a 17 year old board the plane with his mother with him.
