IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	Hmmm...that's odd.  We were told by USCIS to do the DS-230 in some of our paperwork, but now they want us to do the DS-260.  LOL..typical...things are not even consistent coming from them.  The DS-260 and 261 are the online ones.  So, just do what they told you to do.  As far as if he is receiving the money, then she probably does need to list him as a co-sponsor, at least that's what I understand from reading the paperwork... well i know they have to fill out i-864a because they are combining income but not for sure if that makes him a joint sponsor or not? i emailed nvc to ask them but no response yet just trying to make sure we got everything together i hate this process lol	luvwillprevail	Female	Egypt	2013-11-01 16:41:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	k.dlg, exactly....and the fastest that it can happen will not be fast enough, right?  Totally how I feel.  Hubby keeps telling me to keep a stiff upper lip, so to speak...and I'm tryyyyyying.  I'm sure you understand!    He will be interviewing in Amsterdam.  I'm really hoping they'll just be really fast.  So far, though...Amsterdam has been ridiculously slow in getting him things.  The police certificates took almost 5 weeks.  I'm going to just hope things go quickly anyway!!!  Is your hubby interviewing in London?  Do you know how they are?     Hey Luv!  Yay...December isn't too far away!  So let me try to answer you here...   1.  NVC communicates via email on only a few items, unless you're in a specific group of countries.  (http://travel.state..../visa_5162.html)  Egypt doesn't appear to be one of them.  So, most likely, you'll be doing this via the regular mail.  (I'd recommend using FedEx or something to be SURE everything gets to NVC.)   2.  I'm not 100% sure, but, as I understand it...this is my best answer: she could list the income as her income if she receives the payments.  However, if the payments are made TO the son, then he would probably be considered a co-sponsor.  The thing is...if he's disabled, maybe he can't be, legally speaking--he may not have the "ability" to make such a judgment...if you know what I mean.  If you want to message me privately, if you have more info...then I can try to help you out.  I do know what you mean about that form--it is VERY confusing.  I had to spend 2+ hours on it and redid it and spent another 3 hours fixing it....never had such trouble with a form...   3.  Take most of the stuff with you, but leave him with one copy of your marriage certificate.  You also need one to send in to NVC.  Read this for help on what you will need to send:  http://www.visajourn...p/EZGuideSpouse  ... also, have him fill out the DS-230 with you and bring the signed and unsigned parts WITH you so that you can send them all in from here...that form is a pill, so, I'd do it now and get it out of the way...You can't save it and you have to do it on a PDF.  You also can't write on it.   4.  Everything that is not in English MUST be translated.  Don't send it in without a translation or you will get a checklist, which will only delay you.  You can have your husband do it if he is fluent in English and Arabic (and any other languages that the documents may be in)...is he?  If he is, you can have him do the certification himself and they will accept it, which is cool.  I can send you a link to that if you need the text.  I asked the same question about whether I have to send another copy of the translation and the answer is YES...another copy, but you can just use the translation you already sent.  But, they do want originals of everything now....which is a pain.     Do not worry--the questions you are asking are all reasonable and fair.  I asked all of them in the NVC forums.  You should join us there, actually.  They'll be posting a new one for November...as soon as it's posted, I'll post the link to invite you.  (No point in joining October, I don't think, since it's ending tomorrow...)       Hope this is helpful.  Please ask away.  You can also message me if you want.  =)	luvwillprevail	Female	Egypt	2013-10-31 10:28:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	hey jen hey blu how are you two i hope you are hanging in there and trying not to stress as i am trying also lol i dont know how i would submit evidence to them other then send them video i have of the demonstations i have encountered out my window. i just explain my situation and i would hope they watch the news as things have gotten scary again over the weekend and people have lost their lives trying to celebrate its just crazy how a celebration can turn so violent and to the person who commented people who request a expedite are jumping the line we are not trying to jump in front of anyone and not at others expense either we all pay a fee for this journey like jen said some people are in unsafe areas (as you should know you are in stockton california 30 miles from where i live.. there are some crazy people in that town and you should move just some advice) and need help faster than others and have to try anything they can to get out of it and requesting doesnt mean we will get it either..i am still waiting but hey are sending a letter to NBC requesting our case be expedited so i hope that does happen as i dont want to leave my husband here in this violent situation.	luvwillprevail	Female	Egypt	2013-10-08 05:45:00

I hope they help us and can get this moving along a little faster     Greetings Mrs. Saad,   Congressman Denham and I have received the privacy release form forwarded to us by Congressman McClintock?s office.   Since you are within Congressman Denham?s district, we are happy to assist you.   I have read the situation and have some questions.   USCIS has certain criteria that must be met in order for an expedite to be considered and granted. You mention humanitarian grounds. It would be beneficial to your argument if you were able to provide additional evidence supporting your claim. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	I am glad u ask that blueberry i was about to post about my expedite as i hear they dont expedite for that reason and also i have read they might deny just because they think someone got pregnant just for the expedite...trust me that is not the case lol yes we were trying but that is only because i am not getting any younger here lol i am 38 and my husband doesnt have any kids i have 4 so if it wasnt for him i def wouldnt be pregnant lol.. I actually just ask for it on humanitariun grounds due the the political and governmental situation and the onging protests of the muslim brotherhood and fearing for our safety. My husband is unable to find work because of this and our quality of life has diminished severely. i wonder if i should have told them i was pregnant now or not if that would have helped us but i dont want to get denied since that is not one of the grounds to get expedite also after the request they give you a confirmation number and said i have a target date as of Oct 1st to call back..I am also writing my 2 senators and congressmen i am going to fax it to them so i will let them know i am expecting but before i do go to doctor and get proof to fax that also.	luvwillprevail	Female	Egypt	2013-09-26 13:08:00
