IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	So everyone is complaining that this thread is so quiet today  so I thought I would make some noise..   FINALLY.... they accepted my corrected AOS and removed the Police certificate requirement. Now all I am waiting for is the supervisor to clear the birth cert.   I was told by the supervisor to call back Wednesday  night... so now I wait... and for extra insurance.... a certified copy of the birth cert will be delivered tomorrow morning.    I'm so close I can taste it..    So how's that for some noise?????? coolllllll great !!! wish you will get CC on wednesday. will pray for you a lot. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	Sooo, checklisted!  at 1:12 a.m. Friday night! lol I'm pretty sure it's a false one and would like to share it here for confirmation on that...I think it means the AOS has been reviewed and accepted as it was sent to my husband, the petitioner.  or does it mean the DS260 was reviewed and accepted?:   The only confusing part for me is it's called (Checklist Cover Letter)...does that show up on everyone's checklist? see bottom of post for copy of page 2 of this checklist letter.   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________ When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the address provided. PLEASE NOTE: No interview will be scheduled until ALL of the information requested has been returned to the National Visa Center. ______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________ The National Visa Center received your DS-260 form. Follow the directions on www.immigrantvisas.state.gov to correctly scan and submit forms and documents.   i got the same one . so i called NVC and they said just discard it. it sent because my AOS is accepted. for DS 260, i am not sure . i called NVC 2 times and they both said they will review DS 260 when they review IV package.. so finger crossed....... to get CC very soon hopefully next wee friday... how do you think?? you and i have almost same timeline.. pray for you too. good luck. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	ok guys... i might be the last call in NVC tonight. i just talked to guy  he said he received my IV package on april 21 ( that i already knew ). but he said he still NOT review my DS 260 which i submitted on april 9th. is this normal? they said they will only review DS 260 while they open my IV package . they don't open that package yet and tell me to wait ... so how do i find out myDS 260 accepted or not??? some VJer said their DS 260 has been accepted and they knew by calling NVC.. should i call again tomorrow??? NVC sent my package 4 to Rangoon embassy since thursday. it show in transit. but still now, it is in transit. i want to know where it is now. please..... my consulate is Burma, rangoon. hummmm. thanks a lot. i used the way some people mentioned above. dhl-express- seller tracking reference. but it shows nothing.. i have no idea why. My mom case has been completed at NVC and they said they are currently waiting for interview scheduling with Rangoon . So can you tell me how long it usually take to get interview appointment ? I am planing to come down and accompany to my mom at interview . Can I do like that? If I can come along with my mom interview , what kind of paper work should I do with you to do in advance ? Thank you very much 2 hours ago Once we receive the case from NVC, we will contact your mother to give her additional instructions on how to schedule a medical examination, as well as a few additional forms to complete. We will also advise her of any missing documents that will be necessary to process her case. Once we have received all the required documents and medical exam results from the clinic, we will schedule your mother for an interview. If all the documentation is complete, it usually takes a couple weeks from the time we give the instructions to the interview date, but may take longer if there are any missing forms or issues with the medical exam. It is not necessary for you to accompany your mother to the interview. Generally we do not allow any individuals except for visa applicants into the waiting room. Don't worry, our consular officers speak Burmese, and we have Burmese staff available to translate if your mother has trouble understanding. The interview lasts only a few minutes, and if approved, the visa will be ready the next business day in the afternoon.
