K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I really wish CSC would stick to '1st come 1st serve'	I know what you mean! Everytime I check that stupid case progress page I see the same horrible date: 12/9/2006. I'm really beinging to hate that date! Like I said, I know I shouldnt really be complaining, but everyday more approvals, and everyday there's nothing for us - no touch, no nothing .. it's very depressing. Honestly, I didn't expect to get our approval that quickly. We're anticipating a mid-March or later date, that's why I was so surprised to see that we did get approved. I got tired of checking our status at USCIS website for over two months, so when somebody announced that he got approved - with NOA1 date of 12/15/2006 - I hurriedly checked ours and there it was, a notice of approval was sent, as they said. We're so darn lucky that we didn't have to wait too long and at the same time, feeling bad that we had to pass those who filed ahead of us. All I can is good luck to the rest of you... He is 22 years Younger than Me !!!! But I truly love him soooooooo much !!!!' Does any one see why this would be a barrier to us getting married ? Thanks for all you do here !! My fiancee's 62, I'm 28... he got married thrice so that would make me his 4th wife... Our case got approved at USCIS and I'm very positive that we won't have any problem on my interview as long as we can prove that what we have is genuine and we love each other more than anyone can imagine... On February 28, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. Man, itt feels soooo good!!!I can't wait to tell me fiance!!He's sleeping , but I'm going to wake him up Good luck for you all!!! My fiance is at this moment in CDJ, he is getting his medical done, and tomorrow is going to have an interview, I sent a letter stating why i was not in the interview with him, and also stated that i was 100% supportive,and hoped we were granted with the visa, it was dated March, 2007.. also it was signed My concern is,, was i supposed to send him a signed letter of intent ( the one they give us in the package) I thought it was only him the one signing it????? I think it is more of reaffirmation letter not letter of intent... and the letter that you already sent him is fine... Don't worry too much! Good luck with the interview! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	evidence	I'm thinking of submitting the following evidence when filing the I-129F: - my passport, with two entries into Tanzania in the past year or so - a record of my calling card order history - doesn't say where I called, but showed that I spent lots of money - three or four photos - a record of us purchasing a PO Box in Tanzania together - three envelopes that I sent to him (but addressed to his brother, because he didn't have a box at that time... will this be a problem? I'm planning on attaching an explanation) - two envelopes that he sent me I don't really want to include emails, since they're personal and his typing is sometimes incomprehensible to the untrained eye. Is this sufficient? If you do include emails, let them be about you traveling to visit your fiance, they need to see you met in person more than they need to know you kept in touch. A person from the embassy in Barbados told me that it is better to have photo's of the two of you with other people in natural settings, or in front of well know landmarks. Any boarding passes or other proof you were in the country together would be helpful. My packet didn't have a lot of stuff with 'our' names on it, but I had plenty of evidence that I have been in the country with my fiance. It sounds like you are on the right track. Sue We included the very first letters that we sent to each other, 4 letters for each month to show on going correspondence, and letters where we discussed his trips here in PI. We highlighted our names, dates and email addresses and important contents in each letter... I think it helped but of course that's only one of the many proofs that we sent... I'm pretty sure in the coming days, I'd be in the same situation as ch1ch1... But knowing that there will be a lot of people here who will boost my spirit up, the waiting will surely a lot tolerable. Right now, I'm already panicking upon seeing some December filers getting approved and some Oct/Nov left without NOA2... Too many "what ifs" to battle with and even though it's too early for me to feel this way, it's impossible not too especially when your happiness is at stake... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA I received 130 days ago, but still...	hi, all: is it possible that my i-129F application package is lost by CSC? my fiancee read somewhere on a Chinese K1 related forum about a lost package case. one of the users on that site posted a message telling people USCIS lost her i-129F package even though she received NOA1. she waited about 6 months and still no update, so she called USCIS various times. each time she was told the agency could not find the case material (i.e. the case does not exist). she argued that how the case didn't exist if she had a case number and NOA1. finally about 2, 3 months later she called another agency that monitors the performance of USCIS and this agency found her package. it was misplaced. i certainly don't mean anything negative about USCIS in general. i'm just worried that my case may be also lost. is it possible? if my package is indeed lost, what should i do? how would i make sure that CSC still has my package and it is indeed just waiting to be processed (SOON)? any feedback would be appreciated! You already got the NOA1 so that means they got your package... I'm not sure if its really possible that they'll misplace yours... There's this one poster here who used to work at USCIS in Nebraska. Maybe this information will help a little... ppfkl posted this in other topic so I just copy-paste it here. As far as processing time, the whole process will vary from country to country. However the first step (NOA2) is pretty much the same for everyone depending on the service center you went through. Cases are served on a first-come first-served basis. Typically people take 80-90 days to get their NOA2. We all watch the dates carefully. You can go to the Immigration Timelines section and do your own queries. Here's that stats that I look at every day. - 81% (66 of 81) October CSC NOA1s have received their NOA2. - 85% (53 of 62) November CSC NOA1s have received their NOA2. - 10% (5 of 48) December CSC NOA1s have received their NOA2. - 0% (0 of 27) January CSC NOA1s have received their NOA2. - 50% of CSC filers should receive their NOA2 within 81 days of their NOA1. - 84% of CSC filers should receive their NOA2 within 91 days of their NOA1. - 98% of CSC filers should receive their NOA2 within 100 days of their NOA1. - It takes about 30 days for approved petitions to reach the appropriate consulate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA1	I received my NOA1 in the mail on the 3rd and at the bottom it says "If any of the above information is incorrect, call customer service immediately." Our names and address are all fine, just that the "received date" is a day before I even mailed it out. It say the 16th of February and I mailed everything on the 17th of February. Do I really need to call customer service and tell them about this, or am I just worrying too much? Thanks. Thats kind of weird. Makes you wonder if they have the right petition. Normally the dates wouldnt matter but they have a reciept date for a petition that wasnt even there yet! Its probably nothing big but I personally would call to make sure they approved YOUR petition. Thanks for your input... I will be doing that tomorrow, so as to clear up anything. Maybe you should really call... You can call and speak with someone to ask (I suggest late at night) or you can send an e-mail. The latter worked the best for me. Thank You David and Bora Bora for the info....It worked and we found out that it was sent off to Manila today!!! Thank You again....... Happy for you! Next weekt, I'll start emailing NVC too!
