K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	met in person and ongoing relationship	on the i-129f form do i need to place this seperate on the cover sheet or can i just place proof of having met in the past two years and ongoing relationship, because for both things i see is pretting much asking for the same things phots and etc, so instead of me placing - proof of having met in the last 2 years - proof of ongoing relationship cant i just place it like this - proof of having met in the last 2 years , proof of ongoing relationship since ispretty much the same thing I think combining the two is ok... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE(s)	the photos, boarding passed, passport stamps will be great evidence. I would save the love letters and emails for the interview stage. At the I-129F stage they really only care that you meet the requirement of having met in the last 2 years, and that intend to get married (though I'm not exactly sure how you prove that). Although love letters and emails are not really required in I-129F packet, we thought submitting those will help prove something. It's indeed a heartbreaking one but you are right, everything happens for a reason. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Are we too poor to be in love?	I'm a broke college student, I go to CC and live in my parents basement. I'm 20 years old 8-9k in debt and still going to school. I work one to two days a week because I can't work more with all the classes I have to take to maintain health insurance on my parent's bill. I met my Fiance in High School, and we dated for 3 years and during that time I managed to save up enough money to go visit her last summer, in Georgia (the country). I asked her to marry me in January of '07. I can barely afford car insurance each month to get to and from school, let alone gas, I'd be kaput if it weren't for my parents. She's living in Tbilisi, also under a roof her parents own, she'd have to sell it just to be able to afford the plane ticket here. We need to get together as soon as possible, and another 6-9 months minimum might be a death sentance to us. I'm just starting now because I had no idea how long it took and ~sighs~ I'm feeling pretty hopeless. Could someone who knows something tell me about these things direct me on where to start, tell me about someone who's had it harder to make me feel better, or just put us out of our misery and tell me to simply go there and give up hope on a safe place to raise our children and a chance to achieve our professional and personal goals? Someone correct me if I'm wrong... I think you can use your parents as co-sponsor if you will file for a K1 visa for your fiancee... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question about traveling after visa	My fiance is living in China and not a resident, he is there on a business visa. After the interview and receiving the visa, he wants to go home to Algeria for a visit before coming to the U.S. I know he has six months before he comes here, my question is can he go home to Algeria and fly out from there and fly here to the U.S? I just wasn't sure how that worked, if the visa says he is approved but from the consolate in China, and yet he arrives from Algeria. Might be a dumb question, just was curious. Thanks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question regarding G-325A forms...	Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who can provide assistance. On VJ's example G-325A forms, page 1 of 4 has "Other (Specify): I-129F Petition for Fiance" marked under the box stating "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:", however pages 2,3, and 4 have the box "Naturalization" marked under this same category. Additionally, pages 2,3, and 4 have the same "I-129F Petition for Fiance" filled in, but not marked. Is this a mistake on the example forms and is "Other (Specify): I-129F Petition for Fiance" supposed to be marked on all 4 pages, or is this EXACTLY how it should be done? Something just didn't seem right with it, so I thought I'd check with you all. Thanks again and GOOD LUCK to everyone! Andrew We had the same problem back when we were filling up the forms. However, now that we are waiting for our interview to be scheduled I've gone ahead and told my fiancee to get another one since it's required and we're not sure where the first one is. Ryan What you have so far is good enough to prove your genuine relationship. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Wait...?	As I am a student and have no income... I was able to fill out the form very quickly. I had to have the my bank mail me a copy of the statement which took about 3 days. I notorized 4 forms at a hospital and sent via 3-day mail. My father is also co-sponsoring, he was able to get a statements from the bank, letter from his employer, and copy his assets, W-2s, mortgage, etc. in 2 days. They sent that via 3 day mail also. My fiancee recieved these about 10 days after she got her third packet and sent my pdfs of the forms. My fiancee arrange her medical and police interviews for Jan 19th and sent out packet 3 on the 26th. She got her response via phone on Feb 6th and packet 4 came on the 9th and was dated Feb 6th. She called on the 12th and arranged her interview on Mar 1st. Mine got there 2-6 and was cashed 2-20. No NOA1 yet for me, can't see a # on the back of my check that begins with NSC, CSC. I'll just wait I guess. You don't see any numbers followed by 3 letters? (thanks) Well there's ONE number that MAY have a WAC in front of it, but it's illegible. Holding vertically: For Credit to U.S. Treasury ????????? ?? ????-???? 0????? ????? ????-XXXX __________________ WACO ????????????? Maybe you can use a magnifying glass just like what others did? Approval was Feb 12 so I don’t know why it took long to reach. Same thing happened to us approved Feb.12 (two touches), never received an email, informed via snail mail. Good luck on the rest of your visa process! I think this goes the same with seattlegirl27 no notice online... but her fiancee received the approval through snail mail. I was interviewed last feb 15 and got approved but until now i haven't received my visa. Is this normal? How long does it take to deliver the visa? I called the embassy and was told just to wait. By the way im applying for k1. I think it all depends upon where the Visa will be delivered... The farther the location, the longer to wait for it. Where are you from anyway? If you're from a far away province, you should have stayed in a hotel close to USE and had your visa delivered there. I think others did that and it worked... Anyway, if they say you wait, do so.
