You may want to consider the DCF (direct consular filing) if your future wife qualified, it's the fastest way of getting you a CR-1 visa and you are able to work in US right away. But, you need to be married before you can file CR-1 the DCF way. Try avoid having to deal with USCIS, we regretted we didn't do DCF before my husband went home and ended up being separated for a long time. Leah She is not living in Italy. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	We are getting mad!!!	If i could get a work permit while i am still in Italy i could have my company moving there. The problem is they do not give a sponsorship to anyone but if i have a workpermit they can find me a job in the US. I cannot stay 90days there hoping to find a job. After you get married contact the italian consulate in US and they will explain how to have your marriage registered in Italy too. In Florida they asked me for the apostille. Are all the above mandatory?
