Hi Ness and Keith,

Count me in.

I've got an RFE because of #2 and #20.

In #2(Other names used, put maiden name if married)Of course i put my complete maiden name. NVC said it was wrong. Since i applied for my first passport(in my entire life biggrin.gif ) after I got married, i have to write my married name in #20 instead of maiden name. If you have applied a passport before you got married(indicating your maiden name on your passport) you have to put your maiden name not your married name. Confusing right?

In #20, I had a gap where I live since reaching the age of 16. I was only thingking that when i entered college, i was 16. But sad to say, i was 17 when i was in college. sad.gif

i wasnt RFE'D ON #22.there was even a gap on the time i've worked.


NVC sent RFE letter on : August 17, 2007
Sent RFE Response : September 6, 2007
NVC Received my RFE response : September 13, 2007
NVC Case Complete : September 24, 2007
I'm still waiting for my interview and medical schedule. NVC sets schedule every second week of the month. So probably, i'll know my interview date on the second or third week of october. I'm hoping to get a November Schedule.

yes, there are still fees to be paid. The affidavit of Support(AOS) fee is $70 dollars. Visa FEE is $380 dollars.

Have you tried calling Department of state? Call DOS.You'll get a better answer with them than NVC. My case was completed September 24th and i already have a november interview. You should have an interview schedule by now. Goodluck!!! good.gif

I really appreciate your advices and info's. I guess i was just unlucky.I've even read lots of NVC articles,blogs etc.I really thougt NVC would not need my police clearance cause lots of relatives were not asked of this police clearances. I thought NBI clerance was enough.But its not.Lucky for those people who didnt experienced or wont experience the same thing.

And one thing,

I hope those people who comes across with the documentation would submit possible needed documents to avoid delays.

I-864 is for aos. Apparently Manila embassy doesn't accept co sponsor. But it is a case to case basis. Back when I was doing k1 I didn't know it either, since my husband was a student back then and didn't file taxes the recent year and was not making any money but he just started working. I still went on with the co sponsor but make sure it's a close relative though, I also wrote a letter how am I not gonna be a burden to their country, and when he interview me I explain him everything why my husband now wasn't making money back then and I needed his stepdad to co sponsor us. And they approved me after 2 minutes. So good luck to you and don't get nervous,.

There simply seems to be no reason why some have to wait forever, and others get approved right away. I am curious if you got any touches before your approval. With all these other touches going on for July NOA1's I'de started checking mine like 5 times a day - or more! lol

Thanks Bill! Yes we got touch only once last Aug. 11 after NOA1 which is Aug. 2 and got approved in 62 days:) I was also checking 5 times a day before and I recited lots of prayers every night I think it was heard loud:) Hope you'll have your NOA2 soon.. :)

:) :D [font=Century Gothic] I just want to share how happy I am. Rob called me 12am Manila time informing me that we received NOA2. That was really a good news! I was surprise that his petition was approve sooner than I expected it to be. I was overjoyed that I could hardly get back to sleep again. It's getting near that my Love and I will be together. I guess we owe it a lot from VJ'ers who been so kind for feeding the information and guide we need that helps & contribute to expedite process of I-129F petition.
