PLS HELP	Ronzkie,   Here is what I can tell you about the NVC and the Embassy in Manila when it comes to scheduling interview appointments. It took a while to find the right person at the NVC to give me the information on how appointments are scheduled. Once a month (towards the end of the month) the Embassy in Manila sends the available appointments for the next interview month. The NVC then fills all of those available interview times with the available people who have completed pre-processing. They just scheduled for June the end of April. So they fill those appoitment slots based on first come first serve and any special circumstances that a case may have. So the closer your pre-processing completion date to the beginning of the month is the closer you will be to the next scheduled interview appoitnment.   My wife's pre-processing was finished April 2, 2013, and we did not recieve our Interview notification until May 2, 2013. My wifes interview is scheduled for June 3rd. So that should hopefully give you an idea on what to expect.. I sure hope this helps answer your question...   Calling the NVC can help if you are able to speak to someone with some knowledge of the system. Most of the people at the NVC just look up your case status on the computer but cannot give you anymore information because they either dont know or they are told not to. I am thankful the lady I spoke with that day told me how the interview shceduling process works, and sure enogh she was right. Thank you my dear thanks for you responses... As youve remembered i was once filed K1 last november 2011 but got an RFE on evidences on meeting in personal...we didnt have any because 3yrs have passed since the last time weve met..We have cancelled te petition ...He wont home & GOT married on August 2012 and RE FILE this time CR-1 spousal visa last oct 29,2012 got noa2 on dec 26.. unluckily uscis forwards our approved case to nvc feb 4,2013 (its such a pain waiting for that time) ALL AOS AND PACKET IV were paid last MARCH 2013 got an rfe for our child (AOS--1-864w) this april we had an Advance Medical examination last MAY 2-3 2013 Case completed on may 6,2013 NOW STILL WAITING FOR ANY PROGRESS.....	ronzkie	Female	Philippines	2013-05-12 05:18:00

HI CHRIS PARKER, i'M SORRY IF MY POST IS A LITTLE BIT CONFUSING. yEAH, I MYSELF IS STILL CONFUSED UNTIL NOW . hope this helps. (YOU KNOW WHAT, THERE SHOULD BE A NEW THREAD FOR THE RFE ON #2. THere are lots of vj'rs here got problem on #2. This was posted by D&A Hi Rina, I believe for AUREA's case which I asked about last week, her DS230 was sent back because of question #2. NVC said it should have been the married name like the one on the passport. EVEN though it clearly states "If married woman, give maiden name". I tried contacting NVC regarding this and haven't been able to get thru. I am actually on the phone on hold now as I typed this! I hope I can clear this up and get a straight answer from NVC. My wife is sending her stuff this week (DS230 & required docs) and I want to make sure on this one. I will let you guys know what answers I get from NVC. God Bless, Den Okay VJ'rs with the same scenario....I just got off the phone from State Department and before that I talked to NVC (took me all morning btw but finally got a answer). BOTH parties (NVC & State Dept.) agreed that for questions #1 and #2 on Part 1 of the DS230 application - if you and your spouse got married and then has gotten your passport afterwards (like for my case, I got married in the Philippines last Nov. 06 and then my wife later applied for a Phil. passport, got it and has her married name on the passport) then you will need to put your spouse (s) MARRIED NAME (as shown on the their passport) for BOTH questions #1 and #2. Basic rule according to NVC and State Dept. is that they will go with what's on your spouse(s) name on his/her passport. Moreover, this will also apply for Part 2 questions #26 and #27. THIS REALLY IS CONFUSING. In number 2, i put my complete maiden name, but NVC encircled it saying its wrong entry because They(nvc )said that i have to put my married name. Its because i applied for my passport after i got married. If you have applied for your passport before you got married, you have to encode your maiden name in #2. Be very carefule in #20.That's also the reason of my RFE I dont think you did somthing wong in #22.There was even a gap in the time i've been working.and i wasnt RFE'd for the #22 I thought it was not a big deal. But anyway, you have to follow what they wanted you to do. Pray that the one reviewing your case may have the big heart to approve your case soon. RFE is really a nuisance. Good Luck! Maybe my case got completed a little bit faster coz it was just a response on an RFE. I only submitted my police clearances and DS230 not a whole bunch of documents. NVC told him that my case was approved and was already forwarded to US Embassy Manila. We are almost have the same timelines.I sent the DS230 and my documents last September 7, NVC received on spetember13. BUT I DONT BELIEVE IT.THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAYS THAT THEY JUST RECEIVED THE CHECKLIST LETTER RESPONSE ON SEPTEMBER 13. I'm already tired of waiting. I guess i'll just wait whatever happens.
