USCIS Service Centers	SO MANY NOVEMBER FILERS APPROVED - VSC !! :D	I posted this today in topic called attention to all Vermon filers, but now saw this topic so i copied and decided to post here as well. "I am so tired of how slow vermont is working, I was thinking that maybe all the people who are still waiting for approval should write letters to their senators to do something about Vermont Service Center. For some unexplained reason, they have processed a dozen or so late November and December filers, but skipped mid-July through mid-November :/ I see They are doing strange things, Hate that we all have to wait so long, They should accept K1 cases in two months max. My petition is "in transit" online and I called to verify and it left today and is on its way to the embassy! On that website you write you case number from uscis or firs need to call the nvc to get different case number? And another question what visa type we choose, i mean immigrant or nonimmigrant? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Question	I actually called CBP because I had the same question regarding my fiancee, who only speaks Mongolian, which is a very rare language for someone at the airport to speak. They said that they would be able to call a translator and do it over the phone at POE. I don't think that she will face too much difficulty. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Question	Usually it is done during flight. There are additional forms at counters in the area where passengers go thru inpsection. The reason I mention this is because the first time my now wife came to the US, she flew from Amsterdam and she was given the green form (there was no reason for the crew of KLM to ask if someone needed the other one). She had no idea she was supposed to use the white, she had never come to the US before. She had a less than happy experience at inspection. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Question	That is correct. Make sure that upon arrival, mom (and her travel companion) fills out the white (and not the green, reserved for VWP people) I-94. Unless she's flying LOT direct into the US, other airlines will depart from other cities in Europe where most would be on the VWP. Is not a biggy, but you just don't want a nervous mom to run into a bad-hair day CBP at entry with the wrong i-94. Oh, yeah I almost forgot that there is that i-94 form, are they still giving it on the plane? US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Question	There is no interview, but she would be ask where is she staying, the purpose of her visit and how long she is planning to stay. Not speaking English at all would be an issue. Not sure if they would have someone handy to translate but I've seen often other passengers helping out. If port of entry is NY or Chicago, there is a good chance that there will be other people who can translate. If your mom will be with someone speaking English there should be no problem whatsoever. There really is no "interview" at POE. Vietnam	Justice Record Check #2/ Foreign Police Certificat	Hello there: I need someone who has experience can help me to clarification between the Justice Record Check #2 (Tam dich: Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap so 2) and a Foreign Police Certificate (Tam dich: Trich Luc Tu Phap cua Canh Sat Nuoc Ngoai). According to "Instruction Package For K Visa Applicants" for U.S. Consulate in Vietnam and my understanding that these two above documents are required to have (if applicable) before Visa can be issued. If an applicant (Beneficiary) never travel to any foreign countries so Justice Record Check #2 (Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap so 2) is the only requirement. If I'm wrong please correct me. I'm confused because if there a translation similar to "Police Certificate" = " Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap So 2", is it supposed to be Justice Record Check #2 (Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap So 2)???. Is Phieu Ly Lich Tu Phap So 2 used when we referred to Police Certificate and vice versa???? I read few threads in this forum and all mentioned Police Certificate not Justice Record Check # 2. Hi..sorry for the delay in responding.  As others have posted there are ways to do what you need to do absent a birth certificate.  I would imagine you can get one in absentia by having someone go to the People's Committee on your behalf...anything is possible I am sure...       Thank you JRF. Just give them a copy of your naturalization certificate and a copy of all pages of your passprt.
