K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJuly 2013 K-1 Visa Filers
Hi guys! I'm done with my DS-160 and also paid the visa fee. I received an email that my receipt has been activated and that I can schedule an appointment at their website. when I logged in, it says no appointment available.so I called call center. the man said to wait for the instruction from the consulate. Is there any of you experienced this? How many days you have waited to received mail from embassy/consulate?what are the instructions? So confusing. :(

Hi guys! We filed on July also. We got approved October 15, October 18 our case was sent to NVC, October 25 our case was forwarded here in Hong Kong. I checked the online visa checker it says READY and that our case was updated November 1,2013.. What to expect next? I'm so anxious! :(

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresForm I-134

On you son's info, where it asks relationship to sponsor I'd write.... Fiancee's son. below  on accompanying info where it's says spouse I'd fix by writing.... fiancee of sponsor.

Ok I got it! Thank you so much! :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresForm I-134

I'm sure you meant k-2. if the son is having a separate interview and at a different embassy, you should provide an I-134 for the son. your fiancee's  I-134 will probably be sealed in her visa packet.

You are right! Thank you so much! His name will be in the Q3 and my name will be put as accompanying mother? Or fiancee? Because I think the accompanying or follow to join refers to the person in number3.

Waaah confusing! Im sorry guys. :(

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresForm I-134

I'm a little confused. Will you and your son have your interview together at USEM?  If so you need only one copy of the I-134 with you listed in item 3 and your son's name listed in the child section of number 3. I just completed a K1/K3 visa for my fiance. I have two K3's and I listed them both as I have described for your son. As Hank stated, your relationship to sponsor should read "fiancee".

I will have my interview here in Hong Kong and after that ,my case will be forwarded in the USEM for my son's visa.

Ok I will ask my fiance to make another 1 for my son. Thank you! :)

If your son is has his interview at a different embassy than you, he should have his own I-134.  I would say his name should be listed in # 3, and your name listed below (have to fix it to read fiancee ;) ) .  I would include a copy of your I-134 just to clarify things, but that is me.

Hi Hank. Thank you but I figured out something. For now I will ask my fiance to just send me 1 copy of an affidavit of support. I will just wait for further instructions once the application of my son's visa has been filed in the Philippines. If he needs to have his own I-134, then I'll ask my fiance to send it right away.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresForm I-134
Hi everybody! I am hoping many of you are familiar with the k2 procedures. I am confused if I will ask my fiance to fill out another form I-134 for my son. My son's visa interview will be in Manila. Do we need a total of two affidavit? If so, the name of my son should be written in question number 3 and the other will be my name? Thank you so much! Im really confused. :(
