this is called securty check according to my information... takes 2-3 months.. but its SURE he will get this visa inshallah..tell him not to turn off his cell phone.. good luck

If it is a security check, the best anybody can say is that the visa is likely to be issued if there are no problems with the security check. No visa is "SURE" until it's in the passport and the passport is in the applicant's hand. No entry to the US is assured until the applicant has cleard Customs and Immigration at the POE.

i said "" inshallah"" means god willing...!!!

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCrazy News - My I-129F was approved
QUOTE (JustWaiting @ Mar 19 2008, 10:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok, so guess what I found on my Inbox this morning? The approval e-mail for my I-129 saying it had been approved yesterday and that it was going to be forwarded to NVC.

I called NVC because my I-130 has already been assigned there and was told to just ignore anything for the K-3 if I do not want to proceed with it, which is what I will be doing. I had cancelled the K-3 three weeks ago and just decided to proceed with the I-130 and got that approved quickly.

NVC mentioned that this has been happening lately because of the USCIS' back and forth on the K-3. The rep told me they cannot make up their minds and some people get both approved or I-130 only to get the I-129 later.

God bless them, at least my I-130 is moving forward!!

It seems like VSC processed a lot more spousal visas this week than we saw earlier, but love to know if someone's been able to call them recently find out the latest scoop on where things stand! I am tired of waiting.

when it was a lot of spousal visas? i see TOO many people here are whining about VSC! i am so confused how and why many got approvales , and many has filed later than we did! we filed on april , and some people filed later than that and they got approved? what vsc doing? kidding with us? i am not spitful, but good luck for those who got apparovals fast on vsc!

Lisa

I see from your posts every day when I come on here...that you are going through the same shock of discovery that I went through during my "journey" through this whole process. Don't even bother going by the processing times that USCIS posts on the their site...those dates are always inaccurate. They give certain dates and you will come here to VJ and see from reading other's case updates and approvals that the dates there are just to shut everyone up to help appease everyone into waiting longer. And to give you a place to check 10 times a day to see if the date changes to see what kind of hope you have of your case being completed soon.

Check this out: At one point during my waiting for USCIS approval....they moved the date on that page for I-130 processing back 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you heard me right - 2 MONTHS. I was checking that page constantly trying to gauge where we stood in the process and then that update....where they took us back 2 months.

You can't rely on those dates...thats the bottom line.

Calm down...take some deep breaths....and try to be patient. Time is going by fast and before you know it your case will be at the NVC. USCIS part is the hardest part...just get though that and you will be fine.

Deb star_smile.gif

Has anyone noticed this posted on the USCIS processing times site?

Service Center Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: July 31, 2008

So they are posting times as of September, but really they are as of July?

I just noticed this.

Lisa

Deb,
Thanks. I totally realize that they are a joke. Im not necessarily freaking out. But, from time to time, I just pretty annoyed by the lack of accountability that the USCIS has.

I do believe the times going back 2 months, they just did that last month.. moved them back a month. ha!
The only reason I do care about the times posted is they get to hide behind them, when anyone does an inquiry heh heh
Thanks for responding to all of my posts with such thought and care. smile.gif

We originally figured it would take about 6 months to get an approval, and we havent reached that yet. So, when I get impatient I try to tell myself that.

Thanks
Lisa

Thanx so much habibiti! and thx so much for deb too, she said nice things that we can learn thru this waiting!
and yes you are right my love: we didnt reach the 6 months line yet! and we will reach it while approval inshallallh!

I am getting married next month and had hoped my husband wouldn't be too far behind me coming back to the US. After reading through some posts I am now so discouraged and sad. I didn't realize it is going to take so long. I won't even be able to visit him as it's so expensive.

No visits during the months long visa process can make showing a bona fide ongoing relationship pretty difficult. If you can't, you can't but I'd be adjusting priorities if at all possible.

Do you mean at the interview? Once you're in process you have already sent in all the proof of a bonafide marriage.

I dont think many people are in a position to travel abroad more than once a year. sad.gif
I wish I could!

habibti,
dont freak out! i dont think that is right! engoing marraige can be proved by calls, emails, etc etc, if the embassy wont approve the visas for couples who had 1 visits druing the process then 90% of marraiges wont go thru!
i already witnessed many guys getting visas while they had 1 visits from their wives to jordan!
the last one had these questions ( close to the subject) :
officer; how long did ur wife spent here?
him: 2 weeks!
officer: so all of ur love and marraige is based on these 2 weeks?
him: no, cuz we knew eachother months before marraige and that was online, and we had the commitment online too! and we felt that we belong togather online! so how about us on real life?
he got his visa 3 month later, cr1/ir1 ! good luck for him biggrin.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMARRYING IN JORDA (STEP BY STEP)
Ok guys! me and my wife nutted up before we get married cuz of all procedures that we heared about, so lets start step by step:
1. translate the passport of the forgin person , u can do that in some offices of legal translators.
2.get affidavit of single status or( widow, divorce) status from usa embassy in amman.( write in both asrabic in english, they will help u in embassy for that).
3.sign that paper from ministry of forgin (first circle in amman ) and superme judge dept. in gardens st. in amman.
4.get medical test for both of you guys (there is some centers are doing that ) and sign ur results from a goverment center. that test takes 10 mins !!
5.go to court now , and get 2 witnesses , make copies of thier ID's on both sides and ur ID too, get family paper (???? ??????)
, the translated passport copy, medical test , the form of marraige (get that from any notary around court), the single paper ,
6. now you will get a paper at the court called (clearnce) ull get that from court, and go to interior ministry with that clearnce paper.
7. interior ministry: on interior ministry circle behind regency hotel on queen rania st. that will take an hour, be patinet.
8. back to the court in your area, and get 2 wintesses , a friend of you that talks english to be translator and :
GET MARRIED GUYS!!!!!!!!!

I am just wondering about Narina....What happened to Narina then?

Good morning darlings. Well, it's morning and pretty damn sad actually. Today I go back home to the US. sad.gif

Well I'm wondering now if I have a paper NOA2 in my mailbox. I'm getting excited at the idea!

The reason I was thinking we might be late in our appoval is because we filed the 129-F almost 6 weeks after our I-130. It was so stupid. They made us do each application separately and due to my job schedule and the lawyer's schedule, it was delayed by that much. So we'll see.

Sonia, didn't you mention something about a K-3 party in real life? A get together? I would love that. I think I may have even talked to Lisa about it.

Inshallah, once my husband gets here, I'm planning a HUGE party. I have had the idea for a long time now. Even my family is excited about it, having also waited for his arrival. I have one aunt that already planned the menu LOOOOL So I think we should plan something for our K-3 family here. Maybe in the late summer or fall so that it gives time for people to get their spouses over. I will be happy to host it. I can take 50-60 people comfortably...75 if I move some furniture around and open all my guest rooms and put in extra chairs. My family will take up about 20 of those spots and my friends, probably another 30 who will actually be able to make it. What do you all think of the idea?

I hope you do come home to the good news! We still havent received our hardcopies of the NOA2's so, maybe you should call..like a couple others did smile.gif
We did talk about a party, and im all for it! they have meet ups all the time..why not a k3 meetup?
I hope you have/had a safe trip.

I got some good news today btw...a got a big fat raise out of the blue.. the company i left to come to this one(the competition) isnt doing so well since i left and my boss said..we dont want them coming after you and taking you away laughing.gif gotta love that! ok, back to approvals...
It's only tuesday and we have 5(?) so far..keep 'em coming VSC!

Lisa

Congrats on your raise sweetie! I'm sure you deserve it! Buy something nice for yourself...like a nice sexy outfit for when your hubby gets here, since now you are so much closer to that happening!!! wink.gif tongue.gif I now anticipate a thank you post from Yazied! LOL whistling.gif

i didnt go to any college,, so i added my high school... no problem with that.. but i dont think u need to put the junior school becuz they arent insistution... also about the address u can add ur street address and the city, province and country

Thank you for understanding that your next point of contact will be the USCIS office in which you originally filed the petition."

Hi Visa j family,

I would like to know if someone had gone through what iam going through right now After I interviewd AT the American embassy back in 2008 april 29th they gave me a paper 221g Ap but this is not the problem, the problem is it took them a year to reply back of course i sent many enquires but they said its still under Ap my wife did use her sent office but they cant do anything about it it helped a little anyway after a year they sent us email saying our case is sent back to USCIS for review and after it got there the USCIS sent us a email saying they have received our case in june 2009 and it will take 8 months to review i keep checking through the internet it is at the circle before the last one.

I just dont know is there any chance that they would approve it ????and send it back to the American Embassy in jordan or its not going to be any hope and what if they approved it do i need a whole knew petition??????? cause i think its only valid for one year so i think i have to do another one iam lost and tired of waiting its been 4 years total the whole journey.

Thanks for reading and your helpfull info.
