I am very nervous about this issue once my husband comes. He is very careful with his money. So am I. Iam fairly frugal (have to be on my salary).

But I really want a new flat screen (37 to 40 inches -wall mounted). My husband has a crappy tv in Iran and never watches it. I am concerned that if I don't buy the flat screen now, when he comes he will try to nix the idea of buying a flat screen.

Another thing....I am going to stock up on some shoes and clothing.

I hate justifying my spending to anyone.

interview date

hi guys i have my interview tomorrow morning at 8:00 Am i am little nervous but inshllah i will be fine pray for me people 29/4/2008 it will be a day to remember i am hoping to get the visa so i can be with wife and my 2 year old son Adam i only talk to him on the phone my wife told me he always grab my picture and kiss it and say baba love you.

Hi VJ family i need your help first i will tell you what happend today,

I got to the EMB very early 7:00 my APT was at 8:00 i was the second to interview she reviewd my papers everything was ok until she look at my x divorce there was a probelm and i thought it wont t be as my lawyer told me, I had a Previous marriage when i was in the states and i came back to my country jordan cause i was deported i tried to contact my wife while i was in Process of deportation she didnt even care she left me so she didnt deserve me so when i came back to jordan i confirmed my divorce in jordan in 1997 then i got married in 2005 in jordan and i have a beautiful family baby boy from my current wife and she is American allso iam so happy with them when i went today to the embassy they told me that I married my x wife in the states then I have to get a divorce there i tried to tell her that if you recongnize a Foreign marriage why dont you recognize a Foreign divorce and i told her i didnt have a chance to divorce her there i was deported on the seen
the deportion is not a problem cause iam done with the period its more than 10 years now.
so she said they will take my papers back to the Immigration and then the Immigration will take it to the state i was married my x wife in which is newjeresy and they will look for a law that permit what i did her in jordan as if its legal to divorce her in a Different country i mean that i divorced her in my country.
Knowing that i went to the embassy back in 2004 and i talked to one of the officers about what should i confirm my divorce in jordan she said that i have to do 3 steps in order to be ceear from this marriage and i did it and now they wont Recognize it

I dont know what to do iam so down and so helpless i know i did mistakes but i want to start fresh now i need help
if someone need more details to help i can give more thanks...

no actually, a k3 holder can file a stand alone EAD application and receive work authorization.

You dont have to file AOS to get work auth on a K3. this is one of the benefits to a K3 holder. You can bypass lifting conditions by filing AOS timely so that you get approved after your 2 yr anniversary.
Its the only spousal/fiance visa that gives you a way around the lifting conditions if you are married under 2 years upon visa issuance. Even the CR1 is a 2 yr GC and requires lifting conditions in 2 years

Any information would be a great help! Please feel free to provide any info that you think would be helpful for this situation!

here is what i think is :
** the 194 shows he entered the usa on certain date. and also shows his A# but it doesnt allow him to work. the only thing that allows him to work is EAD card and/or green card,
and for the future keep copies of everything so u go back to it once u need!!
EAD might take till 3 months to be done!! i got mine on aug 24th and thats about 2 months .. almost 2 months!
and as i knoe the aos takes about 6 months as maximum and u go thru an interviw,,,
things u show up with in the aos interview are close to the proof u prvided in the embassy.. such as house contract that have u both guys names on it" if ur renting a house" joint IRS documents,, " filing taxes togather" .. pics also in the usa for u guys togather and any other documents that shows ur having stuff togather!! like him on ur insurance or something!!

The representative of USCIS spent quite some time before the judge arrived to explain to us how to sign the certificates so they are not invalid. It seemed like it is VERY important to sign with our full name just as it appears on the certificate, and sign the side of the picture in the same way. He said if we sign it any other way, the certificate will not be good to get a passport, and we'll have to get a replacement (which is costly

). In the packet each of us received there was a sample of a correctly signed certificate. The immigration officer even said we should go home, relax, so we make sure we do it the right way

Too bad the SSA's people have to make a copy of it if you want to fill in the application this right after you exit the room. So most of us signed it there and then, without having the chance to relax first

. I did too, but left signing the picture for later since the pen would not write on the glossy paper, and used a sharpie at home. We were also told that passports take quite some time these days, and if anyone intends to travel within a couple of weeks, they might be better off rescheduling the oath. Of course, I was not surprised that nobody wanted to reschedule

So, that's it! I am a very proud Bulgarian-American and one of the newest citizens of the USA!!

I just love the feeling!!!

you may answer when do u intend to arrive to the usa like 15 days after ur interview date! if ur interview was on may 1st u can write down may15th!!
and the second question u can answer undecided!! and thats enough, becuz i had that answer too! but these questiosn on ds156 not the "k" one?!?!

yes i did started in 2006 and then i got interview date on apr 29 2008 when i interviewd i was givena slip saying that i am under AP so i kept emailing the EMB here in jordan they kept saying still pending under admin P so last time i checked with them they said that my case is no longer with them they will send it to uscis so if i need to contact someone it will be the uscis i dont know why they send it back.

Hi,

its been 1 year now since i interviewd in the Embassy here in jordan and they put me on administrative processing and after one year the embassy sent an email saying that case is returned to the uscis ( us. citz and immg serv.) where the petition was originally filed. They provided no explanation as to why. Here's the email we received:

"Your case will be returned to the USCIS office in which y ou originally filed the petition in the US. You will be contacted by that office. You are advised to submit any additional information directly to USCIS at that time. No further action can be taken on this case by our office.

Thank you for understanding that your next point of contact will be the USCIS office in which you originally filed the petition."

so please guys anyone have an answer or been through this before please help.

All I know is when you leave USA by yourself you are not allowed to enter the states for only 5 years so I think you should be ok but i think that when he interview the CO might put him on AP for background check and the AP could stay for short time or long time
