K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F June Filers	actually, me and fiance are having arguments for the past weeks but we made sure that we can settle those things after a few days. just a question, do you guys communicate with your loved ones everyday? thanks. My fiancee and I communicate by phone 3 times per week. We talk online usually the same days we also talk. I am also working 3rd shift and she is working 1st and our off days mismatch. I am a little concerned that reading everyone elses timelines that it seems that your forms have been "touched" in the last month. As for mine, I got the NOA1 on 06/15/07, via checking it at the USCIS website. Apparently, it hasn't been touched since 06/20/07. That's about a month and a half since any activity. Should I be concerned of how slow my process is going? It's is currently at the CSC. I'm sorry for the question, and please excuse me this is my first post. No, I would say don't worry. I've read from many other people that some people get "touches" and some people never get any at all and the notice magically appears in the mail one day. We all still have a ways to go. From what I understand the website of USCIS isn't exactly accurate. Some people I read their status is still "Pending" even after they have already been scheduled for the interview. If I had to choose a guess date I would say August 31-Sept 7. I know my timeline says Sept 28th but I mailed my app on May 17th. So maybe they go by that date for processing??? Just so people don't wonder....all of our touches were because of a typo error and my calls asking about this. If we wouldn't have had this issue we would have had no touches at all except being approved out of the blue. Everytime I called and asked about the typo was a touch and a touch the day after or as a result of a letter received (which we got a letter from USCIS about on a touch date also). Our NOA2 came out of the blue with no immediate touches. So those of you with no touches don't worry. They don't indicate an approval is near. Even what was an average last month has already changed this month and will change again next month. It seems that even though we have the same waiting game, we have different waiting times and, no one knows what those times seem to be. I had an excuse because we had a typo on our application and we found it really early. We mailed a correction letter 1 week after mailing the application and we just got it added to our file on August 22nd (I kept the letter and didn't call to use it as an excuse for RFE) . Well..I called 2 times today and faked stupid both times. I did the RFE trick and got through to the CSC directly. I could tell that they are really just reading right off the screen or paper a response. I called a few times in June and got every time someone really helpful and who gave alot of information. This time natta zero zilch. I'll call again in a few weeks. It's discouraging. She said to expect to wait 3 more months (our NOA1 is June 7) but I could tell she was just reciting from memory. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Social Security Number Typo	Hey all, My first post. A few items of concern 1) I hired a lawyer to prepare our K1 application. One problem, there is a typo on the application (I-129f) of my social security number . Instead of being for example 111-11-1111 it is 111-11-1121. She said that once the application case number is received she will call the customer service number and change this. Is this going to affect our application significantly? She assured me it won't be a problem. They have an enclosed copy of my tax refund which clearly states my social with the application too. 2) Also, Her mother was born in Brasil but her country of birth is listed as Argentina on her biographical form. This category has the comments of parent's place of birth (if known) which implies to me it's not of huge concern. My fiancee's birth certificate translated is enclosed anyway. Will this make a problem? 3) One more question than I'm out of everyone's hair. We sent the application on May 18th and it's now June 3. No checks have been cashed and no notice of anything in the mail. When are most people getting their responses back (I live in WI and I think we mailed it to Nebraska service center). Anyone know what the wait is? Any advice? Sorry for asking such trivial questions. As everyone here can attest it is definately nerve wrecking to wonder if some mistake could cost you the happiness of living with your soul mate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Original Signatures Required on the G-325A and Letter of Intent?	Hello All, I'm confused. I keep reading an original signature is required on the biographical form. In this post I mentioned that our lawyer filled out and signed it for my fiancee. My fiancee's signature is not on the form. Also the letter of intent was a faxed copy including my fiancee's signature. I emailed the document, she printed it signed it, and faxed it to me. My lawyer also I think only mailed one copy of each biographical form I think. I'm about ready to send new original forms to my fiancee for her to sign and mail back. I don't know whether I should rush it by express mail, get it back, and send it in with my application to avoid an RFE or should I just do normal mail and keep it on hand for an RFE. Should I attempt a pre-emtpive strike or just wait and see if there's an RFE. I don't want to delay our case . How much longer would an RFE delay us? Also, I know this is silly but does anyone have the proper and updated address to send additions to your case file? I have seen different addresses. We originally filed with the Nebraska Service Center and it was transferred to the CSC. So I assume we mail to the CSC directly now (NOA1 said it is at CSC). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Original Signatures Required on the G-325A and Letter of Intent?	Hello all, A lawyer prepared our K1 visa application. The lawyer printed the G-315A and filled it out for my fiancee' (The form was confusing for her). In the signature of applicant box the lawyer signed her name and wrote "For (Fiancee's name)". Also, for the letter of intent. I typed out a version and my fiancee' scanned, signed, scanned, and emailed back. Is that going to be a problem that it is a scanned copy of the signed document? I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and have my fiancee sign everything and mail it to me for snail mail in case for an RFE. Does anyone think this will cause a problem.
