I don't think anyone who has not gone through or is going through this process has any idea how difficult the wait is. Not sure about you, but I find it even harder the closer we get. Thinking "maybe they lost our file", "maybe our file is too think and no one wants to review all the pages", etc..... But I'm sure everything is just fine with your file and ours. They are both sitting on top of the pile waiting to be picked up and reviewed within the next few days. Our NOA-1 dates are pretty close, so we should both be approved about the same time. Sorry to hear your not feeling well, hope your better soon. BTW - When was the last time you visited Dasha? Hey... Not sure what would be the best way to put this.... But I am Dasha Ryan is sound asleep not that far away from the USCIS guys, over in Orange County. But as far as the rest of what you said goes - hey I second you on every word. "The case must have gotten lost" stage is blooming and rapidly progressing with me now )) But then I calm down and realize - there is a BUNCH of ppl who have been waiting longer, so thats OK. Even you guys. We'll get approved sooner or later (better - the former), so I'm positive minded today (yet, a bit obssessive )) ). As for the last time we saw each other - that is the sad part - a little over a year ago. So it is very crucial we get aproved ASAP, before I forget what my fiance looks like! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	problem with USCIS website	I AM able to see the case status, and the site worked fine for me the whole time everyone seemed to have problems. My two guesses: - We were approved On Nov.13th, so the glitch only concerns pending applications (which is the worst! I totaly understand you guys!) - My Internet browser is Opera. We received NOA2 from CSC on November 13th. I know that some people who received it around the same time have gotten a touch on the next day or so after their approval, which I believ indicates that your case has been put to the pile that is going to be mailed to NVC. Way too literal understanding of the picture, I know Ours, however, still shows the last touch on November 13th. My question is - does there alwayd have to be an update that shows the case is forwarded to NVC? Hi, I completely stumbled across this thread by accident.  I have to say, the OP is sooooo excited and nervous at how quickly this has all progressed.  I have to say congratulations.     To those who are grumbling about the fact this this case took 3 months when you have been waiting 6 months, well consider this... I married the person I love and have now waited over 12 months to be reunited with him.  I would give anything to have my interview in 3 months, but it's not in my control.  Yes, I get upset when I see people posting about how they got their case approved and interviews complete in a considerably less time than me, but I know that when I post my notification saying "I'm getting on the plane!!! Woop!!!" that there will be someone out there who has been separated from their spouse for longer than I have.  Does that make me a bad person for rubbing it their face?  No, I'm on a journey with my husband, and the amazing support network whois visajourney who are all going through the same experience, albeit at different paces.  We all have our own unique circumstance and situations.     Sumitop, the biggest of congratulations to you, all the best for the rest of your journey, in fact, ALL of your journeys.  May they be speedy and efficient.     EDIT:  Just for the record, for my CR1 (I-130) visa, the CSC ended up being slower!       Edited by ColGil, 26 June 2014 - 10:42 PM. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I-130 RFE	You've said request for initial evidence and not request for additional evidence, to me that implies something which is sent at the start isn't sufficient or is missing.  For example, the passport sized photo's may not comply and need to be redone.  A signature could be missing from a document, if a document is not in English, the translation isn't appropriate and requires to be re-translated, etc.	ColGil	Male	Scotland	2014-02-22 03:30:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	How long after submitting civil documents	I am not following this thread anymore, so won't likely see your reply unless you quote me.  If you have indeed been approved for I-130 (CR1/IR1) at the USCIS and are now at the NVC, then you would be best to follow/join the NVC threads http://www.visajourn...lers-june-2014/   You should read the 1st post, which will link to the Wiki and spreadsheets.  Read through the wiki a couple of times.  At the moment there is a backlog so you can expect 3-4 weeks between stages rather than the 1 week it usually takes.     The spreadsheet will show dates from when documents are submitted to when people get case complete.  The interview thread will show how long from case complete to interview.
