omgggggggggg i cant believe we did it!!!!!!!!!!! like i was saying shes tough but kind,and you just have to be honest an d straight forward,, she pressed on my age,, and pressed on hossam wanting kids in future, and she just told her i have 3 kids,, aishahs kids,,, why wouldi want more?>?? he stood his ground and we had so much evidence and we were totally organized, and we been through so much together and she saw that,,, he was with me through chemo, surgerys, moms death, kids sick,, allllllll things ,,, and this itself showed her were both strong,,, and willing to be there for each other no matter whattttt.. later i will give full review, but thanks for your congrats!@ :thumbs:

hallalh lu ya,, alhamdillah,,, and all blessings to alll in life,, WWE GOT APPROVED!!!ill go in details later as im so tired and so is hossam cause we only slept 2 hours hehehe butt it was an intense interview,, it was american woman did hossam first without me,,, then interviewed me without hossam his last 25 mins ,, mine was 20 minutes,, she was tough but kind, many man y questions, then at end she called us both back to the window and she said i have good news,,, congradulations you have been aproved for the visa! now get ready to go home to ur family!! :thumbs:

i said whattttt!! she smiled big and said yes u got approved.. i said are we in ap, she said no neeed for ap ,, im totally convinced,, you will get ur visa in 10 days or less, no need for anymore investigation, its over, i talked to the head consular officer and its over, congradulations to you both,,, me and hossam huged each other and cried so much and when i looked at the window, she had tears on her face and just turned away and i swear thhis so much ,, she was so nice and soft hearted,,,but very firm woman also,,, i respect her so much,, anyway good luck to you all and i will give full report sooon,,thanks everyoneeeeeeeeee :dance:

Don't worry your husband into getting a new police file Aishah! The one that is on file is good for right now. It's only if they have been in AP for a long time, the embassy may request a new police file or medical exam if expired.

I had my interview back in March of 2009 .The CO said that everything is good .And I'm going to have my visa in 2 weeks ?!!

yolu know i feell for your situation really i do and inshallah all will finish quicker for you, but there are ppl on here that do get thier visas in egypt in 1 week or 2 or even a month so instead of saying all the negative ,, be happy that someone passed thier interview and wish them the best,this process is hard one and every minute seems like a year so anyways best of luck to you !

They also asked him for new police record which he had, also some of there wedding photos as she only sent in a few in the beginning stages of USCIS. The response welcome to America and your get your visa is 2 weeks.

Im getting excited I leave in less then a month for Egypt. I think were all ready to go, we also update my husbands police record.

hello chrisjoy, if you have ur messenger set to always save your chat messages you can print out for each date that you chatted. by the way, i looked at your time line and see that you just started. DOUBLE CHECK ABOUT THIS BUT, as of Feb 1st the K-3 visas are not an option for you. I believe the process has been changed to cr1 or ir1. In your case it would be CR/1 since you have not been married for more than 2 years. and i believe that you will not be filing the I-129.
In my case I started out with the K-3. Now it is IR/1 since we have been married more than 2 years.
In your time line, change your visa type to IR/1, CR/1 and it will show a different path. It will not show submitting the I-129.
This is a better way to go anyway.

hey chris , basically the thing with k3 is its almost obsolete now, the 129f is ur k3 and the 130 is ur cr1 and befor the cr1 was taking so long thats why they developed the k3 visa, but now its not taking long, so the new law is when both 129f and 130 have been both approved at same time the 129f is dropped and it turns into cr1,i started with k3 and just recently got my approvals but they smacked them both together and dropeed the k3 and went to cr1, so yes i agree with the gentlemen who give u this advice and i will stress it again on a more personal level, dont file k3 its almost gone, file cr1, study the nvc short cuts, get familiar with them,good luck to you both and please i stress again ,go for cr1 its better n the end,

hey thanks for explaining that to me also and i wanted to let ya know the avr said to me today that they had recieved my check list letter response on april 27th thank god, it just that the avr hadnt updated yet but it did today,, whewwww

Big companies and government offices use outside company to take care of the small stuff like mail processing. When you send a mail it gets delivered to a P.O. Box which is located at the post office. Company "XYZ" picks up the mail and they are the ones who sign for it, if it's a certified mail or something. Then company "XYZ" will sort the mail based on who it's going to or to the different departments, this is why putting the right "attention: department X or Mr. Name" is important. This mail now goes and sits in the "in box" of the person actually working on your case. He will then get to it when he gets to it, there isn't anything you can do about this, when he is done he will then leave a assessment for the contractor company "ABC" to input the data into the computer. This is how most places like IRS, USCIS, NVC, ect... handles the mail processing.

So, as you can see just because some signed for your letter it does not mean they are working on it.

hy sis thanjks for the encouragement, i called today and the avr says my package was recieved on april 27th which was 2 days ago thank god on that one and according to the mail service nvc recieved it on monday so they entered it tuesday ,, however,, when i called the operator she tells me oh its not on our pc and blh blh ... i told her what the avr said and she says well yes avr says this but it dont mean we have got it it just means its in our mail room??? anyways i will call and call and sign in and sign in tuiill i get victory either way, just want it t close by may 12th, its just one question that was wrong and now its fixed so it shouldnt be so difficult

dear god i hope we get one for june also, we should, and like i said on my rfe its just on ds230 question 30 we forgot to put where he was at 16 so we fixed it, so all they have to do is look and see they fised it,, dear god i hope it comes quickly!

The AVR usually lags 3-4 days behind. It'll be in the system by the end of Friday.

It just reached NVC on Monday. Give them a few days to input it in the system and then another few days to review it.

It takes 8-11 days after your RFE response has been delivered to the NVC mailroom for a case complete.

The ones who make it in 3 weeks are the ones without RFEs.

hello everyone! well im almost at the end of this nvc journey god help me ,,, but i sent the correction that they wanted , over night shiped it and it was signed for 2 days ago, nowwwwww i need to know how long for them to put it in thier computer, going crazy here! its just 1 question we goofed up on and its not corrected and once they see it it is finished! so can anyone give me an idea on how long now,, my husbands so upset saying why nvc taking so long with this and that, he sees timelines where ppl made it through nvc in 3 weeks and such and we been stuck there for month and half which i still think its good time but my planes leaving mid may for egypt so anyone can give us idea of when the case would close, i need some kind of encouragemen here , so does my husband, thanks

From what I've been reading, it's 2 to 7 days BEHIND any event, that 'status' on the AVR.

Strongly suggest you keep calling in for status, get a Human™, and not the AVR.

thanks hun for ur response but let me try to explain this again, it was a real rfe because we didnt fill out a question correctly on the ds230 part 1 , but what im saying is they had it as recieved on april 27th according to avr then when i checked again the avr said it was received on the 30th, what im worried in is getting another stupid rfe and im trying to think in time frame, if i was gonna get one should i hve received it by now? im just worried cause my plane is leaving on the 12th, the nvc agent said its under review and all this , just curious if i should be worried or not, and does anyone know when nvc's avr updates?

checklist response is normal. Some ppl call it a 'false RFE for DS-230'

you could, of course, call back 3 times in the next 24 hours, inquire for case status, and NOTE the answers you get.

i had sent in a rfe on the ds230 and it was put into the system per avr and the operator sees it also as of aprtl 27th , i called and got update that its now saying the nvc recieved ur check letter response on april 30th???
what does this mean, also i been worried.. how long does it take usually if they are gonna send u another rfe,,am i panicing to much or should they be done with this soon, the operator said it was sent to the review department and is being reviewed, tell me what u think ,., thanks

Crazy RFE - Affidavit of Support

ok here it goes,, we got a case complete on may 7th alhamdillah and then on may 11th got email saying its been sent to embassy,, now i get a check letter response from nvc saying they need original 184 signed by our sponsor and that the income ammount for 2009 didnt match???? well we went by the ammount on the w2s but his job letterhead letter said he made more than what his w2s said which was odd but it said he m ade 1 k more than on w2s,,, anyways im in cairo egypt now and dont know what to do,, our interview is june 23 zo im confused,, so i have our co sponsor send us another 184 and take to interview and do we put the ammount from the w2s or from his job letterhead, helppppppppppppp thank you

hubby in usa now but have a question!

hello to u.. my name is aishah and im new to vj site,, let me answer this question for ya,, ive ben doing alot of researching,the thing that the govermetn doesnt want is for the alien relative to become a public charge,the goverment definition of public charge is they dont want them to recieve anything of cash value like ssi,, or tanf.they can recieve food stamps,hud housing,medical card(as long as they are not in a place for long periods of time getting help like,drug rehab or nurseing home ecttt,)even they can get w.i.c.if the aliens sponor,say his wife in usa or her husband in usa is on any kind of public aid assistance other than tanf or ssi, its ok and cannot be held against them,
if u want to find out more information go to yahoo search and type in things like,, what is considerd a public charge for someone applying for visa,, or just words in this nature,, its how i found my information,, hope it helps ya.

ok me again heheheh,, the woman with million questions,, the questions today are,,,i read that the sponsor must be 125 percent in income for his household. this may sound dumb but does he include me and my husband also,,, my brother is our sponosr since i dont meet this requirement,,, and also my other question is that it says if the sponsor is in active duty in millitary its only 100 percent,,, my brother is in navy,, hes not stationed anywhere bt he can be called anytime if they want him,, would this 100 percent count with my brother,,, even that hes our co sponosr? thanks a milion

tourist visa and k1...need an advice pls...

from my understanding about the tourist visa is that you must sho w strong tiessssssss to your native country and if you applied for the k-1 now,,,,,, it shows you have ties to usa ,,which is your fiance, so the tourist visa would be dismissed,so my advice is ,,, forget the tourist visa, it will take awhile to get , even ifffffffffff u get it, also u would have to come back to your country and apply for k1,, meaning leave the love of your life and waiting and waiting,,, so i advice, in a nutshell. dont do tourist visa, invest your money, mind and time, in k1
