I am starting to search for non-stop flights from MNL using PAL and it seems that round trip tickets are like $300 less then one-way.

being an American citizen is not allowed to buy a ONE WAY tickets so I bought a ROUND TRIP tickets. the travel agent agent advise me to ask a refund when I get there.

i suppose buying a one way ticket from agent is not allowed, but if you will buy one directly from the airline ticketing office is no problem. my husband (USC) was able to purchased a one way ticket from american airlines on one of his PI trips and was ok. buying a one way ticket in PI for US is no problem as well.

Oh I see,,,I will do that next time, maybe the cost of the ticket is less expensive. thanks!

Did you know that buying pet food is uncommon in the Philippines? Poor Filipinos can not afford it. Most of the middle class (and above) wouldn't think of it. They feed their cats and dogs leftovers from the table. Your pets are likely the ones who are eating food that is unfit for human consumption, including those added extras like melamine from China.

It seems that your Filipina fiancée has her work cut out for her. Thank goodness Filipinas are patient and understanding.
