K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 TSC Filers	Hey you guys, 2 weeks ago I read a post on the January filers thread that they have been contacting through e-mail these people from USCIS about the unfairness so maybe that's why they are approving them. I then contacted them and a dew days later I received my NOA2 I also posted on the Dec. Thread about it and one December filer did it and also received their approvals within days! I don't know if it's just a coincidence. So please e-mail these people so you may receive you NOA2. I sent them an e-mail but they didn't reply but others have gotten a reply and he took a look at their case. Also contact your congressman now and don't wait. Hurray!!! I am so happy, though I'm not sure if there will be an approval but I'm not giving up hope. But if ever, it won't happened. My fiance already prepared an email to the congressman. THAT'S NOT FAIRR!!!! I know it won't bring good to compare timeline. But it is so unfair knowing that we've waited so long, even without rfe. I will tell that to my fiance, He got so mad when he talked to the tier2 the last time. My friend who is a December filer got approved before us, even if her fiance has rape history and went to jail. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 TSC Filers	Nearly 8 months since our petition was filed, but we are APPROVED !!!       (whew!)   Info for other Russian filers: My fiancée said that the embassy staff were friendly, and that the interview was a pleasant experience. She first waited about a half hour to give her documents to the secretary, then about an hour to wait for the interview. The interview itself was about 10 minutes and went very smoothly.  (Oh, as has been noted, bring a sweater or jacket, since it evidently can get pretty cold inside the building.)   She had her medical exam on Tuesday, we took a chance on booking the embassy interview on Wednesday since there were no available slots today (Thursday), and luckily she got the medical results in time for the interview.  She had the earliest appointment at the IOM (medical administration for immigrants), but it was very busy, people went out of turn until the staff started to call people in turn, so she lost time there.  The exam at Romanov Pereulok took a long time too, so just be aware that it might be best to allow a day to get the medical results if you want a decision at the time of the interview.  Also, it pays to get the certificate of vaccines from the IOM, otherwise it will be a hassle to complete in the US.   Heart and thoughts go out to everyone still waiting.  When we were waiting, it was hard to believe we would ever do anything else, but your time will come.  I know the military used to force a "cooling off period" by stalling approval for foreign brides, to try to dissuade young soldiers from precipitous marriages.  I don't know if that's the case here, but keep the romance alive, and you will make it through.  Thanks to everyone for their support, and God bless! congratulations zhivago.	chaeradaria	Not Telling	Philippines	2014-07-08 07:48:00

And when she look at the dates, there were a lot of slots open. To her surprised she post it to a group, but those who tried to get slots, didn't see it. So she screenshot it and showed to everybody, but still they can't access. It might be a rare case that they offer slots to random applicants, and its their choice to choose. But it might work for you if they tried it already. all I know is they take turns, most probably be online 24/7 just to get appointment. I really don't have any idea why until now there is no open slots, Do the US embassy in manila explain why this is happening? We are in Manila purgatory checking and re-checking for available appointments for interviews that seemingly exist for everyone "except" us. We check 12 times a day but always get the message that no appointments are available. After over a month of this, I finally wrote my Senator an e-mail. It's hard to believe that so many applied in March, got NOA2's and interviews in June and are already here, yet I applied in November and still can't get an interview at the Embassy for her. Sorry to hear that until now you don't have appointment for interview date. I felt bad also knowing that late filers are now moving forward while the early filers are suffering. I saw one post on Facebook about July appointment but it was gone after a couple of minutes. That's how many were now waiting for appointment schedule. While we got our NOA2 approved, we are "still" waiting on the US Embassy in Manila to give us an interview appointment date. We've gotten all the passports, submitted all the required paperwork, and have been told to go online to schedule an appointment for an interview. For over one month now, the US Embassy Secure website says there are no K visa slots available for appointments. No explanation. Just "No Appointments Available" at this time. So, even after you get your NOA2, you can expect to play this waiting game over there in the Philippines. I have a theory. I think the expedited Typhoon Haiyan/Yolonda victim visa program probably clogged up the waiting list. I may be wrong. But, my Cecille and I are patient and know we will "eventually" be together again. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that you may encounter even more delays once you do finally get your NOA2 like we are over there. Salamat Po I heard about it also, that US embassy in manila is not giving appointments for interview date. I don't know what's the reason behind. The moment they open a slot, a lot will have to avail. This is a never ending stress. And more stressful if you're still waiting for NOA2 like me. Good thing though, my fiance will visit me again this July. I won't be thinking about the petition process for a while. Congratulations!!! Finally, NOA2 came. Hoping to hear something soon too. Hitting 7months next week. Don't worry for that. On May 30 2014 I did an e-request and uscis response me 14 days later saying my case is processing by an officer. 4 days after they sent me an e-mail with my approval. I'm so happy. I have been waiting 7 months, well, 217 days for my Noa2. See my Timeline. I hope your NOA2 the next week. Keep the faith!! Congratulations for the approval. Just wanted to let everyone know that Diana had her interview earlier today and was approved!! I was reading all her post, I found out that it took them 8months for "security check completed" and another month to be approved. Ours on the other hand, we're 6months and 1week waiting, our case is still "security check pending " I am thinking, that maybe I have to wait for another 2months to get approved.
