I called Immigration to get some more information about my case and since my petition is at the California Service Center I wanted to speak to an immigration officer to see if my case was one of the ones that were affected by the computer glitch. Unfortunately no. Of course I asked the immigration officer why have some people who filed after me or around the same time as me got quick approval and I haven't. He said just ignore people's approval, not everyone is the same case. I have to wait 5 months the normal processing time after filing to start being concerned.  But I notice that on VJ it says CSC is currently processing NOA1 date of November 12th right now, *sigh* ... I am November 15th and of course the holidays are coming around so I'm sure I won't hear anything immediately. *sigh* The agony.  ???!!! Funny thing is my co-worker told me she had a dream that I was talking to immigration and my petition was approved. lol Unfortunately her prediction was wrong.  While was told the same things ,the officer asked me if im in military and wanted to expedite my case,and she also told me that they received many expedite cases from Philippines and are working on it now and should wait to hear from them. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2013 filers?	It does appear that a few people have experienced some glitches and for that reason, I too was getting very anxious. Seeing what seems like everyone with dates around mine starting to get approved made me feel really nervous. Calling them won't hurt anything however, it won't help either really until after the allowed 5 month time-frame has elapsed.   I found the statistical information reported by Visa Journey members to be a little comforting, not in the sense that it will go any faster, but at least I am comforted by the fact that my timeline doesn't seem so abnormal now.   Over the last 90-days the average time for approval from NOA1 to NOA2 is still at 120-days.  It is true the the processing times have sped up, the average over the last 6 months was at 146-days, but it is still typical for this approval to take up to 5 months and the average is 4.  This makes me feel like the process is at least going normally and is what I had expected when I initially filed.  Here is the link to the statistical data based on Visa Journey member timeline updates. If I'd gotten that earlier, I could have started to prepare documents to take with me when I go visit my fiance in 2 days. It won't get to me in time now, which is too bad but I'm okay with it because I'm still over the moon with the news of the approval   I just called the NVC and they received my case and forwarded it on to Havana yesterday! I was not expecting this to happen so fast when just yesterday I thought we were going to get an RFE or worse, were going to be denied.   Does anyone have any suggestions on documents that I can take my fiance without having received the NOA2? All I've got right now are the tax returns! Wow that's a wonderful news ,congrats I could actually say that since you haven't received the N0A2 you can prepare the 134 ,letter of intent and all the originals documents sent for the petition and maybe later on when you received the NOA2 you can send it to him since you want to visit so bad I guess that's the option for you otherwise its has been a great and surprising day for you ,I guess	Kay and Jay	Female	Congo DR	2013-12-18 14:42:00

And personally, although I absolutely HATE the waiting, I think it's also a sign of impatience on my part to start calling now. They're not going to speed up my case just because I called. I'm no more special than the files they're currently working on. Just in case ,its better you know that you are approved than nothing you better call and know whats going with your case.The SRC has gone through a lot with weather issue so that's why they haven't updated the information its better you know that you are approved to start working on the I-134	Kay and Jay	Female	Congo DR	2013-12-18 14:06:00

I just called on ours.  Our NOA1 was Nov 7.  The agent said on the phone that our status was in initial processing and that I should wait to call back until 5 months after the NOA1 date. Ok, great. The initial person I talked to, was very lower level, so if you need anything that requires authoritative answers, they will forward your call to an officer. The wait time for me was 90 minutes, so I left a call back number, and they called me back after about 100 minutes. Alien regestration number has been changed. Now I'm not sure exactly what the NOA2 is and what it will tell me...How long should it take to see a decision?   The NOA2 IS THE APPROVAL letter you have to fill up your time line and also keep on checking the status of your case on the uscis.gov ,create an account and click yes on email and phone notification. NVC give me also my Invoice number. The letter said I will be informed when the case is sent to the embasy which I think it will be sent by Friday. Good luck to all of yall! It's an app specifically for couples as you match your app to only one other person's (as opposed to any other messaging app).   All throughout the day, when he's at work (I work from home so I'm always available to talk on Skype), we'll send each other messages. We trade pictures and icons and whatnot, all through Couple, and because it's just between me and him, it feels very personal and intimate to me. Like I said, I really love it, and it's become a fabulous communication tool between us. Heck, even my children know when I get a message on Couple, and they know it's from him. cool will actually use it starting from today,im tired of receiving viber messages when talking to my love at least having something unique is good. I still don't know where to get my medical done... not a lot of info for Portugal and a lot of the Paris info on here is in french (pet peeve of mine). I know I can get the medical done here, which is a relief. I've done some search on the police certificate and ours are valid for 3 months, so no use getting it done ahead of time. The waiting game is just so sucky, but I understand there's really no other way of doing it. I can't even imagine how boggled down in work they are, and most of times I just remind myself that to them, I'm just a name on a file, no more special than any other name on another file.   But it does suck... Actually they have been delays with the Texas Center Approvals because of the weather offices resumed their normal working today and some tomorrow so its all about the weather lets hope for the weather to stay good until we get our approvals ,cheer up still not Christmas yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi we are actually on the same track  once you hear something I will hear definitely hear something by tomorrow hopefully. Every time a member with Texas updates their timeline, VJ updates everyone else's automatically. That's why filling a timeline helps everyone on VJ; because it's more data for the statistical pool. That's how we get our projections, and that's why they're only projections, estimates - they're statistical predictions based on the data that VJ members give. Those are craps seriously. Let me just start by saying that I am very happy for everyone that is getting their approvals and getting to be with or getting closer  to be with their loved ones. I have to admit that everytime I read the stories and statuses on here I am flooded with mixed emotions happiness for the ones that do get through and sadness for those of us still waiting especially when I read of some cases getting their NOA2 in less than a month. It's sometimes very disheartening and sometimes it gives you hope that maybe just maybe your case is the next one to move forward. But alas, all my hopes have been crushed today, as I couldn't take it any longer and called the USCIS office today and they told me that as of today the Texas Service Center is currently working on May 2013 cases which means that there are 6 months inbetween so I should expect at least a 6 month wait. I can't take the suspense & the torture!!!!      this visa process is going to drive me crazy!!!!! Seriously this is a joke I mean this is really a joke how can they do that while they have already stated with October filers no they should be something else that they might overlooked on your case seriously you haven't had an alien change yet ?while I guess you just need to stay strong and pray hard cause everything is so crazy and confusing right now how can they skip the may filers and approve the October filers and go back again to the may filers this is absolutely crazy ,I would advice you to just be strong and God's time is the best dont give up I know it hurts even more when your fellow filers are approved.
