K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January Filers	I called USCIS again just now and found out I was APPROVED back on April 24th!! I posted a new topic on it. Ridiculous how the online status didn't change, nor was I sent any emails. FIGURES!!! THe officer I spoke with didn't mention anything about pending approval though like another VJer mentioned... They're probably wondering who all these crazy January people are who are all calling within minutes of each other! LOL!! Anyway, yeah she told me exactly what it says online, blah blah blah. I told her that I had gotten 'touched' last week - she was like "you got WHAT?" - LOL. She asked if it had been within 6 months of me filing yet....grrrrrrrrrrrr. I told her that I just wanted to make sure the online notification was working right.... What the heck # did you guys push to actually talk to a human being??? I wonder if I call and press the 'change of address' number I'll get better info like a previous poster got. Jeez, somebody just wake me when all of this is over. I hope to hell everyday that I'll open my mailbox and find something . . . but there's isn't much comfort in knowing that I don't know if/when I'll get approved or if/when I'll know if I get approved. Could it be they work on the cases the first couple of days, yet do not mark it as touched? Then boom approval few days later. Yes, I found some K-3 activity-- 2 or 3 NOA2's for the 17th. At least we know somebody made it to work yesterday. It helps a little... maybe I can move to Vermont to escape the hot summer weather! George Jesus, I have been in and out of posting because of being in Korea these 2 weeks...but no body got an NOA2 this week? Wow...CSC is breaking records here. See link below http://fwaguy.250fre...m/February2.htm I noticed that. How BIZARRE. If I remember correctly, they sent their petition out Jan 10. So they probably counted when they received via snail mail their NOA1, and not the actual notice date. So therefore, USCIS probably received their petition somewhere around the 16 of Jan. Of course I am just guestimating here, but that would be my interpretation of what has happened. I wish I were with Marlon, living it up on the beach, drinking Rum Cream and dreaming of an NOA2.... *sigh* My Sweetie is arriving today to spend a week with me. If only we had our NOA2 waiting in the letter box when he comes back home..... I'd be beside myself with happiness. But with the speed CSC is working now - I don't think that is going to happen. Anyway, I'm going to enjoy the time with my Love-Bug now without obsessively checking our case status every other while and see you guys next week. I hope you will have some good news for me by then!! I hope she goes! oh, and we are just about ready to send in my request for a "Visitors Visa" for a stay of two months to help my loved one get through her operation. Wish us luck and please keep praying for her healthy recovery. And as hard as it is, we are doing things within the law so as not to have any repercussions from any overstay. For something like this, I will just have to wait and see what their next move will be, then try to figure out some battle plan, I guess. On the flip side, I already told them to submit the request. I would hope they did and did not screw THAT up , too.
