IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresdocuments and fees

Yes, I believe there's just one fee for the AOS. But two for the IV.

And no fees at the embassy. Unless there's a courier fee.

Thank you now we can get organized

thank you very much for the quick reply's.

Is there just one AOS fee?

And the last thing I have to ask is, what fees need to be paid at the embassy?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresdocuments and fees
Hi everyone,

I am trying to get organized for the next stage of paperwork.

I know I need DS-230 for myself and my son, police certificate for myself. The OH needs to send the I-864 and 3 years tax returns or W2 and a few recent pay check stubs.

Is there anything else that needs to be sent?

What fees need to be paid?

My OH is the petitioner, myself and my son are the beneficiary's. It is the CR1 and CR2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, don't staple them together. All your docs get scanned. We didn't use any form of clips for our docs, just numbered the pages, wrote what it was and included a checklist. Good luck

hi,

Me and the OH don't have any co-mingling of finances or joint lease either. We sent photos, copies of the stamps in my passport, flight stubs, copies of cards we have sent each other and a few emails from each month we have been talking and affidavits from each of our mothers and a friend.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHPV

The HPV vaccination isn't a waste of money if a female already has a strain of HPV, there are many different strains of HPV. You can have the vaccine and still catch a strain it doesn't cover.

Also the vaccine is not just for females, males can have it as well.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHPV

Your post is not very clear. First of all the HPV vaccination is only for females. If the female already has HPV the vaccination is a waste of money. From your post I am assuming you are a male who is on a fiancée visa sponsored by an American female or you have a brother or sister or parents who are American citizens and sponsoring you. Only under those conditions would you need in ST. Luke’s visa medical exam. As long as you have no visible warts on your genitals or in the general area you will have no problem. If you have visible warts get them burned off by laser treatment, electric hot needle treatment or acid burn treatment, by a dermatologist doctor so you are completely healed by date of visa medical exam. If you are the American husband sponsoring a Filipino spouse you are not the one having the visa medical exam your spouse is and as long as she has no visible warts there is no problem. Medical note: As long as there are visible warts that person is contagious and can easy infect their sex partners, and the area size covered in warts will continue to expand as more warts continue to appear. Also if you have warts the likelyhood of you having other STD's is very high. Best to get local medical checkup with smear lab tests so you know you are clean at same time you have warts removed.

you wont be handing your sealed envelope over until your plane lands in the USA and you go through the security checkpoint where they check your passport. You wont miss your flight out of Canada because you don't give the envelope to the check in desk.

Well new comer.......back in the old days, way back in 2010, we waited a long time for CSC to take care of our paper work. Then there were the poor souls that were sent from CSC to Texas.......and then back again and the aps literally rotted on the in boxes at Texas....... Best wishes, for real on a quick NOA2!!

I remember the old days of 2010 and the CSC to TSC TO CSC transfer, I was a member then as well. I was only commenting that CSC has slowed down.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNOA 2 but only for 1 petition
Hi,

I have a quick question. We sent all the paperwork for CR1 & CR2 in June, NOA 1 date for both was 7th June. We received NOA 2 for myself on the 7th October but my sons petition is still in initial review.

My question is what do we do now? Do we wait and see if his is done in the next few weeks? or can my OH call them before the 5 month mark?

Thanks for any help you can give

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresGetting Married Soon! :)
I'm also a tad confused.

You are a USC and live in the US, your soon to be husband is a citizen of Morocco who is in the UK? What visa does he have for the UK? Do you have a visa for the UK?

In order to file from outside the USA for a CR1 you need to be a legal permanent resident in the UK and have been as such for a minimum period of 6 months before you can file.

You wont get denied or delayed because you have piles!! If that was the case 99 percent of women who have had a baby wouldn't be getting in. Don't worry.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresinformation please I-130 for child?

Include child's I-130 with yours.

Since your husband file's the petition for you and your child (for him, the child is step child), the below are needed for the step child:
1) I-130
2) $355 fee
3) G-325A with passport size photo (may be optional, but no harm to include it)
4) Copy of the marriage certificate of the stepparent to the child's natural parent showing that the marriage occurred before the child's 18th birthday
5) Copies of documents showing that any prior marriages were legally terminated, that's child's mother's - you
6) Copy of the stepchild's birth certificate

Loto

A G-325A for the child?
Thank you for all your help I feel like a right plank where this all concerned

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresinformation please I-130 for child?
Hi,

Im new to all this so i'm sorry if these questions have been asked before. Myself and the hubby are trying to gather everything we need to send in the I-130. I have a few questions that I can't find the answers to.

1. I have a child who is 5 years old and born in Scotland, UK. Do we have to file a separate I-130 for him or do we just add him to the one for myself?

My other question is for later (I'm trying to be organised) My childs father is not my husband, there is no fathers name on the birth certificate and he has no contact with his child, I don't know where he is. I have had my childs name changed on his birth certificate so he now has my husbands last name. I could have his name changed as his father has no parental rights or responsabilities. Am I going to have to have a solicitors letter to confirm this?

Thank you to anyone that can shed some light on these.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresGetting married on a tourist visa
I visited the USA on VWP and got married while I was out there, they didnt ask me what I was planning to do while there. I came home when I was meant to and am now in the process of gathering everything for the cr1.

USA citizens dont need a visa to come to the uk and can stay for up to 6 months as long as they have the funds and a return ticket, I was advised that they would most probably contact myself to confirm his travel plans in the UK.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresi-130 question

Ok, so that means at the NVC stage of your application process, he will be asked to provide an I-864 affidavit of support.

If he changes address before your petition is approved and forwarded to NVC, your beau should send in an AR-11 Change of Address form, which he can send online or by mail within 30 days of moving to his new address.

If he changes address after the I-864 Affidavit of Support is turned in (during the NVC stage and beyond), then he sends in an I-865 Change of Address form within 30 days of moving to his new address.

After you arrive, the I-864 is still in effect until you apply for citizenship or until you can show you have made 40 quarters of SSN contributions (worked in the US for 10 years); so within that time, every time you guys move, he has to send in an I-865 (within 30 days of moving), and you have to turn in an AR-11 (within 10 days, not 30 days of moving).

Blimy! Thank you for all the info and the details of all the forms we might need, that takes a big bit of pressure off.
lyndsaycribbsFemaleUnited Kingdom2010-10-09 19:17:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresi-130 question

During the application process, if he changes address, he can mail or submit a Change of Address form online within 30 days of moving to his new address, no biggie. If anything, his family should make sure he gets all his mail!

You guys may want to update your profile and your timeline so that other members can be able to help you better. :)

What kind of visa are you applying for?

As far as any kind of assistance from his family, if he is unable to meet the poverty guideline requirements for the application, you'd need a co-sponsor.

Thank you for all the information, I was waiting until we had sent the first lot of paperwork away before starting the timeline. We are going down the CR1 route. Lucky for us he just exceeds the poverty guideline requitements.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresi-130 question
Hi everyone,

Sorry to ask a question I am sure has been asked before, but I cant find it.

I am still trying to get everything together to send to my hubby so he can file the I-130. One of the problems we have is that his house burnt to the ground a few months ago and he has been staying with family until the insurance pays out. The insurance still hasnt paid out yet and im itching to get the paperwork sent in.

So my question is can we put in his family members address as the address we will all be living in when we move over? Or do we have to wait until he has his own house again?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Hi everyone,

I am still sorting out all the paperwork to send to the hubby to file our CR1. I just have a few questions that I hope some members could shed some light on.

Affidavit to show proof of relationship, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and have been trying to find some where that doesn't charge a fortune for these to be done, does any one know a place I can have these done without breaking the bank?

Also we are filing a CR1 for my child, do we need to include proof of relationship for myself and hubby in with my sons application?

Thank you for any help anyone can give
