Well so far seems that me only sending in 2 passport photos with my AOS package and not 2 for each(AOS and EAD) hasn't been a problem .. my case was transfered to CSC ... i figured someone would have sent me an RFE or sent it all back before then .. but who knows .. maybe will still have them complain about it .. got my bio appt next week and stuff sent to the CSC everything moving along quite well ... hey they even spelled my middle name wrong in the bio appt letter i called the 1-800# on tuesday and already got something in the mail today stating they corrected it ... they must be liking me or something	RYCK	Male	Aruba	2009-07-10 12:02:00

Do I need visa for Canada?I	Doesn't matter what a website says .... if they ask at the border and he decides that you need a passport you are not going to change his mind by saying " go look at the website" I think people are saying take your passport to be extra safe because things like that do happen and theres not a whole lot you can do about it ... and either side Canadian or the USA can decide to either let you in or not. Canada	Canadians on US Health Care reform	Bertie In Ontario right now .. especially southern ontario .. pick up a phone and try to get a family doctor ( general practitioner they call em here) it's darn near impossible noone is accepting patients and most offices are way overbooked .. you have an appointment for 10 am but ya sit there till at least 1 or 2 pm because of the "pack em in push em out charge the max" mentality the doctors have. Because of the cutback to the healthcare And the fact there are not enough doctors because noone will pay to get more there. And not to mention all the things the healthcare in canada doesn't cover .. but always floored me when your nasty sick and need to see your doc and you call for an appointment and you hear "we have an appointment in 3 and a half weeks from now" and they wonder why people flood the emergency rooms. And then there is the bad side of healthcare ... thats the reality of it when i left earlier this year .. And if some in this forum complain that i am being negative BOOHOO to them i'll show you the 2 bills sent to me totaling 160,000 dollars that apparently OHIP doesn't cover. All the government here needs to do is put the insurance companies in their place. And stop the outrageous premium hikes and hiding behind 9/11 as an excuse .. thats not just health insurance thats EVERY INSURANCE COMPANY from car to health to home to life insurance ... and not just in the USA how many seen that happen in Canada too altho not as widespread but was a great excuse and continues to this day. But yes something needs to be done i don't know what the best answer is but you cannot have people living in debt because they are sick and you shouldn't be having people who have to go into debt further cause they need to take the insurance companies to court because all of a sudden they don't feel like paying out on your claims	RYCK	Male	Aruba	2009-07-27 10:13:00

I'm not worried about AOS...I figure at some point I will get a GC lol... and i'm in no rush for AP as my mom is coming for a few weeks to see me...and EAD...well don't really need that either lol.... I'm having a hard time with some of the timelines that are out there they are just too unrealistic ... but hey thats just me ... trying to decide what wait is better the wait for the green card and EAD or the wait for the K-1 ... at least with the K-1 i was still going to work everyday and doing my normal everyday routine but now waiting on the EAD it feels tougher i cannot work so i can't help contribute to the household and that makes me feel like a bum theres not a whole lot that helps keep my mind off of it. Had my biometrics done 2 weeks ago ... they better have enough fingerprints and pictures now because thats all i been doing and they sure took enough at the appointment.... and my case was transfered to CSC a few days before that ... the only thing i found about the AOS is that if i have to do an interview and ya have to get all sorts of "proof" i am having a hard time gathering certain things because EVERYWHERE i need to go to get the proof wants either my EAD or my greencard.. even the bank giving us a hard time getting a joint account because i am not a "resident" even tho i have an account there .. joint lease? no way i don't have a job cause i don't have an EAD so they won't touch me there .. it's going to be a treat if i get an interview Edited by RYCK, 27 July 2009 - 10:23 AM.
