But mostly I hear that if washington is doing checks 6 months is average...not to say there arent some alot quicker, just recently people in the support group I am a part of have gotten their visas through casa in just a matter of weeks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	90 days	Well hello everyone. Today is my 90 day mark for waiting on my NOA2. I went online yesterday and printed out a release of information form from my senator. Today I will definately fill out the form and send it to her. There are several concerns I will be raising with her. First the fact that it takes USCIS so long to go from a NOA1 to a NOA2. Second I will be talking to her about the order that the applications are processed. And on this note I want to know from them what ever happened to First In First Out.(FIFO) There is no way in the world peoples applications are supposed to get approved until the person ahead of theirs has been approved. Unless they have Premium Service with an emergency situation or there is a problem with a persons application and at that point they should be given an RFE to correct. This is understandable but just because a worker may be out on vacation or sick is not a good enough reason. If this worker is out or sick then the applications they were processing should go to someones elses desk for processing. Even if their supervisor has to process them. This is America people we live in the land of the free the home of the brave. We live in a country where no man is better than another. We all need to act like it especially government offices. Im at 96 days today... !! According to my timeline my case may be adjudicated as early as tomorrow, but according to my lawyer that is a little over optimistic(can you ever be too optimistic???) Anyway that said I think Id wait on contacting my senator yet. Every time I get within a day of the your case may be adjudicated by date it goes up a few days. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Is this horrible feeling in my gut justified?	I feel you on the waiting.. We got a touch on Jan 13th, then again on May 15th...and ...nothing. I see alot of the other January filers getting approved and I am obsessing like did someone spill their mocha latte on it and trash it? Did it slip behind a desk??? But when I made my daily call to uscis this morning the guy I got was actually doing something other than reading from his script. He was like let me look at an estimated time line for your kind of case..Oh its 3 months...and I see your a little over this, maybe you should make an infopass appt and see if there is any new info that way. Now... I live 2 hours from my nearest office and time off at the phone company has to be paid for in blood. Has anyone else tried this?? Any point in it? Honestly me... Im ready to take today off and go, but I understand it is an appt I have to set up.So advice is req here. Thanks in advance!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE Line at USCIS	I forget to say I called them today and the lady I spoke to was convinced they were only working on November filers and no one else. This was after I told her about VJ and jan. filers, feb, etc.... She said the people on VJ were problably lying about their timelines and approvals. It was truly a sad day for my government. I had pretty much the same experience...November.. you arent out of "normal" processing time range..I stated I was a member of a forum that offered support and that some people who filed in Jan and Feb had already gotten approvals...she stated that maybe they were mistaken about when they actually filed....my tax dollars hard at work there buddy!!!	chasnik	Female	Morocco	2007-05-24 19:28:00

Almost 6 months is testing my patience which was in short supply to start with severely. To anyone out there praying I would appreciate you remembering Cara and Mohammed!!!! He hasnt came out right and stated this, but sort of an inbetween the lines feeling I get. This is the first time I havent paid him asap, but honestly 600 for emailed answers... seriously thinking of foregoing the lawyer all together. Not like he has helped anything really and I have paid over 3000 in fees so far. Single mom and fiance in a poor country do not = up to megabucks. Nowhere in it does it say I will be charged 200 for reading and answering an email. There is something in there about phone consultation but as he never returns phone calls I dont have to worry about that. We had him paid up, then I sent several email questions and now all of a sudden I owe almost 600 again. The answers to one of the questions was Im not sure, and the other was no. I dont think that constitutes 600 worth of answers. But I also do not want to make waves in my case. The guy was very nice and said my case had been assigned to an agent and I should hear something soon. Then this morning I get up and there is a touch on the case. I believe you should have gotten your NOA2 already a long time ago. You've been waiting for 6 months and still no NOA2 and this actually shows that some of us here are not guaranteed the 3 month estimated approval. It's just one of the mysteries of USCIS. I wish you luck my friend and all of us that should have NOA2s already, but don't have them yet. Thanks, toying with the idea of calling and using the rfe, but just not sure after being told not to call for 30 days. I may wait till Monday of next week then if I havent heard anything call. I looked this morning and I see it was updated on the 22nd....I really dont see them working on a Sunday....do they??? How long does it take to say...ok your approved now you can go on to the hell known as Casa!!! Sorry had to vent...reassurance needed!!!! Have you tried calling your service center? You've been waiting a long time . I have actually as tracytn stated talked to someone and they told me that my case was with an agent now...after seeing all of the touches I called back and got an extremly rude woman who told me I couldnt call again for 30 days.
