(I am waiting...) way too long...:-( I sent the checklist back 06 April and I had my interview 2 June so almost 2 months. Even though they sheduled my appointment 10 days after completing my case, what is fast. very offen they shedule a month later....Personally I recommend not buying any palne tickets until you have visa in hand and make sure it has no mistakes but to cheer you up I know that some people had it faster. maybe no previous visas make your case faster-could be.... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Exam	hi at my medical I had only Diphterie -Tetanus and Mumps vaccinations.I didn't have to take Varicella (Chickenpox) because i had that desease as a child. Plus backdays, before I joined visajourney.com I didn't know much and I had mess in my head from all of that information. You are doing things about the hardest and most expensive way imaginable. Go forth, get married, have a great time in Vegas and enjoy your lie in Germany together. When you are about 6 months from wanting to immigrate to the US, have your husband file his petition for you *in Germany*. If he doesn't know what that is all about, he should go to his JAG office. good luck. PS: A K-3 is NOT the appropriate visa for you after marriage. It could be worth checking with the website of the US Consulate in Germany to see what their rules are regarding DCF. They won't call it that (that's not the official title) but they may allow it depending on your legal status in Germany. yes, I have to talk to them. I wanted to process my K1 here since I 've been living here and with fiance for over a year now and they didn't object...I may be wrong but as far as it comes to Germany and EU people you can reside here if you want for how long you want (the letter I got from the city hall) and that is your legal status. I'm not sure why you thought it was. Too bad that you didn't ask about that before now. Wow. Waiting for a K3 after all the waiting you've done for the K1 (not to mention the money involved!) is just mind boggling. Anyway I hope it goes quickly for you this time around. Thanks the reason for my concern to get married on tourist visa was that they woudn't let me in at POE because they woudn't trust I was going to leave US after that. And I didn't want to hide my intetions (I am flying with my wedding dress :-) ). There are also some previous topis from people who were denied entering US on tourist visas under suspect that they were going to get married. They were going only to visit their fiances or fiancees. I just wanted to ask why didn't you do DCF, but I guess if you wanted to get married in Las Vegas, then this is pretty much the only way to do it. This is the way we like and want to have our ceremony and honeymoon. We will stay only about 8 days in US and I think I will not able to have anything done including advanced parole. We have to come back to Germany -my fiance is stationed here (Air Force). So we will start K3 visa process. I know that some people will say that I could get a tourist visa just to get married but I REALLY didn't want to risk that they will not let me in since my intentions differed from visa purpose. Hi all you need now is evidence of your relationship and one passport type photo, so take from home pictures, any previous flight tickets etc. Birth certificate, police cert. and documents for your medical you will need later (after NOA2-approval of petition. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Visiting on a prior Tourist (B1) visa while K1 is in Process	For my opinion it is better to get married in your fiancee"s country and go through K3 or to apply for K1. Since you guys are already engaged it would be difficult to proove later that you got married due to "spur of the moment" while she was on tourist visa. There is a long immigration process ahead of you and you will be swearing under oath - what then?
