I'm starting to fill out the I-134 form with myself and my uncle who is our co-sponsor, but what technically counts as supporting documents? I go to school full-time and work two part time jobs, so I have no idea what to put as my employer. Should I put my main part-time job or put full-time student/part-time after school program instructor? HELP!   "The US fiance is ALWAYS the primary sponsor, but may have a co-sponsor. If there is a co-sponsor, both the US fiance and the co-sponsor will EACH have to fill out the affidavit I-134 or I-864 and EACH will have to provide supporting documentation."   via: http://www.visajourn...content/support     For the K-1, you'll be submitting the I-134 affidavits.  If you have any kind of job, you list that....and attach any tax transcripts from the IRS if you have them.  If you have nothing or no income, then you list your income as zero and don't attach anything.  You're just completing the form to show that you do not meet the minimum income requirements. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Original letter affirming your desire to marry your Fiance(e)	Hi guys,    I was going through a checklist for the list of items that I need to send to my Fiancee for interview and just had a question for one of the items.    On VJ website, under K1 Guidelines after getting NOA 2, step 3. mentions the following:    Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).   I looked at the example forms but I only see the sample for (Fiance(e) Letter of Intent). Will it be the same one for the interview? Did anyone else use anything different? I have been sending consistent financial support to my Fiance and I think this will show the sincerity of our love for one another and my commitment to her. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134 and I-864	Current income is key.  Many folks were recent students with little to no income but now have a job and have adequate income.  Your empolyers letter stating your working hours and annual income plus current pay summaries are key.  I don't see any issues.   Thanks for your answer. You consistantly provide very thorough, thoughtful answers throughout the forum and I really appreciate it. I have decided that I will be using the co-sponsor for the I-134. I am stubborn and often want to just do things on my own, but the visa process is no time to be prideful and decline those willing to help! Now that my co-sponsor has filed both his 2012 and 2011 tax returns, I will at least have photocopies of those, although I really really hope that transcripts become available for them soon. I want to go to the interview fully prepared! From speaking to others who have gone through the embassy in Costa Rica, it seems they are very accepting of co-sponsors and it is pretty common for student petitioners to go through using co-sponsors.     My co-sponsor just e-filed his 2012 taxes on Monday this week. Also, he back-filed his 2011 taxes on the same day, but had to send them using paper copies since it is not the current tax year. Any idea how long it can take for transcripts to become available? According to H&R block (who he hired to do his taxes), it takes about 21 days to get his refund, at least for the 2012 taxes. Supposedly the backfiled ones could take longer since they are not electronic. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need a little help	Okay so I am filing out all the forms for my K1 visa...  Most of it is pretty straight forward and just takes the time to sit down and think about what you are being asked.  I have a couple questions however...   1.  When and how do I file the form for a criminal waiver... What is the form number? It says that even though the case is dismissed I still have to say I have a criminal history.  I had a girl in the past bate me into a text war and when I told her off she told the police I harassed her... My case is sealed and dropped but still have to explain in this situation.   YES my finacee already knows about it.   2.  I am located in Colorado and trying to find my filing center address so I can send over all the forms I need my finacee to sign and send back?  Anyone have a link for that information?   There is no form.  Just type and sign a statement.   All petitions are sent to Texas.  Use that address which is found in the instructions.	baron555	Male	Russia	2013-07-29 12:15:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need help about financial support	So, 401K in amound of 10.000$ and amount 7.000$ stated in I134 form can't help ?   Yes the use of cash savings is allowed.....but.....it is not income (meaning steady flow of money coming in).   The 401K, by itself is not liquid money, meaning you first have to withdraw the funds, pay whatever extra IRS penalties for early withdrawal, and then it can be used...   Also I beleive only 30% of cash savings can be used as credit.   On top of this, every Embassy is different, if you want a definite answer, email them.     The poverty guidelines are quite low........soapbox now.......and if a couple can't even or barely meets them, ask yourself how will their relatinoship fair since the new immigrant won't be able to work until at least 3-5 months arter marriage and then what type and pay of a job will be they able to find.   Good luck; I personally wouldn't want to cut it so close and would suggest to anyone to delay any visa until you had a decent reserve or job.	baron555	Male	Russia	2013-07-27 13:24:00

My fiancee (U.S petitioner) is a head of household ( 4 person included me ).    125% of poverty guide line is 29,438$ and his hourly paid is 13.70$ , He has 401K as an asset 10.000$ , Bank statement + other value which stated in I-134 around 7000$ and his father's life insurance ( 100,000$ ) which he is beneficiary. I do understand that the U.S Embassy tend to see current income but in our case the income is not enough 3000$ . K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Any way to speed up the K1 visa process before fiancé has to go back to Iran?	I am a US citizen and my fiancé is an Iranian citizen. We've been together for the last 10 months. We met while she was interning in America with a J1 visa but after her program she had to return back to her university which is in Germany. She is now living in Germany at this time for trying to finish her Masters. We applied for the I-129F application a few weeks ago and have been working on it for the last month. I know I am so in love with her and there is nobody else on this earth for me but her. However her father doesn't approve on the marriage and is trying to find ways to get her back home in Iran and her student visa may expire in february if she doesn't get accepted back. Is there anything I can do to make the process go faster before february because if she has to go back Iran I know I will have no chance at all to ever be with her again. I need help so bad it hurts and am very scared of losing her. I am willing to do whatever it takes. I hope someone out there has been in a similar situation and can share some advice. If they ask be honest, but it's such a common condition and as others have said it's the petitioner's finances and income they look at not yours. Mostly they are looking for big things like TB. Does anyone have any other info regarding RA being an issue? I had read in a consulate/interview review that the person was asked whether they had an illness.
