Visa process isnt something I want to mess up.   I am about to file a K1 for my fiance, she has a 4 year old son that we will be bringing with her. Other than listing his name on the I129F is there anything else we need to do right now for the K2?   Nope   We would like him to come with her when she comes, from what I've read it seems like once her NOA2 is approved she can then schedule both interviews and do the K2 at that time. Am I missing anything?     Yep   Is there an extra fee for starting the K2?    Yes, another visa fee and another medical.   I know the medical and visa fee will be paid for both.      Last question that I can't seem to find. I'm assuming that what will likely happen is that my fiance will likely get the visa in May or perhaps early June which is too close to the due date which means she can't travel, so she will have to have our baby in her home country. So after the baby is born I would then add him/her to the DS-156K form? How would I go about doing that? My fiance's K-1 visa would have already been issued at that point. Thanks for your help. You'll email the Embassy and they will provide direction. Her K-1 is valid for six months from the time it is issued but Embassies all the time grant extensions to that 6 months and this case would be a perfect example. Two weeks after sending the application we found out that my fiance is pregnant. I was hoping that she would get the visa before she gave birth so we can have the child in the US but that seems unlikely. The child will not have automatic US citizenship since I don't meet the 5 year physical presence requirement. After or before the child is born is there anyway I can simply add him/her to my fiance's visa application instead of having to go through this whole application process again? The last few weeks I have been fed a bunch of lies. When I confront her saying I know she lied about something and I just ask her to tell the truth. It is all I want. The embassy in Kiev contacted me and said she never even scheduled an interview. I did get her on the phone today and I will speak to her in a few minutes on Skype. She does not know I know the truth. This will be interesting.    This is a classic scam we have seen in the RUB forum a few time from UA women.  You most likely are sending her consistent amounts of money (maybe not large amounts) and for her to obtain her visa will stop all that.  She ALSO is probably doing the same to a number of other men at the same time....when she adds up all those small amounts of money being sent, she's living a nice life.	baron555	Male	Russia	2013-09-26 09:09:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Confused about I-797 received today	OK, I think I am understanding a bit better now - the approval notice sure doesn't explain much, thank goodness for these forums on the internet!  So it looks like that approval notice gets sent from the California service center to the National Visa Center, who then sends it to the consulate in Canada, who will then send me a letter in Canada telling me to book my medical and interview once they get it.  Is that correct?   It's a standard form used for many other types of visas and such.  The expiration dates are meaningless for K-1s.	baron555	Male	Russia	2013-10-01 01:20:00

My fiance was denied Visa because she fail the interview.  The guy ask her what is that I like to do for fun and she said hiking, and then he asked where do I like to hike? He asked her the place and she said she doesn't know because she never been to USA for her to know. Then he told her its denied because she doesn't know and how come she doesn't know  at least that is what she told me. Am really crushed and so is she as she was crying.  What is my option now should I travel and meet the embassy staff am not sure if its even possible or should I re-apply?  Please help on what I should do as am very confused and hurt now. Thank you all and God bless you all.          The trained CO did not believe you have a legitimate relationship, not knowing about hiking is one small part of a larger decision. Stu I have seen posts where the CO pulled up BOTH peoples facebook and asked who these friends were or what this post was. I have also heard that a CO questioned a married man about his chats with other women during the first 2 years of him and his wifes (she was just a girlfriend when he was chatting and writing others) 5 year relationship. He knew their names. He then called the wife in the USA and asked her if she knew who these women were. She knew thank God. Cause the couple was honest wih each other. I got mine in 3 days and that is not a long time. As for your visa situation go, If your nikah is done then you should apply for CR1 (marriage visa) not k1 (fiance visa). I know there is no paper work and no one can tell that you are married etc etc. But remember this, if they find out about your nikkah by any means (through asking your fiance's neighbors or looking through your pics or any other means) then they will not issue K1. If you were in saudia arabia when Nikkah took place then just go ahead and apply for CR1 and if you were not there meaning you did phone nikah or had wakeel then just visit her and then apply for CR1 visa. As for your paper work, you are spending a whole day trying to find out if you can use scan copy, have her mail you and it will be here either by Friday or Monday. GOOD LUCK!!    completly agreed! Nikah is legal marriage! YOu didnt signed any documents for Nikah ?? i would even get your marriage legalized in Saudi before applying! CR1 is the route! I know its a written authorization but how should it be done?     Do it the right way with her orignal signature please! DO not try other routes.. GEt it expressed mailed to you and you will get the package in less than 5 days.. Its completly worth the wait. You are from MENA countries which have higher chance of AP! I highly recommend taking every piece of document seriously and taking your time submitting it. Don't rush! If you rush, it will end up RFE or more problems!! Good Luck! There should be 4 with the same exact data,all with the original signatures and all signed. All 2 hole punched at the top . Flip them over get the US Citizen photo. Write the name in pencil on the back. Stick it in a Ziploc bag. Staple the bag (make sure you don't staple the actual picture) to a sheet of paper that has the US citizens name on it. Flip it over get the foreigners G-325 As. There should be 4 with the same exact data,all with the original Is this CORRECT!?
