Hello sis, pereho tayo ng situation.. wala parin yung visa ko.. last jan.27 ang interview ko i was approve... until now wala parin yung visa ko... yung consul ko window 29 or 31 i think...lalaki siya matangkad at bata pa...napaka strict niya...sus pambihira talaga siya...hindi pa binigay visa natin....sana sis mataggap na natin this week....pina cancel ko na nga yung flight ko for tomorrow feb.7, kasi wala pa visa ko... hindi ko naman alam na tamad pa pala yung consul natin...baka mga sis nagagandahan siya sa atin at palagi niyang tinitingnan yung picture natin... naka hindi siya makatulog pag wala yung papers natin....hay naku... ano ba ito...

i searched the father of my son and thanks to friendster.com i found him there and i told him abt the situation and thanks to God,he understand and he sent the letter of consent that i asked from him to bring our son to USA...its not notarized but i asked him to write down by his handwritten and send thru post office and email.i got the one from email already but we are still waiting for that one from post office and we will send that right away to NVC...i also asked him that if possible,get a notarized but he is working offshore right now and cant find a lawyer but he promised to get one once he come home to his country on Dec.
just have faith in God and everything will be fine...

Okay...is the biological father's name on your son's ds230 and on his birth certificate? My child's birth certificate does not have her biological father's name on her birth certificate, nor does it show any notation of acknowledgement. Nor does his name appear on her baptismal. Nevertheless, I made an affidavit of illegitimacy for her.


we called the NVC again yesterday and another person talked to us...he gave us two option...the first one is to get an order from the court in philippines that i have sole custody of my son and the 2nd is to contact the father and ask his permission and let our son to migrate to USA..
i called the lawyer in Philippines and i cant get any court order without my presence there and it will takes abt 3 months or more to be done...this makes me upset and i dont know what i am going to do...if i will take the 2nd option,i dont know wheres the father right now...his job is let him travel from one country to another.
i am so upset and i feel i am alone.i cant even have the chance to talk to my husband abt what the lawyer told me today coz he also have problem with his 18th year old pregnant daughter right now.
God help me.....

The difference between CR & IR is the length of time. The change of category is actually advantageous for you as you will not have to file removal of conditions.


on our first notices from NVC,it stated there that my son is on CR2 but then after we sent the DS-230 papers including some of his supporting documents,they changed it to IR2.
and abt his biological father,i dont know where he at right now.
i also read the DSWD website,my son can travel with me to the US without his father consent.i know that this confuses me b4 coz when we traveled to India in 2004 to visit his father's family,DSWD was asking for a consent from his father...but since DSWD changed it already so i have no worry abt that anymore.my concern right now is where we go get that custody papers..any advice?

here i am again...asking questions to all of you here..i got letter from NVC today and they are asking for missing documents for my son...they are asking for a CUSTODY PAPERS..
it says " Please submit evidence that you have been granted custody of this child.Copies of original court custody documents are acceptable.In Addition to the above,in case of joint custody or remaining rights of a non-custodial parent,applicants must also submit a notarized statement from the non-custodial parent granting permission for the child to immigrate to the U.S".

i have full custody of my son sinced birth but its my US american husband who filed petition for him as his step father....what we gonna do? my entry to U.S was as CR1 and then i am wondering why they changed the preference category for my son,it was changed to IR2-CHILD OF U.S. CITIZEN... why?

yes my son interview was Dec.22,2009 but the consulate was asking for a proof of relationship between me and my son.they are asking pictures when i was pregnant,prenatal records and etc...to prove them that i am the mother and then they are asking for a pictures of my husband holding a recent date newspaper taken in any US landmark and copy of his passport..we already submitted it last Jan 7 and i called today and the lady told me that its on the consulate now for review,she adviced me to call again next week.
i am hoping that the visa will be issue soon coz i already bought a ticket for me to travel to philippines and get my son and bring him here in USA...i hope and pray..please help me pray my so VJ's

abt my son,i was not really aware abt primary complex or anything,my brother just think that my son needs to see a pedia coz he is very picky on foods,but then they found out that he have white spots on his lungs and thats a month b4 his medical..i cant posponed his medical and interview anymore and i dont want to posponed it anyway,so now we are still waiting for the visa to come.
ipa medical mo nalang ung kid mo sa St. Lukes...clear na lungs...just bring the film and show it to them,makikita nman sa film na clear na..

Hi sis,thanks for your reply. did you just found out a month ago that your son has a primary complex? My son had also a Primary complex a year ago but he already had his medication finished that is why i had to have them xrayed to make sure and the result of the Xray was -.not really sure if i will believe with what the doc said .should i get other doctor's opinion ?Vj members pls Helppppp! thanks.

i am still keep on calling the customer service right now but no luck, nobody answer..earlier they told me to call back at 5am,am still sleeping that time noh!
i dont have secret word on my transactions coz i dont want any problem when my reciever gets the money but i think the problem here is that,once the transactions been open up,it will says right away as TRANSACTION COMPLETED.thats what i think.they need to update their system for sure if they want us to stick with them.
anyways,i will keep on calling them...and see how fast they can solve our problems.



A friend of mine had somehow the same problem with yours. When her mother tried to withdraw the said money from Cebuana Lhuiller, the teller said that she(mom) needs to leave her ID and come back the day after but when she came back, the teller said that the money has already been released. Shocking, eh?

hi Folks...am back! i will just want to share what i have experience lately with XOOM.COM...i sent money last week and when the reciever went there to pick up after 48 hours,the teller in Cebuana Lhuillier said that its on hold and need my permission b4 they can release the money...i was confused that time and i was thinking maybe it was not yet updated from my bank account and so my reciever went back again today,Monday.but then...they teller said that it was already bill out..so he asked when and then they give him the date and time but then it was the same date and time that he was there and told him that the money was on hold...so i called the customer service today and asked whats going on,they promise me to trace it and i will call them again later...i am freaking mad with this service right now...i am using xoom for couple times already and now i encountered this stupid thing...for sure i am not going to use this service again...never.
now i am hanging on here waiting for their answer...
is there anyone here who encountered the same thing like mine?

I paid Delbros on july 3, had my interview on Jul18, they gave me both white and pink slips crying.gif still wating for word re my visa mellow.gif
