Philippines	CFO topic again (for my dual national baby)	Thank you so much for all your info, i just done interviewed for my baby's CRBA last Monday (May 23, 2010). And going to pay the Lab test tomorrow (cause its holiday today) for DNA test, how long does it takes to get done with this thing? If so, what passport am I going to use in case he will be coming to the US? Philippines	Laptop Shipment thru USPS	my fiance sent me a tablet, a camera and an iphone and graphics card with my baby's shoes on it, its already been a month now and i haven't heard anything from it, well its okay if they will ask me some "extortion" which i know its very common but i got a feeling its already stolen, especially my fiance declared it as new. now i keep telling him to find the receipt "due to his carelessness" so i can track it on the main post office. If they stole it well, they better have a good reason when they already face the consequence of getting fired cause they didn't know i worked in a reputable government company for 14 years and and i can track them down. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	1-130 is ready but confused about middle name	On the G325a and the I130,,, We used the new married name,,, as you stated "her maiden name will become her middle name"... Note: Seen previous post... She was a K1 and married in the USA... That is different then your situation... Regards, Thanks Doug,..I just wanted to make clear if there's no problem regarding change of middle name. What about your wife's birth certificate when she brought it to the embassy and had interview? How long did you wait to obtain IR1/CR1 visa? K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	1-130 is ready but confused about middle name	Hello everyone...My husband and I got married last July here in Philippines. We filled out forms and everything needed for I-130 but not send it yet.He got confused about my middle name I used in marriage certificate is different from what I used in forms for K-3. He told me that in America, their middle name will remain even if they got married. I explained to him that in Phils., what we consider middle name is the maiden name of our mother. Once a woman got married, her maiden name will become her middle name. He asked me if the VISA people knew about it. That is why am here hoping that anybody could help us. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	IR-1/CR-1 vs K3/I-129F	Very Confused. I got married on December 15th in Ivory Coast where my husband resides and I am a US citizen. I am trying my best to get him here as soon as possible without consulting an attorney or consulting an attorney at an hourly wage rather than paying for the entire process. I am almost ready to send out the I-130 and I found this lovely forum and now I am confused about the IR-1/CR-1 vs the K3. If i am interpreting this correct, this will not be an issue until I file the I-130 and it is approved or is this something that I need to consider now before I file the I-129F a few weeks after the I-130 is accepted. On another note, why do the instructions omit the foreign spouse's birth certificate. The recent form on the USCIS website calls for it. Any guidance would help! Hello!..Based on my experience, it's easy to file petiton for spouse. I am the beneficiary but I encouraged my husband not to get an attorney since I found this website is very helpful. We just follow the guidelines here and make sure that before sending out the I-130, we checked all the required documents and put everything in order to avoid delays. Actually, we did file for K3, we first send out the I-130, after we received NOA1, we send out I-129F. We both received the approved i-130 and i-129f the same day. But the NVC processes my I-130, my case has been routed to CR1. So the I-129F is now meaningless. There are lot of people here willing to help you if you have questions. I hope this help.
