Philippines	Is my relationship hopeless??????	As I read your first post again, your case needs a good advice from an immigration lawyer. Looks like there's something going on her mind. Whatever it is she is the only one who knows it. They separated 2 months after they got married and even then she already started talking to you. I don't think she totally lost her communication with her husband since you stated her husband filed her marriage her in the Philippines 2 months ago and even filed a marriage visa. and that's 22 months (if i'm not mistaken) after they got married and at the same time you filed K1 visa for her. Don't you think someone would file a marriage visa for her wife more than 20 months after they got married if they don't have any means of communications? Does it means she was talking to you and talking to her husband at the same time? I'm sorry but its looks like "whoever visa comes first" basis here. I'm sorry its just my point of view but thinking about that, maybe that's why she got denied, she put single on her application while the truth is she was married. Does she tell you the cause of her denial?.... Seems like she lied from the very start.... Hello, try to find a lawyer here in the Philippines who specialized Annulment Cases, they know what kind of case they will file , there are lots of grounds to file an Annulment Case . I was separated for 6 years and my lawyer filed an annulment with the grounds of "Psychological Incapacity with NARCISSISTIC Anti-Social Behavior" . So before going to the next step like filing of K1 visa try to cleared out the first step. You need a long patience in this case cause I waited mine for 3 years and my case is "No Contest" meaning my ex didn't file for a counter affidavit so if your fiancee's husband (not ex yet cause she's still married to him up to this point)would file a counter affidavit then maybe much longer. The whole process needs a long patience and a strong faith to God. But before filing an Annulment make sure you find the right attorney who would not want only money, but an attorney who wants money (of-course that's what they after for, lol) and who wants to win the case. Philippines	Birth Certificate Issues	@ Charlize56 i guess u r just mistaken cause i also used my brother in law cause he is working there in Butuan City Hall (luckily)everything that will be corrected will be by court the only different is that when the correction is "mispelled letter for names or surnames " there is no court hearing on that. But then they will pass it on court to put Case Number. This is the processing details and time on my case. I went there to gather all the documents needed, after i submit it, i waited a couple of days to get a Case Number then waited almost a month till they submit a Resolution in NSO (Sta. Mesa Office) then after that, Sta. Mesa Office returned a reply to Butuan City Civil Registrar that it is already approved it only takes almost 2 weeks cause I knew someone inside NSO Office then next to that Butuan City CR filed a CERTIFICATE OF FINALITY , the original sent to Main Office again and they sent me the duplicate . I filed the duplicate personally in NSO East Avenue Branch and waited 15 days to get the Annotated BC. It cost me more or less 5,000 on that one. @ Dwight and Hanilyn, you can follow up your case in the City Hall, but you need the case number cause they will ask you that. Sometimes using an Attorney cause delay in some paper works. HINT : To all those who wants to expedite it, befriend the one who is handling your case and well, give them some "pambara and pantulak" lol (it really helps) I done did that the whole time i am processing my annulment paper, my attorney is so lucky he didn't do anything but represent me on court hearing .	brian and aileen	Female	Philippines	2011-09-12 06:48:00
Philippines	Birth Certificate Issues	Hello, i got the same problem my name misspelled "AILENE" in my BC instead of AILEEN . I didn't use an attorney cause using an attorney will only cause delay, So I gathered all the requirements they needed and went to the place where i was born (whew ... Butuan City is quite far from Manila) it took almost 2 months to get a Finality of Correction of my name and then 15 days to get my Annotated BC from the main NSO. Philippines	I thought NBI clearances take a day to process?	the best thing to do is to go to main office at 5am, their quota is 2000 in one day, cause when u applied in local branch it takes one to two months before u got it but if u are government employee (i used my old id) they prioritize it. It only takes 30 minutes and i'm done with the whole thing. it takes too long cause they check the data and the receipt is manual too, and as I remember their computer are more or less 30 pcs, and that includes the clearance printing and computer for finger printing and webcam... and reminder , bring some biscuit and water cause the line is too long u might lose your line if u go outside.	brian and aileen	Female	Philippines	2011-09-15 04:46:00

Philippines	HELP! VJers with 221(g) & approved Visa already!	I have the same issue, i changed my name from AILENE to AILEEN. First i corrected my name entry in my Birth Certificate then, when i get my NBI i make sure i put my old name in A.K.A even if I didn't use it. Maybe all she need to do is to get a new one and let her old name reflect on both documents (Cenomar and NBI). Hope this helps. Philippines	Interview K1 Visa	I made an appointment for my son's interview last Sept. 7, which is a K-visa category, their slot/vacant date is November 19 and 20, so probably their slot will be by the end of November right now. I used to sent my documents to my son in the Philippines using USPS Flat rate Express Priority Mail and they always got it 3 to 5 business day. Philippines	VISA INQUIRY	Hello guys, Does anybody here knows where I can call the USEM to verify the status of visa? my son interviewed last Nov. 19, 2012 and the consul said just wait for the visa to be delivered. It's already been 10 days and the visa hasn't deliver yet. I am just worried because my visa will become one year this Dec. 1, 2012 . And if they can't issue him a visa before that day, he won't be able to come here anymore. How long does it takes to get the visa in the Philippines after your interview? When i saw she put married above where i wrote the annulled word, i thought its their codes since she put parenthesis on the word i originally wrote i didn't pay attention to it until i needed to gather all the documents i needed to bring to apply for my passport which is on this coming Friday. Philippines	K1 is for single only ????	Hello VJ, Good day. Once again I am here seeking for some advice, I know you guys helps a lot of people and that is the best thing about this site. You learned a lots of things from people here based on their own experienced. NOw my question is about this things that really makes me confused. I got my NBI clearance (more likely a police clearance) before you can get your clearance you need to fill up some forms , then you go to data check division for them to check if your data is correct. Now in my CS i put "ANNULLED" but then the woman asked me, "Are u married?" (lol) (is there any single status that file for an annulment?)and so I said "yes". Now I noticed that in my clearance under CS instead of "ANNULLED" it is "MARRIED". Will this be a problem ? Or is this what really happens cause i put my ex-husband name cause it is clearly one of the requirements that u need to put other names that you used. Someone told me that this will be a big problem cause K1 is only for single and not yet married before" Can Someone please enlighten me on this ???? I am so confused ....
