I mean I called a place in toronto in regards to getting some shots that were needed and i believe the place was called medisys and they do vaccinations. Canada	Medical Exam	yes I was in and out of seidans within 90 minutes. good doctor and stafff.. however I do want to know what everyone did with their chest xray I mean did you carry it normal or did you fold it? Mine is huge and I dont know how I am going to carry everything at the moment.The lady at seidens office handed it too me gave it too me slightly folded so it could fit in my bag. Canada	Starting to panic	When they pull stuff like this, I always think someone there was a complete moron and spilt coffee on the passport or something and they're just drying them out... I always think they have a room there with a string and clothes hangers for all the papers they spill coffee on. It makes total sense. haha I have this awesome image in my head now. There are montreal officers opening a door to the room they call "Data room" and when they open the door there is 10 fans blowing air and clothing lines with paperwork blowing side to side. Canada	Starting to panic	Hang in there, I am sure it will be there soon. I do get exactly the position you are in. My husband will be here at the end of the month, I will have 2 weeks to get my visa or I will be homeless as well. I had no choice my lease is up as of november 1st and I can only lease 6-12 months and I am not about to do that. Canada	Chest Xray	Hey guys a briefly asked this once last week but I think i need to clarify my question and see if anyone has any suggestions. I have one 13 expanding folder and 2 document folders. Its actually not that much but I cannot fit the damn chest xray into either of the folders and it is quite large. How did everyone carry it to the interview? Did you fold it? did you put it into a file folder so how? did you carry it as is? However, am nervous that because of the Thanksgiving holiday there will be less interview dates given. And since we completed on June 30th and hoping we don't end up waiting till December for ours. Canada	Question about Revenue Canada???	I've never come across this problem before but I don't see how Revenue Canada can cause you any problems. Why would they be calling about a student loan? It doesn't make sense. And how would they even know that you are emmigrating? A lot of us, including me, still deal with Revenue Canada due to financial ties to the country but they've never given me a problem about being here. In fact, it's old news to them. I think your concerns are unfounded. I agree what does canada revenue have to do with a student loan? You have nothing to worry about they are probably just calling to tell you they will not be giving you anymore money. I am guessing but if you changed your marital status they tend to check up on you. I lost my child tax and gst when I got married to my husband because they thought I had already moved to the states. It took me 5 months to get it back and Now I should be immigrating in a few weeks (crosses fingers) I am sure they will call you back if its important and I dont think the states care what loans you have haha. Canada	Medical exam USA or Canada	We applied for the K1 visa, and according to the K1 flow chart, I will need an exam in Toronto. We just replied to an RFE that we overlooked (paper work). We are guessing that we will be receiving our NOA2 in the next two weeks. I live in Windsor, so traveling to Toronto or Montreal is good hike. I was just wondering if I can in fact get the medical exam booked ahead of the notice from the US consulate. Like Ricardo4eva2 said, perhaps the exam is good for six months. To see a specialist here in Windsor, the appointment wait times are up too six months. I'd rather get the exam out of the way. Yes medicals are vaild for 1 year I believe but you will want to use this medical for your aos as well so It is actually better to wait in my mind. In toronto and montreal they have 2 day service for medicals which is why I suggusted doing this on the same week of the Interview. As for how busy they are, Well I was booked for less then two weeks after I called and that was toronto. Canada	Medical exam USA or Canada	Unfortunately not. The only doctors who can conduct your immigration medical are in Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal. The civil surgeons in the US are qualified to conduct your AOS medical. However, if your K-1 medical is less than 1 year old at the time of AOS, you are not required to have another medical done. A lot of people wait until they have an interview date, and then coordinate their medical with their interview time. So if it's possible to spend a few extra days in Montreal, you can have it done at the same time and avoid a trip.
