my fiance called NVC today for the first time and we got our case number..not sure if i will go and pay the document verification fee now maybe i should wait for the hardcopy from NVC to be sure..and i heard about those 2 identical hardcopies too..a vermont filer received the same thing and since it has the same case number he said that it doesnt matter...

just hope csc wont be idle again this coming week..goodluck to all feb filers!!!

I think it's useless to call them because the person who answer the calls does not really know what's happening to your case. I think they are also looking on the case status online. If they really know the status of our case they should have told my fiance that our form was sent back to him as early as May (please read my previous posts for details). What sucks more is that they updated it only on July 17 and they did not even send email. Good thing I often check it online otherwise we would not have learn about it.

i think you shouldnt worry about those 'touches'..we've been approved without any single touch and nary an email notification so we were surprised when we found our NOA2 on the mailbox!!!we were approved july 9 but up until now the website says our case is still pending..so dont worry about the touches and the email updates coz its not reliable..goodluck!!!!

I am sick of feeling like we are property and people can control if we can or can not be together. I understand we cant let everyone move to the USA but if the world were fully open to anyone to move anywhere I really think that would improve ALL the countries all around the world. Governments would have to make sure their country was run well so people would want to live there. It would be like a business trying to make their country the best.
I hate going to bed with Mark not by my side, the kids miss him like crazy, and while I understand that a lot of people are waiting this only makes me feel like, since we paid so much to get this started, then surely they could hire more people so this goes in a more timely manner.
We filed in early Feb. and got our NOA1 on Feb 11th. it has now been 145 days, we have not had a touch since Feb 13th, and I am frustrated as heck.
I know that some people from January have not gotten their NOA2, I just wish they would do something, cant they set up another service center? Some of our friends will be filing soon and they hope to get married next April, we will be there to support them, and have told them about this site, but we have also explained that it isnt easy.

well i dont know whats going on at csc anymore coz our timeline is exactly the same as yours and ive seen people that filed before us who got their approvals last week..my heart was crying unfair but i know its not their fault..i hope that all of us feb filers will see the light at the end of the tunnel soon..

Yeah it was a stretch of like 8 or 9 miles with no exits and it was 3 lanes of autobahn going down to 1.


I love when they do that..... not really.... it's common, and no one knows that really. Craig wanted a fast car because he wanted to see how it is driving without speed limit, but most of the time there were to many cars to go really fast, and then when it was free there was a limit. he also hated the car the rental place gave us, so he was making fun of me driving, since I dont drive much in Germany, and in Cleveland I got the Jeep he bought me the last time I came.

I really hope for all of us (or at least a huge amount of us) will get approved in June. Next week snail mail will hit big time, and that stupid 3 on Igors list will grow to a bigger number. I know we have to wait, specially since we applied in the 2nd half of February, and seeing so many people waiting for so long, i just want it to go in order, since I don't like it when someone cuts in line.

Thanks for the heads up Earp! Ok. This can't be scheduled until after the interview, correct? And then about a week later she attends the seminar....then she can leave right away? Or does she have to wait some time for processing after the seminar?

I'm just trying to plan some flights. I would like to be there and ready so we can leave as soon as she has completed all of the requirements, but I don't know if it is possible to make the timing perfect. You're welcome! Its preferable to attend the CFO seminar when she has her visa on hand.Since she can do a walk-in she doesnt have to set up an appointment for it. There's no waiting time after the CFO seminar(they'll stamp her passport on the same day) Once she has the stamp on her passport ..yes she can leave right away.
