Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 DENIED !! :(
5 nov 2011 was a saturday.
6 nov 2011 was a sunday.

even if the RFE arrived at the processing center on the 3rd or the 4th, it is possible that it was logged (aka looked by a human and entered into the system) several days later (1-3).

in any case, the original submission looks to somewhat weak (see first RFE thread by the OP) and he seemed stumped as to what evidence to respond to the RFE with, other than the porn tape. let me take this opportunity to say id LOVE to see the photo of the tattoo though. really.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 DENIED !! :(
here is the OPs post in reference to the RFE from sept 2011:

U.S Citizenship and immigration services has reviewed your petition to remove conditions on residence FORM I-751 and supporting evidence. Your supporting evidence does not sufficiently establish that you and your spouse entered the marriage in good faith and continue to share a life together. REALLY WTFF??

After sending whole bunch of pictures to them even a picture of her name tatto'ed on my chest pictures of us traveling, plane tickets that we took trips back home. Our apt lease both of our names on the lease. Insurance cards etc.

What the fk do i send these people? I mean my wife is pregnant now i can send the ultra sound picture, these people maybe will believe us that we're living together..

Or should i make a porn tape and send it to them?

did you send the RFE back on the day before it was due? (due 3 nov, overnighted 2 nov?)

documents are generally not considered to be 'received' by USCIS until they have been logged onto the system, a couple of days after delivery to the service center.

dont stress too much. it will bet sorted out one way or another.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 March 2011 Filers

Went in this morning for my infopass appointment. There was one person working there, and they opened late. Any way, they would only give me wife a 60 day stamp on her passport since she had been already been approved. They confirmed my wife had been approved, but the approval paperwork had not yet been sent to the national office, and that it might take up to 6 months to get an actual greencard.

They warned that if she travels overseas she needs to be back before the stamp expires. If she's overseas when it expires, she'd need to stay out of the country until the green card is issued, and then we could have it mailed to her to return. However she warned green cards tend to get lost/stolen when shipped overseas.

So that sucks. We have to wait up to 6 months for the local office to get around to sending the paperwork back to the national office, and then for them to process it, yet they'll only give her a 60 day stamp.

that SUCKS. boo. i hope it just shows up soon!

my update yeah actually i received a letter from uscis last month saying they need more evidence that the marriage is in good faith. They said the evidence I submitted was insuffcient. its a shame it took them 8 months to tell me that they need more information and now i am guessing it will take them another 4 months to approve my application making it 1 year for the whole application to be approved and get the 10 year card. :(

aww. an RFE. did you send it back quickly with good supporting evidence that was specifically requested?? if so, i don't necessarily think it will add that much time.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionROC Bio done in Sept. 2011 - no greed card yet?
good grief.

you are experiencing the spectrum of the process. your wife's ROC went quick. faster than the advertised time of 6 months. (were you singing the praises of the USCIS then?) now your son's is taking longer and its 'inconvenient' for you. but he is not yet out of normal processing times. (feb 3 will be 6 months for him.)

have you even looked through the august 2011 filers thread? only about a third of CSCers have been approved!

you seem to suffer from a lack of patience (and reading comprehension at times). this will only make the wait more difficult for you. youll probably get an approval in the next couple of months. long before the GC extension expires.
mr and mrsFemaleUnited Kingdom2012-01-14 14:47:00
Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionROC Bio done in Sept. 2011 - no greed card yet?
did you ever provide a date of the NOA1? if you can tell us that, we will know when he filed ROC and when his conditional status will expire.

odds are that is is in august of 2012 which is 8 months away.

is there a reason, other than impatience, that you are so concerned about the timing of his approval?

and again, a majority of CSC filers from JULY (44% approved) and AUGUST (35% approved) have **NOT** been approved. your stepson's case is not yet out of the ordinary.

USCIS is reporting that they are processing mid may ROCs.

got it? good. sit tight.

edit: ps you are not likely to see ANYTHING until an RFE or the approval. thats also completely normal. do you read the threads here?

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHusband didn't inform USCIS about the divorce.
its not about the card. its about your status. the condition that gave you status has evaporated.

you know this. we know this. but uscis does not.

you know that you are no longer lawfully residing in the us. we know that. but uscis does not.

if they do know and you havent filed for roc, thats problematic.

either file roc or surrender your gc and leave the us.

simple really. there is no place for subterfuge of any kind.

an accordion file! yes! thats what i told him! (and thats what i delivered to him in january with an I-129F packet copy and some other original documents. ungrateful git!)

from staples (i cant imagine i would have paid $17 for it though! i think it was like $9. and its great.)

this evening, when we were talking on the phone going through the papers for the interview, he banned me from saying the words 'accordion file' until further notice. (ha!)

he seems to not understand that he could probably navigate through the streets of london with said folder under his arm with little difficulty. he does not seem interested in temporarily ('kiddo, they give your stuff back') stowing his things at the pharmacy near the embassy. he is an odd boy, but i ADORE him.

ps. he is now under the impression that vj is a cult.
me: 'well, on the messageboard, it seems most people recommend x'
him: 'oh really? your cult recommends x? do they also recommend drinking the kool aid?'

i dont care. i love my cult. (yes, im talking about you.)

miss you, ms. magpie. im waiting patiently for good news from you.

as for me, i am finding waiting for the interview rather boring. im sure there are things that i could/should be doing in preparation for the future (jamie's arrival, getting married, AOS, etc x infinity.) i wish i was with jamie so i could help him tie things up before he leaves. i have a feeling it will all come down on him in the last couple of days and he will be stresed by it all. but he will survive and he will get here and that will be wonderful.

im giving myself a break this weekend because i am sick. bleck. sore throat and sinus-y headache. called in sick to work yesterday and today. i rarely call in sick. plus, im stuck in bed and its lovely outside. i did go and check on my garden and my bulbs and things are pushing up through the soil. my garden will be full of white tulips (and maybe orange? i cant remember) when jamie comes. : )

anyways, im bored.

BUT today is the 11th of april and that means 9 days until jamie's interview.

well just finished his tax return. 1 ( ie this year) should be enough and w 2s , right???

i think there is a difference between 'enough evidence' and 'more than enough, but a comfortable level of evidence' which probably varies from couple to couple.

i am a worrier and i try to think of every angle. so for me, my comfort level is way too much (see my interview checklist for an pretty extensive list). but, again, for me, thats what's best. ill just make scrap paper out of all of the extra documents.

but really, i think, though ive not been through the full process, it seems like the london US embassy is fairly straight-forward for the documentation that will satisfy the CO. if you are in good financial shape, you may not need a lot of extra documentation. if not, do your best to present your financial situation in the best light possible.
