that IS stressful. i do hope you are both alright and dont have to wear those unfashionable neck collars!

speedy recoveries to you both!!

whid, you just do your best! updated info will be helpful.

im not worried for you, just wish you didnt have to deal with the extra stress!

im stressed to the maximum at the moment. but its not immigration stress. at least immigration is faceless. restaurant customers are right in your face and theyre hungry! : ( im having the proverbial terrible horrible no good very bad day. and i cried. AT THE OLIVE GARDEN!! (never waited tables before.)

jeez louise. :l

its all about (april)may right now. the first vsc may approval was just before xmas (i think?). so the first vsc june may not be til late jan. best case for vsc julyers is looking like late feb early march.

id like to see more csc july filers approved! though i am enjoying cheering for may filers right now.

whenever the processing times update gets published, i feel sure it will reflect 8 months of processing rather than six.

oop. look at that. today is MY 6 month mark. im going to sit tight until july sees a couple of approvals. when we hit 7.5 months, i might get nosy!

patience to us ALL!

[b]IS VERMONT REALLY THIS SOLW OR ARE THEY JUST REALLY THAT BUSY. THIS MAKES NOT SENSE AT ALL

dear cav and/or lisa,

please do not type in bolded caps. its considered bad etiquette around these parts, even if you are frustrated.

VSC is slower. they seem to be processing may applicants at the moment. couple months to go for us.

thanks for adding your imformation. be patient. still lots of may and june filers in front of us VSC julyers.

sinc,
the mrs.

So evidentially ever since November when we enter our case number into the USCIS it says it's not a valid case number - #######??????????? First was a bit pissed that hubby didn't tell me until the other day. Second, why the heck isn't it there anymore? It used to be. What does it mean?

lady, make sure youre entering in the correct number. think its the one from your biometrics appointment letter, not your NOA1. hope thats the issue. hope youre hanging in there. did you send in the RFE?

I was hoping to check this thread and see SOMETHING for Vermont.... sigh.... so sad. Congrats to the others that have been approved though. :)

I'm so nervous about this whole thing... its been almost 6 months for us and no news... :(

there have been 11 may VSC approvals reported. (less than a quarter)
there have been NO june VSC approvals reported.

you shouldnt expect to see any july VSC approvals for a good 6 or 8 weeks.

aww. #######, whidbey.

first, it will get sorted out. fear not!

second, how is it possible for USCIS to ask for proof of a non existent-child? what (and i REALLY hope this is not the case) if you dont have children?

is that all they ask for?

have you got any new evidence (since you submitted the ROC)? more bank statements, paperwork from fertility treatments that indicate joint investment (emotional and financial)?

and remember that the RFE means that you case is currently being adjudicated, so once the RFE gets sorted, it will be not too long til you have the 10 yr GC in hand!

chin up. see what advice others have to offer.

i hope that july filers will see at least one approval in december. no approvals reported in the thread in december thus far and only one approval reflected in the timelines for december.

it's been a dry month for us, eh?

boring update re: the change of address.

still havent seen any confirmation from USCIS that they received the change we did online (ar-11). so my husband called today and (re)submitted it via phone. i sort of encouraged him to say it had been 30 days since we submitted (nov 15 - dec 12 = 28 days i think.) as they say, thats close enough for government work!

so now i hope that a NOA will appear in the mail box in the next week or so.

i think us VSCers knew there was very likely going to be significant time added as the waits seem to have gotten longer. not your fault, whidbey!!

thanks for updating! though when i saw your name i was hoping for an approval announcement from you! soon though!

my alien husband called USCIS this morning to see if the address change had indeed been received. though extremely pleasant, they could offer little in the way of help. since my husband told them we had filed it online (which we did), the woman did not take the change of address over the phone. she said to wait 30 days and then get back touch with USCIS. pffft. think we will just sent the hardcopy AR-11 (if i can convince my husband to). it does day explicitly NOT to submit the change of address in a different format. but i would like to know that the change has been registered and that the documents will be sent to the right address.

i wish it had been him (LPR) that got the confirmation, not me (USC). pffft.

que sera, sera.

i got a confirmation of our change of address today in the mail for me (USC, for i-864). i filed it via regular mail. have not seen a confirmation for my husband (LPR, i-751), which was submitted online.

think my husband will call in to check that the address change was indeed received.

guess im wondering if we should have gotten a confirmation of the change of address for ROC in he mail?

So, if they are only processing February people right now... does that mean they haven't even glanced at our paperwork? I have not received an RFE or anything so, I figured by now I was just waiting for the decision. Would we have already gotten RFE notices by now or could they still be coming later on?

can you update your timeline/signature, lechat? still shows you as AOS. where did you file?

big news of the day = USCIS processing time for VSC is back to 6 months. far less depressing than seeing that static feb 24th.

move it, VSC! let's see some apr/may approvals! (and CSC, cough up some more july approvals.)

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 July 2011 Filers

This is actually not the case. From https://egov.uscis.g...tion=coa.Terms:
"If you choose to use this online electronic change of address notification, please do not mail in a Form AR-11. On the other hand if you choose not to use this online tool and instead choose to mail in a paper Form AR-11 please understand that doing so will not update your address on any applications or petitions pending with USCIS."

We only filled out the online from after our AOS.. and just filed the I-751 with the new address. No need to complicate things.

ooh! did not know that. thanks for the information! can you do both the non-USC and the USC online?
mr and mrsFemaleUnited Kingdom2011-11-07 18:16:00
Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 July 2011 Filers

We just moved in to a different state 10 days ago and did the "Change of Address" online.

remember that the change of address process is not just online. you need to fill out the ar-11 (non-USC) AND the I-865 (USC) and mail them in. additionally, you can call USCIS to change/confirm the change. you probably know this already, but since it's sometimes overlooked by people, thought i'd mention it!

oh, hannah, my girl.

f*cking post office. (and i say that with love...)

glad you followed up. so sorry the change of address was not straight forward despite your best efforts.

dont waste too much energy on USCIS. spend it on that little lady and the stupid green card will fall into place. (this will all be a foggy memory soon!)

PS still looking for one more october approval. hello? are you out there?
