US Citizenship General Discussion	Form needed for my daughter	As other posters mentioned you can use your citizenship to apply for her passport. We just did the same for our son. This is what you will need: 1. Passport application 2. One photo 3. Your daughter's green card 4. Her original birth certificate. If not in English then certified translation with original is must 5. Your original marriage cert. if divorced then those papers 6. Your naturalization cert We applied at the passport agency so I know exactly what they ask. Hope this helps.       can it be certified marriage certificate because US embassy in vietnam never return our orignal docs.   we couldnt get a new one becuase we wouldnt have enough time to wait for 2 weeks to get a new one please help Edited by DungX, 29 June 2014 - 10:13 PM. When i had my citizenship my wife's case with my child under her as derivative was already on its way to the US CONSULATE in vietnam. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	f2a to ir2 question	Since your family (wife and child) are upgraded to IR-1/IR-2 (immediate relative), you now have to file a separate petition (i-130) for your child. The child no longer qualify for derivative status. You'll have to submit i-130, pay the fee. When approved, you'll have to pay the fee at NVC level as well...sorry for the bad news but that's the reality and there is no way around it.  well when it was f2a i file 2 seperate petition which were approve so do i have to call nvc and tell them to expedite my daughter case back or what? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	f2a to ir2 question	my wife got an interview on march 24, 2014, she was automatcially upgrade to ir1 but my child petition is still at nvc. my question is do i still have to pay for my child IV and AOS fees again since i already paid when she was in f2a? both the mother and daughter name was on the interview paper except my daughter derivative under her mom case. i dont know what to do......been hassling in vietnam back and forth with no results called NVC they take forever . Hi , I'm vietnamese too, can you speak vietnamese ??? just asking so if its better to communicate.... lol How long for your case processing ??? I'm at NVC now and waiting for the reply on our checklist, btw I'm CR1 visa and it has been a year since we applied it , dont know when will it finish. should wait for them or just call them to ask? My wife had an interview on march 24, 2014 but they cant give my daughter a visa because she was originally derivative with her mom but i filed 2 seperate i130 before that. So on april 2nd i request an expedite for my daughter case and nvc approve it today. Now my question is since all my documents of my daughter had been sent in and medical exam been turn in with her mom during the interview do i still have to provide anymore documents or no? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Transfer to Embassy	Our case is being transferred to the US Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia (where she lives).  Does anyone have any tip for what I should be doing to prepare?  I am going to print every single picture we have together and put them into a photo album to bring to the interview.  I also plan to bring updated money transfer records, Skype records, and phone records.  Is there anything else I should plan on bringing with me to the interview?  Any tips/suggestions are appreciated!   Airplane tickets or iternary reciept plus all of the above u mention	DungX	Not Telling	Vietnam	2014-04-09 10:46:00

US consulate in ho chi minh said they dont have it so what do i do now? Im wandering cuz we IR2 so will they send it home with my wife and child visa? They pass the interview by the way.
