In two months it will be one year since we filed. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2013 I-130 Filers	I received the letter ( not email) from my Sanator today, enclosed the Privacy Release From to Authorize Senator to make any action or an inquiry on my behalf. They work really fast, I just emailed them on last friday. My Senator also said in the letter that he had asked a Constituent Service Representative in Atlanta Office to look into this matter for me. The bottom of this letter is noticed "Upon receipt of your privacy release, Mr. Spry will make an initial contact with the Nebraska Service Center on your behalf" Wish my case will moving forward in this week I hope the senator are helpful to you! My senators were not helpful at all he couldn't do more then telling me its under processing time!!!!! My wife finally put a service request in on the website, and quoting what the letter said. We have to wait up until March 14th to hear an answer. I know a trick my wife did was she called USCIS one time and said "Oh sorry, I was connected to a tier 2 but was disconnected on the line, can you put me back through" and the tier 1 just put her back in the queue. Our senator also sent us an e-mail back stating they haven't heard back from USCIS  and they are still attempting to get a response from them. We have just started the fiance visa process and I have sent off everything for the I-129F application. But I have looked at your example form DS-156, where it says that proof of engagement is required. What prrof is needed? as the only proof we have is facebook posts to state we are engaged. I visited about 5 weeks ago and had to come back for work. We got on that well that we decided to get engaged, but could not afford a ring yet. We posted on facebook and that is the only proof we have. What could we do to get more proof about our engagement. I know the DS-156 form is not needed at the moment as we have just filled in the I-129F application but I just want to make sure I have everything when I need it.
