PhilippinesUpdates: those who passed the interview and now in the US,
I've been here in US for 4 mos now and so far I dont have a hard time adjusting to my new environment I love thier food although I seldom cook rice now thats okay for me because what i did is I cook a lot of rice and put that in a plastic container so if I feel like I want rice i just transfer some in my plate then reheat in microwave hahaha yes.gif call that laziness but its gas saving for us because my husband eat rice twice or thrice a month and I have to have rice at least 6 times a week hahhaha (including my lunch and dinner).
My husband love to cook his favorite grilled food,he loves camping so usually we camped twice a month even now that the weather is changing we still go camping and he would take me to the lake, evenif Im freez to death and with my doubled jackets and pants they wont help a bit but he and his brother and friend are just wearing shorts ohmy.gif ...
About my inlaws they are all so warm to me they make mefeel that I really belong to thier family of course Im missing my families in the Philippines but Im going to see them again hopefully next summer when I get my children,as of now we are enjoying the two of us together going out for a walk with our dog,go out once in a while for a dinner or watch a movie,do the yard works together his mowing while im planting the flowers or help help him clean his truck or the boat, exchanging some silly jokes and making fun with each other watch with him the NASCAR (his favorite of all that there is on the television) or buy a sunday paper and cut out all the discount coupons that we can use for groceries and some other things we need and sooo many things that we both enjoyed doing together.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

1. Happy wife

2.my AOS papers are in the process right now

3. I've just done my biometrics last Sept.8

4. Learning how to cook foods for the holidays

5. Im baking cakes and cookies smile.gif whewww

6.Just joined their church

7. Learning how to drive (so that i can go to the malls anytime they have thier big sale of the season hahahhahah biggrin.gif )

8. Even if I stutter sometimes when I m talking to his firiends and family they all said im doing pretty well blush.gif

9. And finally just yesterday I curved my first pumpkin ever,Im proud of that
(coz you know we dont do that in the Philippines)

Im looking forward to start working so that I can help my husband with some of the expenses and hopefully to see snow.......

PhilippinesHow to read/input philippine address
QUOTE (Riggs @ Feb 13 2009, 09:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi,

I noticed on the visa forms it ask for the name and address of your fiancee or spouse and it list street, city , state, etc. just like in U.S. address format. How would you read and input a philippine address into this form format. Here is an example address:

KM8 PUROK 12-B TABON MANGAGOY BISLIG CITY

What would be the house number, street, city State etc.? Basically, how does this relate to our address format in the U.S..

Thanks much!

Steve

Hi it should be like this...

house number KM8 PUROK 12
street TABON MANGAGOY
city BISLIG CITY
state (is her province)

ask her what province she is in right now to put for the state and also their zipcode
Hope i help you.

i've done my biometrics in Memphis and recieved a letter after a month saying they transfered my papers to CSC so from there all i had to do is to wait,I also registered to USCIS website to check the status of my petition.i got email from them and recieved a letter after few days..so its really the waiting game . goodluck

PhilippinesAttending Interview with Beneficiary
QUOTE (MMW @ Mar 9 2009, 01:26 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi All, Well it is getting close to our time for interview in Manila and I was hoping to get some feedback from the spouses that attended their Beneficiary's interviews with them. I was wondering what type of questions were asked of you by the Co and also the impressions you had of the CO doing the interview. Mostly the questions asked is what iI am really wondering about. We have been practicing for my wife's part of the interview but not sure of the type of questions I, as petitioner, should expect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I posted this at the Embassy forum but I guess this is better place for it since I am asking about Manila Embassy.

Hi,I guess its depend on the CO because during my interview almost a year ago my husband then fiance is with me inside the booth we are seating across each other and the lady CO asked him a lot but not me the only question she asked me is if i know the reason why he had divorces and to avoid a lot of questions i replied no (but i know the reasons)..so she told me that we better talked about that so that we can get to know each other more i said we will and thanked her..our interview lasted for only 5 mins or should i say his interview whistling.gif ..You'll be fine if the questions are answerable by yes or no just say yes or no so that the CO wont have to ask you a following questions from your answer.GOODLUCK

I called the number a few times and they would ask me where I was calling from. I told them the United States. They seem that they are more accommodating to US citizens. Like when my husband would call there, he would tell them that he was in the states too with me (even though he was in the Philippines) and they would be nice to him. It is weird that they practice favoritism there. But Lorraine doesn't. At least during our experience she didn't. She was very accommodating and answered all questions. She is local 5184 I think.

Yes I talked to Lorraine a couple of times and she is sooo nice but one time i happened to talked to Grace and she is not very accomodating and she even told me that she should be the one to talked to not Lorraine so I told my then fiance to calldthat number because I got so dissapointed and he spoken to Grace and told me that she is different from the one I dscribe to him, that she is so nice and very approachable ohmy.gif ! and even told him to call the next day ...OH WELL NAKAKAINIS NA DAPAT SILA YUNG UNANG IINTINDI SA KAPWA PINOY NILA PERO SA KANILA NAG UUMPISA ANG FAVORITISM.

I beg to disagree. That number is supposed to be for US BASED CALLERS ONLY. YOu better have your fiance call that number.

unsure.gif hmmm, iniba na ba nila ang number to call Grace or Lorraine? because that is the number I used to call before while waiting for my visa almost a year ago. I remember it has locals of 5184 and 5185..try both ways let your fiance call that number and you try it also and see what will works theres no harm in trying anyway
