ChinaUndecided about the I-134.....
Ok, gross income for 2008 was 66000, of that 44300 is taxable. No dependents, and they were filed on the behalf of both my grandfather and grandmother. I forget the exact numbers for sponsorship- what do you think darnell, enough?

ChinaUndecided about the I-134.....
I have heard many a horror story about people from guz with blue slips asking for the certified copies of income tax returns....
I have no income tax returns for 2007, i graduated high school that year. I will provide a letter for this.
I had a job in 2008, but did not make more than a few thousand (~6) for the whole year.
This year i have again been unemployed, and to this date have never filed tax returns.
I have never filed for unemployment or other government benefits.

Today i'm preparing to file my 08 & 09 tax returns, entirely for extra protection for this process. My grandfather is acting as a joint sponsor, qualifies with income and assets, but is also unemployed, is 90, and in light of all the circumstances i'm left wondering....

Should i pay $180 for him to get the certified tax returns, or should i take the risk and go with transcripts?

Please give me some input...

ChinaAge Difference

Based on my extensive experience with many countries and specifically with Guangzhou, I would encourage the reader to totally disregard this post as "misinformed". Age differences do not delay USCIS approvals. When you get to the interview at Guangzhou, the officer will care about whatever they decide the case file indicates they will "care about". Usually an 10 to 20 year age difference will not be a red flag.

How about with the tables turned and the woman being 5 1/2 years older than the male USC?

What the title says. I know ive seen it before, but i forgot exactly what it says. It just looks like a technical drawing of the VO window, and all the dimensions of it and whatnot inside GUZ. Now that we're shopping around for interview equipment, i need to know exactly whats going to fit and what wont.

ChinaSpeaking of updating status...

Hey Moon - any feedback(s) ?

Well, not really :)

If it really doesn't have anything to do with approval rates, then that's good news for me, cuz i got GUZ number..... just didn't want to get screwed twice in the same process, right?

Oh, and yea, i was really just talking about K-1s..... kinda knew that it was opt in for immigrant visas, but with the whole "that K-1 gets a GZO, and this K-1 gets a GUZ" thing going on, i wasn't sure if there was some deeper logic for it behind the scenes...
